Our oven is a Parkline wall oven, which was in the house when it was built in 1960. The pilot light was burning, but did not ignite the oven for us to bake. The serviceman (Ike) called earlier than the scheduled repair time, because he was running ahead of schedule, which worked fine for us. After checking it out, he cleaned the pilot light, the oven burner, and the burner orifice. He finally got it all working again, so that we can bake and roast, although for a while it looked like it might not be repairable. He carefully ran tests on the oven to make sure it was working properly. Because of the oven's age, Ike gave us advice about how to take care of it and discussed possibilities for future replacement, if needed. He went the extra mile in servicing an old oven and giving us helpful advice

Our upper wall oven element blew out and we researched and ordered a replacement element and watched videos on the internet of how to do it ourself. Even after feeling confident about doing it ourself the repair didnt go well only one side of the new element lit up. We thought for sure we needed to buy a new oven since ours was over 20 years old and now there was only 1 made that would go into the existing opening without modifying the cabinet that the oven sits in. UGH new appliance cabinet work etc $$$. We took a shot with the Archers at ARS and guess what they kept calling me back as I was hard to reach and they came out right away and installed the same new element that we had originally ordered to give it a try before we called it quits on our good old Jenn-Air oven. IT WORKED We had crossed a wire during the DIY installation of the element but he caught the problem and now it works just as good as new and for under $70 bucks how awsome. Thanks Angie thanks to ARS our retirement homeowner funds went a whole lot further on this project

The previously repaired wall oven broke down again on 12/26/13. There was no display on the panel. David looked at it on 12/27/13 and said there was one additional part that had not previously been fixed and he would order it. Two days after he left, the oven spontaneously beeped, displayed an E6 F2 error message and then went blank again. I phone David's office and left him a message about the error message. I wasn't sure if this was the same error message received on the past repair and, if it was, maybe the new part he put in was defective. I phoned Michelle on 1/6/14 to check on the status of the oven part and was told the part was on back order. Spontaneously, the error message displayed again and remained on for a hour or so and then the clock reappeared. Oven began to work again. Bizarre! Part came in and was installed on 1/7/14. I will be using the oven this weekend and hope to not have any additional problems

I called them up, they've come here before, and the technician was the same as last time. Nice guy. Looked at it, said it probably needed a thermostat but it might need a new motherboard too but we would start with the thermostat. He replaced it and it works fine. He's very professional and thorough. I don't feel like he's trying to make more than the call deserves

Repairman showed up promptly, diagnosed the problem with a little trial-and-error (since the problem could have been attributable to a few different parts). He didn't have the part on hand, but was able to get it delivered to the home office with a day. He returned the next day to install. Repair was fast and oven has worked well ever since. My only complaint is not with Lermans or the repairman, but rather with the outrageous price charged by Electrolux for the replacement heating element. Basically a curved wire in a piece of high-tech clay. The repairman was very sympathetic, but the price was the price, and there wasn't much he could do

I contacted the company late in the day on a Wednesday via the Angie's List email form. I was called first thing the next morning where we set an appointment for the following Saturday. I was willing to go an full week if necessary but they were able to accommodate me on my first available time which was Saturday morning. On Saturday morning during the expected time of arrival I got a courteous call from the technician Oleg. He wanted to confirm my address and gave me his exact arrival time. He then arrived right on schedule and went to work right away. Our in-wall oven/microwave combination unit was not functioning properly. The oven would not heat at all. My wife and I told him we want to replace our appliances in the next year or so concurrent with a kitchen remodel. We don't want to spend a lot on fixing something six years old that we want to replace in a year. Oleg pursued the classic troubleshooting process, working from easiest to hardest in order. He then identified the problem, a short in a relay on a board that was connected directly to the main control unit (the computer). He then proceeded to test his conclusion. It was proved. So he got out his soldering iron and fixed it. Just like that. I have NEVER had a service person actually fix the part on site. It's typically a new box of parts and lots of extra messing about. He fixed it on site with his very high level of knowledge and skill. Kudos to OLEG

Overall I was satisfied. The installer was very competent, and had all the materials he needed with him. He had to do some problem solving to fix problems left behind by a previous contractor who were supposed to install the oven and couldn't do it. One thing I did not like was that I also had called them about installing my gas cook top. I told the person on the phone exactly what I needed; i.e. that it was new construction (not a replacement) and that the installer would need to cut holes in the floor and exterior of the house to vent the cook top. She agreed to send someone out for an estimate. The installer took one look and said they don't do that kind of work because it involves construction. I was frustrated because the person setting the appointments didn't know this. The visit turned out okay because he was able to install my oven, but this did hold me up in getting my cook top installed. I gave the company a B in professionalism, but the installer himself gets an A

The cost to replace two knobs and clean BBQ was quite high and, unfortunately, the end result is not comparable to what is shown on website. Two different companies. You call BBQ doctor and another actually does the work (Major Home Appliance)

I paid $ 110.00 to have AG Appliance come to our home because our top open was simply going 'dead' when it either got too hot or at seemingly random times. A repairman came out on Tuesday, 9/7/22 and let me know that he needed to find a new control board and would get back to me quickly. Today, 10/3/22 I called AG Appliance Repair and was told that their 'technician' could find nothing wrong and, therefore, the case was closed. I repeated what he told me and stressed that there was obviously a problem or I would not have paid $ 110.00 for them to come out in the first place. AG Appliance Repair said I should get a second opinion -- in other words, find a REPUTABLE company that will do what they say they will do. I have never had something like this happen before but will certainly NEVER use AG Appliance Repair again. Either they are liars or incompetent -- or both. Do NOT use this company. I believe they are a scam

My machine is a Bosch and there aren't a lot of service providers compared to some other brands. Called them around noon on a Saturday and was told someone would be over between 4 and 6. Around 7 the guy shows, but figuring it's short notice, wasn't unhappy. Diagnosed the problem quickly and said they'd have the parts and fix it on Wednesday. Never heard from them about a time Wed so when I called, was told parts were delayed and they wound up fixing it a week later (although to fair, Christmas was in there). Repair appears to be working fine. Think you've got to stay on these guys but their work seems solid

My friend Sharon recommend this company. Our Wolf stove start acting up before hollydays.Repairman was on time within the 9 to 11 time that was provided to me by the customer service rep. They gave me expectations very clearly and were very honest about the outcome and what it might be. Unfortunately they weren't sure what was wrong they could only give me a pretty sure findings because of the fact that my Wolf oven didn't show the problem that I keep having. I liked the fact that I didn't feel like they were trying to charge me as much as possible. They were very honest about the fact that they weren't 100% certain this was the problem but that that they were pretty sure and they could repair it and see. Pricing was very clear and it didn't cost me a dime over what they told me it was going to cost. They gave me senior discount.I would use their services again for my appliances needs. Thank you

In my situation, that was okay - and I appreciated the phone call letting me know (rather than just not showing up.) So I docked a bit for punctuality, but gave credit for letting me know. Once the repairman arrived, he replaced the starter in my oven quickly and efficiently. In and out in about an hour. He quoted me an estimate of $220... $200 with Angie's List coupon. When I called to set up an appointment, Mr. Baker asked about the oven problems over the phone and set up appointment in the next days that met my schedule. Mr. Baker called the house the morning of the appointment and checked back twice by phone as to any alteration in his arrival time. This was very much appreciated. On arrival he ascertained the actual problem of my dual inset gas oven. He had brought the possible replacement oven parts with him. (This is a 25 year old Modern Maid oven!!) I didn't have to "wait for the part to be ordered"! Nice! Mr. Baker fixed the oven on the spot and checked the door seals, heating elements etc. I was very pleased with his work. And would certainly call him again for my other appliances..
