Floors badly stained from flood. John and the JMC team made them like new! Stunningly great job. Also easy to work with, reliable, on time, reasonable. Moved furniture, put everything back, cleaned up. John knows stone better than anyone and can diagnose and deliver solutions. It's a pleasure to have a company you can count on. Also had them polish our granite kitchen island and countertops and they are like new as well!

Jim Flanagan did a great job on our project. We really enjoyed working with him on our kitchen upgrade, painting, floor refinishing and other touch ups we needed done to the family home we were selling. Not living locally was a challenge but Jim made this workable with his prompt communication, advising us on certain supplies and materials he noticed on sale, meeting us when we were in town and recommending other great people to work with. He was fair, honest and flexible. He did great work himself and made sure others he hired did the same. He helped us stay on budget and finish in our hoped for time frame. The sale of the property went well and buyers liked the improvements Jim made, especially the kitchen upgrades of the countertop, appliances, tile backsplash and flooring. Wonderful guy to work with!

We had hired Waheed back in 2008 to replace our kitchen Formica countertop with a granite countertop. He was very professional and courteous. He supervised the job from beginning to end. The new countertop exceeded our expectations. He gave us a beautiful radius on the island corners which we did not expect. We needed 2 slabs to accommodate 40 linear feet of countertops plus a 5 1/2 foot long by 40" wide island. We receive a lot of compliments from our family and friends. This January, we needed to replace our accessory apartment kitchen Formica countertop. We didn't hesitate to call Waheed again. He came and gave us an estimate. He sent us to pick the slab from his warehouse. We wanted a white Carrera quartz countertop and we had so many to choose from. The new countertop was installed 1 week after the template was taken. We would recommend Waheed to anyone needing a new countertop. He is very pleasant to work with.

I contacted the company, and the response was friendly, the representative came over to my apartment and gave me an estimate of what was to be done and the price. I thought the job was pricey, anyway, I went along with the price offered. I used the $500 dollar coupon from their website, and received a reduction on the total cost of the project. Another fellow came by the apartment, took measurements, and removed the sink, which he took with him. On the final day of the project, the new Corian countertop was installed, I was pleased with the overall quality and professionalism coming from Kitchen Magic. Kitchen Magic is top notch.

I had two wood spindles that ran from cabinets to countertop holding up a section of cabinets. Kurz was able to come up with a way of removing the spindles without taking out the cabinets and then to replace them after the new countertop was removed.

They were all top/notch professional, explained everything to me and I am very pleased with how they came out. They cleaned up and removed all the old stuff. I would high recommend. Garden State Soapstone, Slate & Wood CounterTops
We contacted Garden State Soapstone and two other companies after the soapstone countertop in our kitchen broke in two for no apparent reason. One of the other companies never responded to our inquiry, the other was difficult to get a quote from and provided too many disclaimers for us to feel comfortable about hiring them to do the work. Jay at Garden State Soapstone had terrific follow up, quoted us a reasonable price and gave us a level of comfort that he could do a good repair job. And that he did! Jay and one of his crew came to our house today and immediately got to work. In less than an hour, we had a fully repaired countertop with no signs of the original break--either by sight or to the touch. These two are clearly true craftsman. Additionally, they sanded out a chipped corner (before we even asked them to!), oiled the countertop as promised and left our kitchen completely clean. We highly recommend them.

Empire Marble did a great job from start to finish. Sinan was our point of contact and he showed us around the warehouse helping and suggesting different options that will go with our cabinets. The prices were very reasonable and were the best in almost half a dozen quotes we got for quartz and quartzite. They arrived in time and took their time to install it. They were respectful and even spent time installing our dishwasher the right way. We feel that added like 5 years to the life of it and added to the grace of kitchen. They cleaned once they were done and did a great job of installation. I would 100% recommend them and Sinan to my friends and family.

The reno included removing walls to add insulation, gutting the kitchen and existing bath, adding a new bathroom, installing new cabinets/appliances, painting the whole house, install a new entry door and new flooring. Danny was easy to talk to and whenever a problem arose, Danny was able to resolve it using his years of experience. The quality people he works with are top-notch. Danny was reassuring and very patient, understanding that this was our first major reno. Throughout the project he kept us well-informed and even sent us pictures. Recent Review: The job started with Emily who sat down with us and listened to what we wanted. She then helped us to pick out the cabinets, made suggestions and finally reduced everything to drawings. When the job started, Manny and two other gentleman got right to work. They were very neat and reliable. Anything I asked of them, they did. After the cabinets were put in, they installed the granite countertops. The next day, we found a small crack in the granite. The owner, Juan, came over and saw the crack and without hesitation he advised us he would replace the countertop. He did install a new granite countertop for us and the kitchen was completed. They gave us everything they were suppose to and did the job in a professional manner.

Recent Review: Toby Perfetto is the owner of Carpentry USA, LLC located in Doylestown, PA (215-340-0365) and acts as a general contractor. I have had three major ($20,000 - $100,000) projects done to my house by Toby since 2017 including a large scale exterior stucco replacement, family room remodel (caused by a roof leak that Toby repaired), and kitchen remodel. The kitchen remodel is the most recent (fall 2019) and subject of this review. In my opinion Toby’s strengths include a deep understanding of home construction from over a decade of home construction, repair and remodeling. He is a highly capable business man able to plan, schedule, supervise and, on occasion, perform, home projects. His greatest strength is the quality of the work done under his supervision. He only hires highly skilled workmen/women and provides them with clear instructions and supervision. His interaction with me is completely professional and he consistently meets his cost estimates even on difficult jobs. I consider him completely honest and trustworthy and would not hesitate to hire him again. I am fully satisfied with the kitchen remodel that included refurbishment of cabinets, installing tile through the kitchen and adjacent utility room including backsplash, replacement of lighting and painting. Some (relatively) minor plumbing was included. This was done within a month under significant time pressure and fully on budget ($27,750). I am particularly pleased with the quality of the work and highly recommend Carpentry USA, LLC.
