They were much more affordable than other quotes I recieved and even got the job done a full day earlier than expected! He discussed every aspect of the jobs and options and varying expenses, provided estimates which my home insurance agent said were exactly the type they like to receive. His crews were on time, worked all day, cleaned up and removed all debris.Sheet rock in the garage ceiling and wet insulation were removed and the spaces were allowed to dry. Damaged carpet was removed for the floor to dry. Carpet under the vanity and in the walk-in closet was replaced with tile which we selected with Mr. Rubio, and he provided samples to choose from for replacing the rest of the carpet in the master bedroom. He always responded to texts and questions promptly and checked on the progress regularly. The jobs were finished ahead of the original conservative time estimate and he worked to accommodate our schedules. The jobs were also finished on the projected estimates

When I first called him to meet and talk about my project, he called me back immediately and showed up shortly thereafter to meet us. We discussed what we wanted to do with the bathroom and Robert offered me 3 different floor plans for the bathroom within a week or two. We decided on the plan we wanted. He set up a payment plan and the terms were clear cut in the contract we signed. We started the project about a month or two later as he had other projects, but we kept in touch during that time and planned the design aspects of the Bathroom. This was another great plus of Robert. He is a fabulous designer and I felt that he was able to see the finished project in design terms which was a great help. He went with us to look at and order vanities, mirrors, lighting, toilets, flooring, and showed us work he had done previously. This was so helpful as I chose what I wanted with his input but he never pushed me in any particular direction. He offered his opinions but never was he pushy. I don't think of design as my strong area so this was so helpful. Previous contractors have sent me out with a list of things to buy and Robert's way of doing design was so much more interactive. I always felt like it was a joint project and he took pride in doing a good design job as well. When the work began, it was very organized. His workers were great and very professional and easy to be around. Work began daily at 8 am and ended at 4:30. He always had one of his managers on the job site and they communicated with Robert. Robert checked the work frequently and if anything was wrong, it was done over right no matter how small the detail was. The work was organized very well - for example the demolition team came in on certain days, then the tile team, then the floor team, plumbing team, etc. It was all very well coordinated. I really think the whole project was a positive experience. In fact, as Robert was working I found more work for him to do in other rooms such as install some new lighting, electrical outlets, ac units and plumbing(re-route water drainage pipes to outside from water heaters) . His additional pricing was very fair and I was pleased with that work as well. Robert and his team does things well and I am very happy that I chose this contractor. Robert also went beyond what he needed to do. When we had a rain/hail storm in El Paso, he checked my roof to make sure there was no damage to it. Great customer service

Phillips Hoover was prompt about setting up a visit for an estimate, and the pricing on their proposal was in line with costs I had researched for such a project. Still, I figured that price would increase substantially before it was all said and done, because of the problems that always pop up when working on a 100-year-old home. Robert Phillips (who handles the remodeling side of the business), however, did a fantastic job anticipating what would need to be done and working with me to keep costs down wherever we could. The work itself turned out great. I had some notions about how I wanted the kitchen to look and operate, but Robert took our discussions and ran with them. He and his team came up with great solutions for the limited space, and his idea to accentuate the fact that the kitchen had been extended by using a faux brick and wooden beam along the remnants of the old exterior turned an unsightly vestige into the centerpiece of the kitchen -- and now it holds the whole room together. Throughout the job, Phillips Hoover really respected the character of the home, worked hard to incorporate my ideas and offered great suggestions along the way. Robert's engagement in the project and passion for his work has been extraordinary in my experience with contractors. The project took a few weeks longer than originally anticipated for reasons outside Phillips Hoover's control, but Robert and his crew kept me continually updated on the progress and delays and worked hard to make up lost time. I have several other improvements I'd like to make to the house in the coming years, and I will definitely be calling Phillips Hoover to help out

"The sales representative came and did a through free estimation. The work was done the next week efficiently. The workers were respectful and communicative. The sales person came back the day after the day of completion to check the work, take photos, and receive the final payment. I won't know the quality of the work until if anything happens, but everything went pretty well so far. They say the 5% coupon from Angie List can be applied (reimbursed) after I write the review though, which is a bit odd. Their price is not the best even compare to some named competitors. I hope they work live up to the price.

"Mr. Pena answered my initial call himself and promptly came to my house to provide a free estimate for tile work. Despite his hectic schedule, he arrived at my house as promised, measured the 3 rooms I wanted tiled, and sat down with me to write a detailed estimate which offered a very good price for the work to be done. He was very courteous and professional. He then met with me at a local tile store and helped me to select quality tile for my house, and arranged himself to estimate how much tile and grout I would need, and he brought it all to my house with his crew a couple of days after.
<br /> He arrived with his crew to supervise the beginning of the job, and his men were also very courteous and professional. On difficult flooring conditions, they did an excellent job installing tile and borders, completely transforming my run down kitchen, pantry, and laundry room into something beautiful. They arrived at the job and finished the job on schedule, and his men even helped me with a couple of odd jobs around the house for no fee!
<br /> Mr. Pena returned and inspect the job, and to go over the details of the work and the billing once more. He stuck to the original estimate, and refunded money for tile that was not used and for some of the labor (ripping up old tiles) I did myself to save some money.
<br /> All in all, Pena's Tile and Installation did a superb job on my house and were very pleasant to deal with, and I highly recommend Jose Pena and his company for professional and affordable tile work in your own home!

"Torres Construction LLC was referred by a neighbor here in Port St. Joe Beach, Fl. After contacting Mr. Torres a meeting time was set for the following day. Mr. Torres arrived promptly, he was courteous and he came prepared to discuss the outdoor patio shower. First, he listened to our ideas and answered our questions regarding the design and materials available. He then showed pictures of outside showers he had constructed in our area and guided us on the preferred materials for a beach area. After deciding the type shower we liked, he then prepared a quite reasonable and acceptable estimate. Surprisingly, he was prepared to begin the project the next day. The quality and craftsmanship in the finished shower were excellent. In fact, his company will now begin on our kitchen renovation and interior painting projects.
