We had a big project and Roly Construction came in, did the job well, were flexible when new problems arose, and were easy to deal with. Roly and his crew had to navigate three owners, and tenants. They did so respectfully and professionally. Roly walked us through what needed to be done, explaining every step of the way. He is honest and thorough, and takes pride in his work. Bay Metro did a good job to upgrade my 80yr old kitchen to current requirements.
They helped to keep the cost down and accommodated my quirks.
When surprises popped up, which is to be expected when you open up walls in these old buildings, they were good at explaining the situation and providing options.
Nothing is perfect, but they came close.

I had an old bathroom with a jetted tub. I wanted to gut the room and the contractor worked with me within my budget. His crew was always on the job, courteous and took the time to ask when they had a question. Also, the contractor helped me when I was uncertain about something. Alexis and his crew of workers from Durable1Construction were very professional and easy to deal with. I found then very friendly and attentive. They did the huge job of framing my new house and then I was happy to give then the job to do the roof, which turned out beautifully. After interviewing several contractors to remodel our two upstairs bathrooms and not being very happy with them, I came across Mr. Build. Within moments of meeting Ami Gilad My wife and I felt very comfortable with him. He understood exactly what we wanted and had some excellent ideas on how to accomplish them. His bid, while not the lowest we received, was very competitive. He estimated that the project would take three weeks and despite some delays caused by the building inspector not showing up when scheduled, managed to finish in less than four weeks. His workers were very professional and unlike some other contractors we have had in the past, were there every day. They took great care to lay runners every day to protect our flooring and to remove them at the end of the day. They even put a port-a-potty in the yard for the workers.
Ami went with us to the plumbing supply house and was very helpful in picking out bathroom fixtures. He also went with us to pick out tile for the showers and floors. He was very generous with his time, never rushing us and making helpful suggestions.
The final product exceeded our expectations and we could not be happier with our new bathrooms. Even the building inspector, during his final inspection, said it was an outstanding job and that he would recommend Mr. Build to anyone. He was amazed that they finished as fast as they did.
