thank you to the for featuring my poem today. this poem started with the phrase “gym shoes.” gym shoes carried me to out west and out south. & the poem unfolded around these small pieces of language that are little head nods to the people i love

The community of Fellows is super tight, but most have never met in person. Now, a group of them are raising funds to do so in March at a major writing conference, where they'd save expenses by sharing accommodations. The ask is modest. Please help if you can! 🙏
