Randy's Electric

We had 3 light fixers installed (foyer chandelier, kitchen island light, and a light on the exterior of the garage) as well as dimmer switches and a motion activated switch for the garage. The electrician was very thorough and gave us costs before proceeding with installation. He placed mats and blankets to protect everything around the work area and was very conscientious about the children who we tried to wrangle while he worked. Really couldn't be happier with the job. It was a tad pricer than I would have expected, but I would pay that again for that kind of professionalism and quality

The Angie's deal for $200 dollars worth of service for $70 came at the perfect time since we'd just bought a new chandelier and had decided we also needed to replace our old electrician! We were replacing a traditional round chandelier with a long 5-pendant light chandelier, so it was a little more complicated than the usual chandelier replacement job. Joe was terrific. He was meticulous when it came to making sure both the junction box he ended up having to install and the chandelier were straight. He also was extremely patient and adjusted and readjusted it several times so we could figure out the perfect height. We're thrilled with how it looks, and the total cost without the Angie's deal ($280) would still have been reasonable. We've definitely found our new electrician

I called on a Monday afternoon to check on wiring to install a kitchen chandelier. Matt and Tyler arrived within 45 minutes of my initial call. They charged me only the standard charge for a visit for $69. I had them go ahead and install the chandelier for me for $195. They were finished with the installation within 2 hours of my call to them. Great service! Great work! No emergency charge

Very impressed with the service. Scott returned my call on the same day and had availability for the following day. Michael arrived the next day at the arranged time, was very pleasant, and completed the work before noon. He left the room clean and the chandelier looks beautiful and works perfectly. What more could I ask for? I can't comment on the price, because this is the first electrical work I've needed. I will definitely call them again

I called on a Monday to have a new chandelier installed, and they scheduled me for Wednesday. Bob showed up 10 minutes early and completed the job in about 40 minutes. It went very smoothly. The charge was $85 less Angie's $15 coupon. He even offered to take the old chandelier away.

Don't be fooled by the "request a quote" button here. Randy's electric will not give you a quote on work over the phone or by email. They insist on charging you $59 to come visit and then they will tell you how much the job will be. The phone is answered 24/7 but not by people who are empowered to give you any answers that will help you figure out how much the job might cost. And if you ask for someone who might be able to figure out how much something will cost to give you a call back, they stifle a laugh. They might do a good job. They might charge a fair price. But I'll never know since they won't tell you even a range of what a job might cost

Great! They came within the time window they promised and did not take long to install. They did not damage the ceiling during installation which was very important to us and cleaned up afterwards. Very professional and cost efficient.

Joe came out to fix a light on our chandelier and was unable to do the work here. He removed the chandelier and took it with him. That was five months ago. He has not been heard from since. Repeated calls to his business and mobile numbers have not been returned. We've had to go spend hundreds of dollars to buy a new chandelier and have it installed. I hope Joe is OK, but we've had to close the books on this job and it was a total failure

BROTHERS CAME OUT THE SAME DAY, AFTER THEY HAD A CANCELLATION. THE OLD LIGHT FIXTURE DID NOT HAVE THE PROPER BOX, WHICH THEY REPLACED TO HANG THE CHANDELIER.
The project was excellent from start to finish. The installers are true craftsman who showed up every day, worked hard and cleaned up at the end of the day. Once they started with our house, they never left to work on another house, they stayed with us until the project was completed, which took about three days. The supervisor for the crew was very knowledgeable, professional and easy to work with. We highly recommend Craftsman Choice as a siding contractor
They arrived timely, assessed the 8n stall and went to work. Everything went well other than a faulty solenoid switch which they replaced immediately. A relay and the heater was blowing and it was uncertain if it was due to their work but they came back later and install it for free.
Mad City's installation crew was very professional! Our project was completed earlier than promised, and we are very happy with the quality of the materials and the craftsmanship of the installers. Our new shower is beautiful! We are glad we chose Mad City.
My kitchen had plastic "faux tin" tiles that were glued over Formica. Anton's electrician Arkady did a masterful job of installing crisp, clean, varied, and dimmable lights, and then Vladimir was an artistic genius at removing the existing backsplash and installing the new tile. My kitchen now looks updated and beautiful. From Anton's guidance in selecting tile to seeing my beautiful completed kitchen, this refresh was smooth and easy
Norblom is fantastic. They arrived on time, did an awesome job on the install, and even beat their estimate. Quality of work is outstanding. Their plumbers are personable and anxious to help fix problems. This isn't the first time we have used them, nor will it be the last. Outstanding job and our new hot water heater works great
Snap Construction installed LP SmartSide siding on our house. Everything from start to finish went very well. Extremely happy with Dan our representative as well as the crew that did the installation. Snap Construction will be our first call for any future remodeling needs.
Our experience with TCSP was awesome and I recommend them very highly. We are very detail-oriented and picky people and were looking for a company that would provide the level of care and attention to detail that we demanded and we found that with TCSP. Chad was our salesman and right away from the first meeting with him I was impressed with the thoroughness of his presentation. We walked around the house and I asked him questions about how they would handle various areas and he answered all my questions patiently and completely. A few days later Chad came back to present us with our quote and he spent a couple hours walking us through their process and what we should expect. We liked hearing about TCSP's plan to handle any moldy or damaged wall boards that might be encountered. Chad also explained their process for flashing he joints to keep everything water tight. We came away from the presentation with the feeling that with TCSP we could be absolutely sure that the work would be done right and that there wouldn't be any corners cut. Chad was very easy to work with and prompt with returning our phone calls. Once we agreed to hire TCSP, Nate was assigned as our project manager. He was just as great to work with as Chad, and always easy to get a hold of via phone or email, even during evenings and weekends. Nate spent time with me walking around the house before the work started to make sure that we were on the same page. The work went very smoothly and took just under 3 weeks, exactly what I was told in the beginning. The crew worked at a steady pace and never seemed to rush through things. The quality of work looks great. The crew was friendly and did a good job of keeping the work site tidy. There were a couple items that came up during construction where things weren't done as expected, however Nate and TCSP took care of all of these and fixed them as soon as I brought them up. These type of items would happen with any contractor on any major project, but the way that TCSP went out of their way to rectify these situations is where I think TCSP really shined and showed their dedication to their customers. For example, the wrong size light mounts were installed in some locations due to a miscommunication regarding the size of new lights that would be installed. I pointed this out to Nate when I noticed it and by the next day the mounts had been replaced with the proper size mounts and the re-work looked completely seamless. I am extremely happy with how easy it was to work with Nate and TCSP. Overall, I recommend TCSP very highly. To be fair, their price came in a little higher than other quotes we received, but the piece of mind that we got from working with TCSP made it worth every penny and I honestly don't think the quality of work would have been as good out of any other company. We are convinced that our siding was done right and will function properly for years to come
They ultimately were very flexible with us in getting to a lower price point than the original quote and we appreciated that. I would recommend that customers determine their budget and have an open discussion with Pronto about that. We found Pronto to be flexible on price but you have to find the blend of budget/scope to your project. We were happy to make a deal work with Pronto. We also appreciated Pronto's 0% financing program offer. We also really appreciated Kurt's professionalism throughout the process and the installers were also very professional. They were very technically sound and friendly on the installation day. They did a great job with the electrical work to move our thermostat to the main living level. We had a complicated mechanicals situation and they made some significant improvements to our HVAC. It was a smooth installation process, and we would recommend Pronto to others; they won't be your cheapest option, but Pronto does HVAC installations very well. We haven't received our rebate forms yet, but are confident that we can get that worked out. Thanks Pronto for a great install and a great HVAC system! Our favorite part is the Wifi programmable thermostat
Fabulous! They were wonderful to work with. Their workmanship was superb! They have a construction calendar on line that we had access to, so we were always aware of their daily schedule. The crew were a really nice group of gentlemen. Always polite and it was apparent they enjoy working together. We added on a couple items elsewhere in the house and they made the time to get those jobs done too. The end result was better than we had even dreamed of. I'd hire them back and refer them to others
Sela Roofing and Remodeling was a very professional company to have do our roof replacement. From the very first phone call we could tell that Sela was eager for our business and after the estimate Sela guided us to secure the financing we needed for our roof replacement and the payments were well within our budget constraints. The workmanship was remarkable and soon after the roof work was completed you couldn't even tell they were on our property as the cleanup was top notch. We are recommending Sela to friends and family who need roof or remodeling work done, so we most certainly recommend Sela to you as well
I had a tricky problem with ice dams as a result of a poorly designed HVAC (flex duct in the attic) and inadequate batt insulation & ventilation. I used Houle to seal the flex duct with spray foam and re-insulate the attic space. I am happy to say I am ice dam free and would highly recommend them. There were the only provider from which I received estimates from that took the time to listen to my concerns along with the extensive research I did beforehand. They also carefully measured & quoted the job. Unlike others which went like this: peak up in the attic, eyeball the sq. footage and quote the job. I also requested to be able to "inspect" the job at each stage. No problem. The did the job on schedule and cleaned-up after themselves. I'm sure it wasn't the tightest attic space they've worked in but I was impressed with their tenacity in getting in spaces I'm sure others said they could not. Finally, it was necessary to turn a small knee wall space into a "hot room" to completely enclosed in spray foam. This was not included in my estimate but the work was done without an additional charge
Really a completely fantastic experience - we needed our hardwood floors refinished and when Kurt came over to check the floors out and create a quote, we mentioned all the other work we needed done. To our surprise, his team could perform all of the work we needed done. This included hardwood floor refinishing, demo work on a bathroom, installation of granite counters, installation of tub and complete tile work on walls and floor, installation of bathroom hardware/lights/shower door, as well as enameling cabinetry in 2 bathrooms. The team was always on time, professional and very careful of our beautiful new floors and carpets. We would absolutely hire Kurt and his team again
The experience went well. The team of two arrived early and were ready to get started as soon as I was able to let them. The punctual arrival was appreciated. They offered to do an official count on the windows and blinds to verify the estimates I provided before getting started to ensure no surprises. I declined given I felt good about my count based on the website description of how they count windows. Since living in the house 8 years, we had only cleaned some of the windows and blinds randomly as needed or as could be reached. They were in desparate need of cleaning especially the blinds. One person began to clean the outside windows and the other began to clean the blinds. Shoes were taken off in the house and the crew was professional and polite during the entire process. We had a total of 74 blind sections cleaned - $185 plus tax which is around $2.5 per section. A section is considered the vertical portion of blind between the edge and string that holds the blinds together or string to string on the inner sections. Most of our blinds had 4 sections to them so ended up at around $10 per blind. See details on the website as it is clearly spelled out on how to calculate the cost. The blinds were cleaned well with each individual wood piece cleaned and wiped down separately. About the time the person inside the house had finished the top floor and main floor, the exterior cleaning person came inside and started the inside windows. The interior guy finished the blinds in the basement and proceeded to clean a chandelier in our entry way that was difficult to reach without a latter. He also changed out the light bulbs at our request. The cost to clean the chandelier was $40 and well worth it. About the time he finished up that task, the other worker finished the interior windows. They did an inspection and touched up a few spots on the outside. The also put all of the blinds back down, inserted all of the screens which had also been cleaned and re-installed the inner wood decorative frames along the way. We had 59 total windows cleaned which is the includes the inside and outside or approximately 30 total windows. The cost for the windows was $285. The overall experience went well. The crew was professional and polite during the process. I would use them again. The goal is not to wait so long next time and hopefully have them out 1X per year going forward
We had a very good experience with Sandau Construction. John Kraiman met with us multiple times when we were looking at options and choosing product and Tom/Shane communicated well and were prompt in arriving at our house the day of tear out and installation. Based on our experience we'd recommend using this company

What do customers in Saint Paul say about Chandelier Installation?
I was installing some flush mount lighting and came across a light fixture where I needed to flip two circuit breakers to silence my circuit tester. This seemed odd so I called Jeff. He was able to fit me in that afternoon and arrived on time. The problem turned out to be with my tester - false positives. He explained why I was having the problem with the tester and installed the light. He discounted my bill some. I appreciated the information and gained some useful knowledge. I will call Jeff to install a chandelier when I figure out what I want.
