Indianapolis Dog Door Installation

I called glass guru because I had been looking everywhere for a place that would install a doggy door in the glass of my back door and my mom had heard they did. From the minute I spoke with Sue to schedule an appointment, to the completion of the job....everyone was courteous friendly and professional. Mitch came to my house, took measurements, and in and out in a jiffy! After the glass was cut and my door came in they called to set an install date. They arrived on time and gave a curtesy call on their way. They came across a few challenges with a few things along their way but never lost their cool and remained friendly. Overall, if i ever have any need for their services they will be the first one I call. Thank you glass guru from me and my happy pups.

It took a while for me to set up an appointment with Gary because of my work & travel schedules, but Gary was patient with the number of times I had to post pone the estimate visit. Once we had dates and I had selected the dog door I wanted, the door was prepped and the pet door went in. Everything is level and secure. Last winter there was a leak in the ceiling above my kitchen. There was a horrible stain that refused to be covered by the water based KILZ, so Gary and I went to the local DIY store and purchased oil based KILZ and he finished painting. It looks good. I was worried about paint dripping on my counters or stainless appliances-but he used appropriate prep/cover materials & much better paint brushes than I ever use. He does a great job around the edging & where walls & ceilings meet. That is what separates Gary from the rest, his attention to detail and creativity. He was the lead on my kitchen remodel several years ago and I still enjoy showing it off.

MR. KING INSTALLED A DOOR IN THE GARAGE AND ONE FROM THE GARAGE TO THE FOYER. A'S IN ALL CATEGORIES, PARTICULARLY PRICE. AGGIE, (THE CAT) HOWEVER, GETS A D. SHE WILL COME IN BY WAY OF THE PET DOOR BUT PESTERS TO GO OUT UNTIL I GET UP AND OPEN THE FRONT DOOR SO SHE CAN WALK OUT LIKE THE QUEEN SHE THINKS SHE IS. THE PRICE INCLUDED TWO TRIPS TO THE STORE, FIRST FOR PRICING THEN FOR ACTUAL BUYING. MY GARAGE DOOR IS METAL SO THAT WAS MORE THAN JUST CUTTING THROUGH WOOD AND MY DOOR FROM GARAGE TO FOYER IS METAL CLAD - AGAIN A DIFFICULT AND LONGER PROCESS. MR. KING COMPLETED THE WORK IN ABOUT TWO HOURS AT MY HOUSE ALTHOUGH THE TRIPS TO THE STORE MUST HAVE TAKEN ALMOST AS MUCH TIME, AS WELL.

Things went smooth with these guys. They installed two doggy doors for my Rottweilers on our sunroom addition. We then had them finish a lofted cabin we use as an in-law quarters. They have excellent craftsmanship. I’d put these guys up against anybody!

HE IS ALWAYS ON TIME, WORKS VERY EFFICIENTLY. THIS IS MY SECOND TIME USING HIM AND BOTH TIMES HAS WORKED OUT VERY WELL.

Very pleasant on the phone and offered to come out the next day. The visit for the quote also went well - he was on time and seemed professional and pleasant. However, he promised to email us a quote in a couple days and 3 weeks later, we still hadn't heard anything. So I called the company and they said they would look into it, and did get an email and quote later that day, however it was missing one of our requested items and didn't have much detail about the items. When inquired about the missing item, he did respond promptly and this time was apologetic for the delay, but at this point, we were feeling a little bit uncertain about the service, and we requested further details on the project (pictures of items to be installed, time frame) and we haven't heard back since. That was almost 2 weeks ago, so we've been waiting over a month before we've even thought about starting. I hate to judge an entire company based on this limited interaction, but we were disappointed in the process and wanted to share our experience.

I bought an Angie's List 'Big Deal' for $99 for three man hours of drywall repair. I called and made an appointment for Dave to come out and look at the job. He was very punctual and looked at all the repairs needed and I also needed a special project for him to give me a quote on. I had extra drywall work done in the living room which was quoted at $320 with a ten percent off for being an Angie's List member. Dave did an excellent job, he was very knowledgable and friendly and even gave me a few tips on drywall work. I am very pleased with all the work done and would hire them again!

We were very pleased with the door. It has a nice quality. The installer was neat, courteous and prompt. We would recommend this company.

They did a great job and I would recommend them to anyone. They do quality work and show great concern for their customers needs.

What a pleasure... Marc is great. Nice work, detail oriented, and easy to get along with. I plan on using Hoosier Handyman for any and all of my upcoming projects.

It went well. He cleaned up after himself and didn't take that long. He was on time and no problems at all.

Dan Barksdale is one of the nicest, helpful, and experienced handymen we've ever met. He was punctual, funny, and polite. He finished the insulation and dry wall in our garage, where the home builder stopped. He was nice enough to arrange all the cords and cables in the garage walls into one location and secured them on a board. He did not charge us for that and asked if we wanted that done before he went to do it. He also installed a pet door for us. His work in the garage was better than what the builder did. We highly recommend him. Mr. Barksdale also installed a storm door for us on the front door. He completed it and then made sure the tension on the door was at the correct level so the door wouldn't slam shut.

Barry was great. He was very responsive and we exchanged several messages in the days leading up to our appointment. He was very friendly and helpful, which made our move into a new house much less stressful. He gave an estimate for the work before starting, and then he charged the same amount even though he ended up having to stay from about 8 am to 8 pm, much longer than we expected. (We gave him a little extra for his effort!)

WE WANTED SOME PET DOORS INSTALLED, BUT TERRY READILY AGREED THAT HE WAS UNABLE TO PERFORM THE WORK DESCRIBED. WE APPRECIATED HIS HONEST EVALUATION ABOUT THE LIMIT OF HIS ABILITIES.
