Linda is smart, she'll save you tons of time ("Oh I know what you're after, but this other brand is a better value for that..."). There is no substitute for experience and professionalism. Pioneer's customer network of designers, building owners, brokers and commercial accounts all love this company. Over 50 years ago, my parents bought their home appliances and carpet from Pioneer Home Supply. Linda's dad was a totally stand-up guy then, backing his products and installation 100%. These days, Pioneer is all about flooring (carpet and luxury vinyl tile) but wow - they do it better than anyone else. I double dog dare anyone to try to match them on price. You can't. And this family will take care of you better than any other salespeople on the planet

THE RUG EXPERT
Overall it went way better than I had anticipated. He worked with my need to have the job done that day, and I doubt if he made much on it. I paid $75 and was very pleased with the results. Would use him again. His actual specialty is rug and carpet cleaning, and he has three professional certifications in that area. I didn't need any cleaning done, but would certainly use him for that if needed. He does some "expert witness" work related to insurance claims also. This is a very small company! Just him. FYI, his business card lists ten related specialties: oriental rug cleaning, carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, carpet repair, color repair, commercial carpet, odor control, smoke damage repair, carpet inspection, water damage repair

They did everything right. The floor looks great. They were clean, punctual, polite. They had to install Karndean Flooring which is vinyl wood-like planks. It is used in a lot of commercial stores. Not everyone installs this. I am very happy with the job. Their price was lower than my other bids too

a new carpet and new linoleum in the small bathroom. They started off well by removing the old linoleum that the carpet was to now cover. They did this well and carefully. But, in the bathroom, the linoleum was so badly installed that they had to completely redo it. The pricing was very fair for work that was done. Unfortunately, I do not recall the cost. The most important part is they are first class. I have used their services for 20 years in my commercial and home settings. Throughout this time, I have purchased carpet from them and used their installation and repair services. They are certainly not the cheapest, but do offer competitive pricing. They do quality work. They are willing to respond to my requests if something was missed on a job or not to my satisfaction. Iused Gil a few years ago for my hardwood floors and when it came time to carpet the upstairs I would not even think about using anyone else. Gil's Hardwood operates the way businesses did way back when, you know when customers mattered, phones were answered by humans, service given with a smile and work done to perfection...the first time. Gil and his crew are highly professional, know their business and give 125%. These guys worked in the most extreme weather conditions to get the job done and somehow managed to keep a smile on their faces. They worked almost 12 hours...barely stopping to get the job done. I am in awe of their dedication, commitment and the fabulous job they did on my carpet install. This is not a fly by night business having "blow out sales" every week, nor a "big box" store that will not stand behind the product once installed, but a locally owned company that has been in business for many years in an out of the way location.
