Feels like we need a Twitter Files episode on what exactly is going on behind Twitter Files. Who requested the screenshots? Why was it deemed these accounts’ DMs were less private than others? If you want to claim transparency , then be transparent.

Correct. For security purposes, the screenshots requested came from me so we could ensure no PII was exposed. We did not give this access to reporters and no, reporters were not accessing user DMs.

In the late 90’s I occasionally spun records on the 107th floor. It was an awkward DJ set up, basically wedged in a location where I’d basically have to crawl under the decks to get in and out. The crowd was weather-dependent, rain meant locals, sun meant tourists. 1/2
