We turned our worn, outdated master bathroom over to KG Construction for a couple of weeks and they gave us back the bathroom we had always wanted. Ovi with KG Construction is very professional and provided a detailed proposal, helpful suggestions, excellent work and was consistently on time. The work area was clean at the end of each day and our bedroom furniture and flooring was covered to protect it from the dust normally created with renovation. On a scale of 1-10, KG Construction would score a 10 for our bathroom renovation and we'll definitely hire them for future projects.

Mike did a phenomenal job on our bathroom renovation. Mike was extremely reliable, providing ongoing updates and prompt responses to questions throughout the process. Unlike most contractors, Mike preformed most of the work himself and was meticulous in each phase of the project. I appreciated the fact that Mike was extremely thoughtful in planning of each phase of the project to minimize any inconvenience to us and our daily routine. Mike is very neat and demonstrated regard for our home by prepping and cleaning up the work area each day. It was such a relief to know that the house would be in good condition when I returned home from work in the evening. The only problem I had with the entire project was the shower glass installation. Mike uses Tennessee Glass Co. and the glass enclosure is beautiful; however, the installers did not use protective covering on the floors and I noticed nicks in the hardwood after they completed the work. Mike had nothing to do with this issue and I did not initiate a complaint with the company. Other than that, we love our dream bathroom and would not hesitate to use Mike for future projects.

Our second renovation experience with Mike and again, he and his crew were professional, meticulous, and reliable as ever! We had the master bathroom renovated this time--the cost of Mike's services and materials was approximately $17,500. The total cost after considering materials and furnishings we provided was around $25,000. Mike provides excellent craftsmanship on nearly all aspects of the renovation, and excellent subcontractors for the aspects that he doesn't personally perform (painting and glass shower enclosure.) All phases usually stay on schedule, aside from those times where grout or other material need another day or two to dry. He's not going to rush it! Which is absolutely the way to do things. Mike makes sure everything is tidied up at the end of the day, respects the rest of the house, and can be trusted (as well as his helpers) to be left to work in the house alone. A major plus! If you are planning a renovation in the future, give Mike a call--I guarantee you will get a prompt and detailed estimate, and a fair price for services performed.

Great, except I messed up the original review for work in April 2015! I reached out to rehire and was told I had clicked 'NO REHIRE" on my original review. This was differently a mistake since I saved the contact number and did reach out for rehire. I did not recall doing a review but having my daughter search out an Angie's List account I was face to face with my review. My comments made no sense, I had given A's and was very pleased. No explanation for the no rehire checked box, just a mistake. If you have an opportunity to work with Will Hovey, please do so as he is very knowledgeable, professional and excellent in his work.

David Wilson Designs
David Wilson’s crew did a SUPERB job on our bathroom remodel! The job also included relocating an interior wall and rebuilding a closet in an adjacent room, which was all well within their expertise. They were happy to tackle the concrete floor tile we had picked out (which is more challenging to install) and built-in cabinets and shelving. They also had great ideas to prevent daily nuisances that we hadn’t anticipated. It’s so refreshing to work with a company who just wants to do the job right!!! One year later, everything is as solid as the day they left. We will definitely use them on future projects. 10/10!

Mr. Yarbrough provided a contract for a bathroom remodel that included all tile work and electrical to install a steam shower in our bathroom. I paid 50% deposit and then 2 other payments to include add on items without a promised invoice. After 5 months of requesting a final bill I received one . He had very little back up and No back up for subcontractors that I had already paid directly for my add owns.He refused to provide me with copies or to meet with me to discuss. I kept very good records. He tried to overcharge me by over $3000.00 . I proved by way of canceled checks proof of my payments. He never acknowledged or apologized for his very poor accounting practices. Instead he ignored my proof and began bad mouthing me all over our community. Not a professional way to do business's and very unprofessional behavior. The initial contract that was paid for the bathroom also included all cost to do our project. His work is sub par at best and is not consistent with his extremely high pricing. I DO NOT recommend this contractor.

We really enjoyed the experience with Jim and his crew. I have done a number of tile remodels in another state and have sone experience with this process. Jim really knows what he is doing and responded to my nit-picky concerns with interest and patience. We transformed a tub/shower alcove into a beautiful walk-in shower with a new bathroom floor. Our kitchen went from dark and drab to light and elegant. Every T was crossed and nothing left undone, all with a smile. Thanks, Jim!

Recent Review: When we purchased the house the bathroom was not only ugly, but had some severe mold smells. Me and my husband discussed calling several services. We found American Services of TN which was local and had fair pricing and we liked how the pictures look. They extended the bathroom and renovated it. I was shocked at how much better it looked and definitely smelled. When my parents came over they absolutely loved all the details in the tile work and the new stone tile shower and bathtub. Very, very happy and I will definitely use them again for any other jobs I need!
Recent Review: The project turned out great! Jim did a fantastic job of keeping me informed throughout the process and managed to beat the deadline by more than a week. We did have an issue with the toilet, but Jim found a solution without adding any additional costs! Overall we are extremely happy with the project and will high Contractors Group again when we finish our entire garage.

Super Service Award Recent Review: The contractor did an amazing job in three days. They were very professional. They made sure communication was delivered to me on the steps of re-modeling my bathroom. My bathroom was in terrible shape. I had removed some of the wall paper; but due to health issues, was unable to finish the rest. Also, when part of the wallpaper was initially removed, my wall was in bad shape. G&B made sure that all prep work was done and was ready for painting. I will definitely use them in the future and recommend them.
