We had three projects. Some electrical work to add outlets to the outside of the house, and a couple of ceiling lights in the basement. Blake & Greg were professional, friendly, and clear about the work they did. One was a quick checkup of our a/c. Jeff was also professional, friendly, and clear about the work he was doing. We learned some things that will help us plan ahead for future work. The final project was some plumbing work that grew. We have an older house. The initial project was a leak on a faucet with some seized up fittings. Nick was great about trying to keep the project within my original hopes, but the piping behind the faucet was too old, and crumbled away every time he tried to connect to it. When the end of the day came around, it was clear that it was time for a re-piping. We knew this was in the cards, but hoped to avoid it. Nick did his very best to help us, but sometimes it just has to happen. When the re-piping team arrived (Steve, Madison, Riley), they were--as I have come to expect--professional, friendly, and transparent about what was going on. In all three cases, the people in to do the work were quick, but not rushed, and took the time to do the job that they came to do, rather than seeming like there was another job they had to get to and this was in the way. Very good all around

  • HWC Home Works Corporation

We have a 1958 ranch and the only bathroom had never been renovated. We wanted to start from scratch down to the studs for a 5’ x 8’ footprint. Sales person was very helpful, patient, and knowledgeable in selecting the various components and colors for the bathroom. The contract was very clear and detailed. Payment expectations were 1/3 upfront, 1/3 at the start of the project, and 1/3 at completion. The shower install was completed by Bath Works, which had a 12 month same as cash financing for the shower portion only. HWC coordinated and selected the various trades involved, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, flooring, shower install, and painting. The start of the project was pushed back several times, but communication was good. The actual work process was expertly done. The workmen were respectful, cleaned up each day, and were highly skilled. My wife and I are so satisfied with the end result. It is like going to the spa everyday. We intend to renovate the kitchen and basement down the road, and will definitely be turning to HWC in the future

  • BUDGET PLUMBING

I'm having a dishwasher replaced and Lowe's installer wouldn't relocated the water line. Budget Plumbing was able to come out the next day, where other plumbers haven't responded to my call. He was neat, quick, professional, well-spoken and knew exactly what was needed. Price was reasonable. I would use them again

  • Pipe Monster Plumbing

I’m a renovation contractor and do the vast majority of my work myself . My goal is always to provide my clients with excellent craftsmanship and honest, caring service. Pipe monster plumbing does just the same and that is why I have used them on contracted projects and even on my own home renovations when I need the extra help or just can’t get to it. If you want your project done right from people who won’t sell you something you don’t need, then I would wholeheartedly recommend them to you

Plumbing FAQ

  1. How much does a plumber cost?

Answer: The cost of a plumber ranges from $175 to $480, with a national average of $330. However, the price will vary depending on job complexity, timing, location, supplies and materials, permits, and level of expertise. These costs typically include toilet repairs, faucet installations, and leaky pipes. In addition to the service call, you may also need to budget for haul-away and trip fees often required during more complicated jobs. Ask your local plumbing contractor about these fees before hiring them.

  2. How much does a plumber charge to replace a toilet?

Answer: On average, you can expect to pay your local plumbing contractor between $125 and $230 to replace an old toilet, with most residential homeowners paying around $150 to $180 for professional installation. You’ll need to consider materials and labor when calculating a final price. Not all toilets are equal. Depending on the brand you choose and the features you want, a new toilet might run you anywhere from $100 to $1,300. Add in the price of labor and installation, and your total project can jump up to $200 and $1,500.

  3. How much does a plumber cost to fix a toilet?

Answer: According to our service providers, it costs roughly $75 to $200 on average to have your toilet repaired. However, this price will vary depending on the complexity of the job and the materials needed for the fix. Repairs can be messy and less-than-pleasant to address, but having a functioning toilet is most definitely necessary. If you’re experiencing problems with your toilet, contact a local, reputable plumbing contractor right away, as avoiding repairs can lead to bigger—and more expensive—issues over time.

  4. Is liquid plumber safe for septic systems?

Answer: Good news! Liquid-Plumr® is safe for septic systems. Most drain cleaners disrupt the pH in your septic tank, which prevents the good bacteria from breaking down septic waste. The chemical make-up in Liquid-Plumr® works with the bacteria to break down waste quickly without harming your septic system. Still, it’s best to confirm with your local plumbing provider if Liquid-Plumr® is the right solution for your system.

  5. How much is it for a plumber to unclog a toilet?

Answer: Even the most well-maintained toilets experience clogs. It’ll cost you an average of $200 to $700 to unclog your toilet. Severe clogs will require a more comprehensive repair method, so check with your local plumbing contractor to determine the best approach for unclogging your toilet.

  6. Is Liquid-Plumr®, or any other liquid drain cleaner, safe for septic systems?

Answer: Yes and no. Liquid-Plumr® and other drain cleaners are most effective when used sparingly (one to three times a year). Repeated use of liquid plumber on drains could deteriorate your pipes and cause more damage. If your pipes clog frequently, put down the liquid plumber and call your local plumbing contractor immediately.
