  I recently remodeled my house and was sorely disappointed. I was a bit gun shy to try again, but changed my mind after being stuck ay home during the covid lockdown. I decided to find a new contractor, and was lucky enough to find Mark Besnos, the owner of Horizon Construction and Remodeling. Mark was able to make my vision a reality, which was no small task. He worked with my designer, Misti Riedel and I and had the patience of a saint. This time around, it was an enjoyable experience. I wake up every morning and walk out into the main living area with a big smile on my face. Before Mark remodeled, my place was so drab. I truly love my house and thank everyone for helping me

  Dylan Allee was great and took the time to show us all the possible issues that were wrong with our leak. He was very professional and on time which was great considering we have little ones.   Review of inspection and estimate bid process. This is a solid, honest, and professional company. Thank you to Ivan who came out to the property to assess a mainline leak by our sidewalk. He offered impeccable service and respect with understanding of my needs for plumbing repairs. All City came through with requested bids for both a 2 foot patch repair and a full water mainline replacement for several types of piping and methods. Ivan provided proper legal estimate contracts and scope of work details, responded promptly and courteously to all phone calls, emails and texts. As it turned out the County Public Works Department easily fixed the connector leak when repairing the sidewalk concrete and the mainline was confirmed as stable. The mainline had been replaced prior, unbeknownst to me. No extra repairs were needed. I definitely would have contracted All City to do this repair if it was necessary. Ivan is the best, very kind and polite as was the office staff and Dominic who booked the appointment. I’m glad All City is in the OC area! Thank you, it was a pleasure to interact with your company

  All work completed with 10 weeks from start to finish. Pier, unlike a lot of contractors, was here every day supervising the sub-contractors, inspecting the work and getting issues corrected, used nothing but outstanding, highly qualified, experienced subcontractors who all did superior work; he coordinated the various work schedules so that subcontractors were here when necessary to keep the project moving. Pier did a lot of work himself as well. 100% satisfied

  While I was painting behind my stove I bent down next to the gas line and actually felt air blowing from a hole in the line onto my cheek--but the air was natural gas. I knew I had smelled some gas, but I kept assuming it was the pilot light. Nope, it was a huge leak in the gas line. No wonder I felt light-headed. I called So Cal Gas to come check it out and their tech replaced the line, but when he tested the pressure on the gas line in the whole house there was still a significant leak. Yikes. The gas company shut off the gas to the entire house, so no cooking, no hot water for showers or laundry. I called another different plumbing company who charged $99 to do an initial visit--wherein they wanted me to sign paperwork for a $600 test of the gas line--but on the first visit they didn't do any work, so I would need to schedule another appointment for a few days later for the gas line test. More cold showers for me. I was informed that if they would cap all of the appliances, then if the line was still leaking, all the horizontal lines would need to be replaced which would be about $9,000, then if that didn't work, all the vertical lines would be replaced for about another $2,000. So upwards of $11k. I asked around and everyone told me they thought that was too high, so I started looking and I found good reviews on Angi for Andy Castillo Plumbing. Their technician, Gus, came out the next day, and immediately went to work. Their gas line test was about $300--so HALF what the other company was charging, and there was no $99 initial visit fee. Gus replaced all five of the interior gas lines and old valves to see if that would hold pressure (and to bring the lines up to code, which they definitely were not). IT WORKED!! Instead of spending $11,000, the entire job cost about $900. Gus checked the line for pressure multiple times to make sure it was holding, then he did it again in front of me, so I could see that it had been repaired. When the gas company inspectors came, they said the line was solid, and they restored my gas!! The entire time Gus was there, he explained everything he was doing and why he was doing it, in clear terms. When I asked him how much it might be if he needed to replace all the gas lines (if the pressure didn't hold), he told me it would be around $3,000--which is almost A QUARTER of what the other company would have charged for the same service. My old plumber retired and I've been looking for someone reliable, honest and skilled to do periodic work on my 110 year old house--and now I found him. Gus is amazing, this company has honest, kind, clear, skilled plumbers, and they are now my new plumbers! (and there have been about four other companies I tried before them for other plumbing jobs, so I don't say that lightly.

  The problem was not fixed because the part to be replaced is not available anywhere. Bob, the technician, recommended to wait at least three months hoping that the replacement part will be available by then. Other than that, Bob is very respectful person, knowledgeable, professional and thorough. Maria, who you talked to when you call, even on a Sunday, is the best example of a great customer service. She will call you before the scheduled service and after the service is done as a follow up to ensure that your issues are resolved to your satisfaction. We definitely recommend AML SERVICE to all who needs their appliance repaired
