On Thursday, July 28th, LRD Risk Analysis Coordinator working in the Planning and Policy Division, Matt Shanks, was awarded the USACE National Flood Risk Management Program 2022 Silver Jackets Coordinator of the Year.
On Tuesday, Aug. 30, participants of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Louisville District’s Leadership Development Program celebrated their graduation alongside Great Lakes and Ohio River Division leadership, including Commander Brig. Gen. Kimberly Peeples.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Great Lakes and Ohio River Division Commander Col. Kimberly Peeples was promoted to the rank of brigadier general by the USACE Commanding General and 55th Chief of Engineers Lt. Gen. Scott Spellmon on July 8 at a ceremony in Covington, KY.
