Our inspector, Bryce, was thorough, gave us helpful insights, answered our many questions, and he has always gone up on the roof for us without being asked (even in cold Minnesota Winter!). The reports are helpful years down the line, link to practical articles on care for your home, and you get a lifetime-free homeowner subscription to a software that is incredibly useful. Jack Pixley Sweeps IncFrom start to finish this company met or exceeded my expectations and my needs. I made the initial contact via Angie's List. The company replied immediately to my query. Initially, I was disappointed that the first appointment I could get was six-weeks or so in the future. But about a week after that appointment was scheduled I called back and asked if there was any chance to move it up in time for the looming holidays. The woman on the other end of the phone was friendly and accommodating and eventually made it happen. The technician, Anton, arrived for the first of two appointments on time, he was courteous and wore his mask, he carefully explained the situation to me (the unite needed a new valve) and gave me an estimate for the cost of the repairs. A few weeks later he was back with the new valve and accomplished the job to my complete satisfaction. I would highly recommend this company AND Angie's list as the way to make the connection.- William M.

Country Creek Builders IncThese builders came as a recommendation from one of our neighbors and I’m so pleased we chose them. We did a number of home upgrades throughout our entire house which required much coordination in minimizing our disruption while leveraging service visits across several tasks. In addition, we needed work to be done so I could host Thanksgiving so there definitely was a drop dead date. This group shined. When you do a major remodel and choose to live in the house through it, many challenges arise. Our first day was demo-day. The path of plastic they built to minimize the dust was an architectural marvel. I felt like I was walking through a quarantine tunnel. Given they are in your house for several weeks, it was an incredibly professional crew. Friendly conversation, validating decisions, asking when new questions arise, working hard, and beautiful artistry of their skills were experienced each day. Changes in design were met with a can-do attitude (we decided to raise our shower head late in the game). When new options arose (new shelf in shower inset) they asked if we’d be interested. Scheduling was always coordinated with our need and one result was that we minimized our time out of the house when all of our hardwood floors were redone. This builder has exceptional relationships with cabinet makers, tile shops, and carpet and appliance stores which makes choosing options much easier. Because of those relationships we had top notch service in each store and all the help we needed in making the right choices. I can’t say enough about the positive experience and the process of this complex remodeling. Dan, Dave, Jesus, David, and Carlos, stop over anytime. Holmlund did a very good job. They provided a very clear proposal with pictures of the areas to be done and the associated pricing. They showed up on time, did good work and cleaned up afterward. A few years later we had an issue in one section, which they quickly resolved for us. Net, they were great and I would hire them again.

Mark of Arend Remodeling gave us great service. He is honest, and we found his estimates very accurate for the actual costs. His estimation of how long the project would take to complete was very accurate and he is highly reliable. He is clearly dedicated to quality and doing things with excellence and care. He works with good subcontractors, and made sure their work for us met our expectations. We recommend him highly and without any reservation. We would certainly hire him again (hope to have him return next year for a bathroom remodel!)

Our 1965 house had original windows that were in bad shape and needed replacement. After several bids we chose Twin Cities Home Remodeling, about mid-range in our budget. So glad we did!
