Climate commitments toward a new energy future

At the inaugural Saudi Green Initiative Forum, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced two major emissions reduction goals as part of its efforts to lead the way in the global energy transition.

A detailed roadmap for the Saudi Green Initiative, consisting of a set of over 60 initiatives, was unveiled at the inaugural Saudi Green Initiative Forum on 23 October 2021. This first wave of initiatives represents over SAR 700 billion of investments, contributing to the growth of the green economy.
