The National Veterans Golden Age Games team is committed to Fitness for Life. To ensure every Veteran has an opportunity to register, we will hold two registrations for athletes.
For all divisions, open registration will be on March 23 at 2 p.m. ET using the NVGAG registration platform at https://eauth.va.gov/accessva/#.
An additional registration option is available for the Visually Impaired Division on March 21, starting at 2 p.m. ET by calling 833-560-1029.
We are asking that all Veterans please re-register for the event, so we know all sports selections are accurate and every athlete has a great experience at the NVGAG in Des Moines.
We will continue to work diligently to support our Veteran athletes and thank you all for your patience. See you in Des Moines!
Eligibility
The adaptive sports program is designed for Veterans whose current rehabilitation goals would benefit from the value of adaptive summer sports. Prior NVSSC events have served Veterans living with spinal cord injuries, amputations, visual impairments, neurological conditions, PTSD, burns, and TBI/Poly Trauma. NVSSC is open to all Veterans enrolled in VA health care. All applications are subject to review by the NVSSC Medical Director and NVSSC Director.
*Participation in the 2022 NVSSC does NOT guarantee eligibility for future NVSSC in-person events.
