Given the supply and labor issues everyone is facing, I can understand. It was just disappointing. I wish they would have said 10-16 weeks instead of 8-10 then my expectations wouldn’t have been so high. They replaced my blinds no problem and my patio screens are great. The installers were very professional and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend them, just don’t be in a rush

- America's Best Patio RoomsOur new porch is gorgeous and super high quality! Seriously, compared to most screen porches I've seen around here, ours looks like an addition or really that it was built with the house instead of pasted on later. This is especially impressive considering our house siding was discontinued, and he was able to find a nearly identical match, which if he hadn't pointed out wasn't exact I couldn't have told you. We started getting estimates last fall in hopes of finishing by this spring and ended up a little delayed to start, but they finished in April after a little over 3 weeks work. Lumber prices had already climbed a ton when we got the estimate, but the owner, Austin, was able to give us ideas and suggestions we hadn't even considered on how we could maximize our space, make it work for our family and get close to our original $30K budget. We ended up finishing it to a level we could come back and add windows to make it a 3-season-room later on, so we already have things wired and insulation etc. in place. And with screen panels that are easy to replace if our kids or dogs poke a hole in them, a knee wall with beadboard, and a dog door to keep them from running into the porch edges, it's going to hold up much better to our family than the basic screen porch at our previous house. All in all, it's beautiful and we can't wait to enjoy it this spring, summer and fall

"We needed our home updated in preparation to sell after having the same renters in it for 13 years. (Not a great situation for upkeep.) Before deciding on Custom Home Medic, we received one other estimate from a contractor recommended by our realtor which was the same cost but did not include any upgrades, only repairs. It was very general whereas Custom Home Medic was very specific & transparent in itemizing costs. We replaced bathroom flooring (4 baths), replaced kitchen countertop (tile) with granite, & added a backsplash. All interior doors and hardware were changed as well as upgraded light fixtures, MB windows replaced, new basement carpeting, paint throughout including baseboards & many misc repairs. We were well-informed about the progress and about minor cost adjustments which were all made within budget. All work was completed within the time frame expected and our house sold the first day on the market for more than our asking price. "It went extremely well. The installers were very professional. They made sure everything was done correctly. If a problem was found, they made it right! Our house is older and they made sure it was fixed appropriately. Dave, the owner communicated at each step and kept us informed and updated. "Luis did a wonderful job for us on very short notice. Water damage was found during a home inspection caused by a poor tile job on a master walk-in shower. Luis managed to squeeze in the work and get it done prior to a closing deadline. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and paid attention to all the little details that lead to a job well done. "I hired Spivey for my master bath remodel. It was pretty much a full redo – floors, closet, new tub/shower combo, tile, shelving, plumbing moved…. I love the results! They were not the cheapest estimate I received, but all three estimates were in the same ballpark, and their designer – Joe – really sold me on Spivey.
