Horrible. Worst experience I've ever had with a plumber. They charged $475+ to repair a toilet and give me an estimate on the rest. When I called Mike the general manager all he wanted was to talk about it from his company's perspective. Hilarious.

There are 2 sides to every story. Customer contacted Norblom by phone to schedule appointment to look at several items. We provided rates over phone in addition to sending confirmation electronically including rates. The Plumber arrived & did some work and some investigation, all while the customer was asking questions and adding things to look at. Overall time spent was 2:15. Plumber presented the final invoice & customer PAID THE INVOICE. The next day the customer calls to rave about the Plumber but was not happy about the price. The customer believed this was a "sales call" & was expecting this to be a free visit. Why did he pay the Plumber? We attempted to explain that this was setup as a service call. (we don’t do “Sales Calls”.) This was a very one-sided conversation with the customer repeating himself over & over. Despite explaining that this was quoted as a service call & they were advised of costs in TWO instances, the customer dissented. We asked asked what he was looking for? This is when the customer threw out that he was going to spend $10,000 with us depending on the outcome of this discussion. Again, what is that you want? He said we should know by now. We asked to be candid & he agreed. We explained that he was not being reasonable that this was a service call and was not a sales call. We were at a point that we were willing to offer something when the customer started swearing and making threats. (apparently only he could be candid and we could not) We determined that we can’t make the customer happy regardless of what he wanted. We were prepared to discount entire amount as a credit towards his "$10,000" that he claimed he wanted to spend with us. We are family operated business since 1923. We want happy customers! In 98 years, we have earned trust of many customers. We’ve learned that everyone has a different perception of customer service. It saddens us, but this customer was one of the rare customers that we could not make happy. #NOTHILARIOUSJoanne O.

Norblom has consistently provided excellent service at very good rates. The technicians go out of their way to ensure the job is done correctly. They have an eye for little details and make sure the finished work is perfect. Just to throw on a little more praise, they are timely and clean up after the job is done.

Everything went great. In attempting to replace the hoses connecting my washing machine I discovered that my shutoff valves did not completely shut the water off. I was able to get a plumber out first thing the next day. He showed up on time and quickly fixed my problem. Great service.

Excellent. Jake tackled each job quickly and efficiently. I have used Norblom for all of my plumbing needs at my 1911 Minneapolis duplex. They are always professional, arrive on-time, priced fairly, and work diligently to fix all my old-house repairs.

Good. Since the faucet would not leak while Kurt was here, he advised us to replace it at some future point if the leak re-emerged, rather than do any further diagnosis during this trip. He determined the slow sink drainage to be gunk buildup and showed me how to remove the stopper and adjust settings. Toilet works again after malfunctioning parts were replaced.

Promptly arrived, got to work immediately, efficiently did the install and added some replacement pipe that needed to be replaced. They did a great job, would use them again... They even suggested I get the disposal as I would save money over them providing it, so I got a 3/4 motor for 119 instead of a 160 dollar 1/2 motor that they would have supplied. They did tell me they would not take my old one away, which was fine with me, but the plumber did end up taking it with him. I could have marked the price a B, but let's face it, these guys all cost a lot of dough to come out and work at your house on a call, no one is cheap anymore. This is something I could have done myself, but at 65 I really hate being under a sink, so money well spent...

Phone receptionist was friendly and efficient and able to schedule call for next day. She clarified pricing schedule, so that I knew about what to expect, depending on what was found. We had a couple of problems re leaking and poor hot water pressure. Plumber Kris did an excellent job in terms of diagnosing the problems, which were worse than I suspected, and fixing them. He conferred with me on each step re options/choices. Price was about what I anticipated.

Norblom Plumbing is by far one of the best contractors I've ever hired! They were extremely helpful providing information on various purchase options and then fit me into their schedule for the next day. The plumber was professional, quick, and careful. Price was very competitive. I will only use Norblom in the future! NOTE: I've had consistently bad luck hiring competent plumbers (and I always use Angie's List companies rated A). I found Home Depot and Lowes subcontractors send unlicensed, unsupervised guys - even though their website guarantees only licensed plumbers are used. ALWAYS VERIFY THEIR LICENSE on Minnesota Dept. of Labor and Industry "License Lookup" web site and report them to the State if they scam you.

I had Norblom out to my home to deal with a somewhat complex issue in my basement. I was very happy with the work done; however, there was a billing mix up in the amount of about $600. Once I contacted the office to follow up they were very helpful and were able to refund the overage in about a week. This is the second time I've used the company, their plumbers have done a good job both times and I was very happy with the service I received from the office, especially considering they were sending several hundred dollars back to me.

Noticed a water leak Sunday evening and left a message with Norblom Plumbing. Got a call early the next morning was told they had a cancellation. Were able to fit me in and was able to get new hot water heater by Monday AM. Less than 24 hours of having the problem! The price they provided was fair, and cheaper than other plumbers. Provided explanation of types and brands of water heaters I could choose. And walked me through the whole process over the phone. Then, called when the plumber was on the way. And the plumber was AMAZING and switching out my hot water heater. Made it look quick and easy! An A+ experience overall. Will definitely hire again for any future plumbing needs.
