Public Health - Meaningful Use
The South Dakota Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (SD PDMP) fits the criteria to be a public health specialized registry for the Electronic Health Record (EHR) Meaningful Use Incentive Program. Therefore, the SD PDMP declares readiness to accept data as a specialized registry to improve public health outcomes. This will be accomplished through integration of Certified Electronic Health Record Technology (CEHRT) and the SD PDMP via PMP Gateway.
