He was on time and gave a very thorough description of what he recommended to correct the issues in the master bathroom, as well as the two walls in the master bedroom. All issues were remedied in about a week, which was unbelievable considering the months it took our other, less efficient contactor. Chris also suggested other improvements along the way, such as removing exposed wiring to a fan on the ceiling in the master bedroom and the popcorn ceiling along with it. All in all, we were very impressed with how quickly and professionally the work was completed along with the fair price that was charged in return! We would definitely hire Chris and his crew from ADREC again
- Grove & Anderson Co.My original contractor actually subcontracted to Grove & Anderson. Abraham Grove handled our requests professionally and timely. We requested a significant rework on the new closet after I noticed that the wall did not line up with the ceiling beams the way that I wanted. This was after the dry wall was installed. It was no one's fault, but he was more than happy to fix the problem, which involved at least half-a-days work. Although it was mainly one guy working on the job, the project progressed quickly; about two weeks total. About a week into it, I got a little concerned that the project was going to take longer than expected . G&A provided a project plan that outlined all the tasks for the following week, and made sure everything was done as scheduled. A change order that I requested threatened the schedule, however, he agreed to work on the weekend to accommodate our needs. Throughout the project the rest of the house was kept clean. Plastic was hung over entry ways to keep dust to a minimum in other rooms; and there was a lot, especially when removing the popcorn ceiling. My wife and I are very happy with the way everything turned out. Abraham was pleasant to work with and the overall quality and price were great. FYI - I called nine other contractors. Out of the eight that showed up and the five that gave me quotes, G&A was the best by a significant amount, even though he was a sub. I would hire G&A again without hesitation

- CSS ConstructionAlmost two years ago this company replaced my whole roof which had been hail damaged, repaired the ceiling in my office which had been leaking, and worked on leaking gutters. We had three separate leaking areas with the first big rain after the roof replacement. These three areas had been sources of leaks prior to the new roof and even dating back to a roof put on in 1990. Luckily, only the leak in the garage created a stain and ruined the ceiling inside a closet. CSS was informed immediately and sent people out to fix the leaking places with additional material we suggested from our prior experience and those areas do not leak anymore. However, I did not want to rush to repair the garage and closet until I had time to be here. CSS came back last month, fixed the job for NO COST on my part and fixed the wallboard between my garage door for the $150 charge listed above. The company is very professional, their workpeople clean up their messes and put my garage in order without any input on my part. I'm very impressed!

- Charlies Home ImprovementsHorrible. It’s been months since he and his team of children did work at my home and it seems like every couple of months I’m having to redo Carlos Sotelos poor work. From electrical to plumbing to the tile work you could not be more disappointed. Do not waste your time and money with this man. He takes no pride in his work. The electrical work could have caused my house to have a fire and his plumbing resulted in months of water leaking causing water damage and mold. My floors are uneven and my doors do not shut properly. I could not have been more disappointed the communication received and the ending results

"The job went great. Quality Roofing was very responsive and evaluated potential root causes of the leak. They kept the scope of the work defined to the problem area (chimney) and did not try to “big job” the leak and say I needed a whole new roof. I tested the repairs with a water hose and it looks like the repair solved the problem.

"Torres Construction LLC was referred by a neighbor here in Port St. Joe Beach, Fl. After contacting Mr. Torres a meeting time was set for the following day. Mr. Torres arrived promptly, he was courteous and he came prepared to discuss the outdoor patio shower. First, he listened to our ideas and answered our questions regarding the design and materials available. He then showed pictures of outside showers he had constructed in our area and guided us on the preferred materials for a beach area. After deciding the type shower we liked, he then prepared a quite reasonable and acceptable estimate. Surprisingly, he was prepared to begin the project the next day. The quality and craftsmanship in the finished shower were excellent. In fact, his company will now begin on our kitchen renovation and interior painting projects. "I cannot say enough how highly I value this builder Robert Phillips. When I first called him to meet and talk about my project, he called me back immediately and showed up shortly thereafter to meet us. We discussed what we wanted to do with the bathroom and Robert offered me 3 different floor plans for the bathroom within a week or two. We decided on the plan we wanted. He set up a payment plan and the terms were clear cut in the contract we signed. We started the project about a month or two later as he had other projects, but we kept in touch during that time and planned the design aspects of the Bathroom. This was another great plus of Robert. He is a fabulous designer and I felt that he was able to see the finished project in design terms which was a great help. He went with us to look at and order vanities, mirrors, lighting, toilets, flooring, and showed us work he had done previously. This was so helpful as I chose what I wanted with his input but he never pushed me in any particular direction. He offered his opinions but never was he pushy. I don't think of design as my strong area so this was so helpful. Previous contractors have sent me out with a list of things to buy and Robert's way of doing design was so much more interactive. I always felt like it was a joint project and he took pride in doing a good design job as well. When the work began, it was very organized. His workers were great and very professional and easy to be around. Work began daily at 8 am and ended at 4:30. He always had one of his managers on the job site and they communicated with Robert. Robert checked the work frequently and if anything was wrong, it was done over right no matter how small the detail was. The work was organized very well - for example the demolition team came in on certain days, then the tile team, then the floor team, plumbing team, etc. It was all very well coordinated. I really think the whole project was a positive experience. In fact, as Robert was working I found more work for him to do in other rooms such as install some new lighting, electrical outlets, ac units and plumbing(re-route water drainage pipes to outside from water heaters) . His additional pricing was very fair and I was pleased with that work as well. Robert and his team does things well and I am very happy that I chose this contractor. Robert also went beyond what he needed to do. When we had a rain/hail storm in El Paso, he checked my roof to make sure there was no damage to it. Great customer service.

Since I was paying out of pocket and with a check, work got started almost immediately. They're not cheap, and they'll tell you that, but I have to agree that the work that was performed was exceptional. John walked us through everything.
