"John Michael, the owner, came out to repair some leds under the cabinet which he had originally installed. Something had came loose in the garage. He had installed them over 4 years ago, and he didn't want to charge us, because he wanted to stand behind his work. I thought that was so fair of him. I insisted that he give us a price. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> He's really reliable and very honest. Comes on time. I had trouble reaching him because he is very busy. But once I got in touch with him, he made an appointment and showed up on time.

"Fausto was prompt, professional and very knowledgeable. My husband had put up a new light with the old wires and the light no longer worked. One company came out and gave us a price of $1499 (they said they were a PREMIUM service provider) just to get the light to work. My husband is on social security and we do not have that kind of money. We called SAF and Fausto came out. He told us that one wire was broken. All my husband had to do was splice in a new wire. When asked what we owed him, he said nothing. We tried to give me a $20 tip, he refused. With so many people actively trying to take advantage of us, I am so very impressed. I will call Fausto for every electrical need that comes up.

"My wife and I hired many subcontractors to complete a large addition to our house. Belcastro Electric was easily the best experience we had with our subcontractors. The companies owner Andy came out to our project and provided a timely and accurate bid of what the job would cost. He provided many helpful suggestions on lighting choice and switch placement to make the best practical flow when switching on and off room lights on a daily basis. He balanced the newly upgrade circuit panel and subpanel perfectly so we get no flicker even when our 50 amp mini-split system kicks on for us. This was a large issue our neighbor had when installing the same mini-split system as us but used a different electrical that simply added on but did no take the extra time to balance their panel properly so they get light dimming and flicker when their minis come on which is annoying for them. Our ceiling fans and pot lights look great. His crew is professional and arrive in clean well stocked vans. I was amazed at the inventory of stuff they were able to pull of these vans as they wired both high voltage and low voltage equipment they had multiple wall plates and connectors for us the pick from when setting up TV, stereo, phone, and internet. The thing that stands out most about Belcastro electric was Andy's ability to get extra crew here when needed. We had a time crunch for inspection and Andy was able to get 4 guys on my project to finish a day early. If you have a project you want done right, on time, and on budget then hire these guys. Trust me not all subcontractors we hired went this well. 5 stars would use again. -Matt

"Terrific. Excellent communication, responded quickly to post installation tweeks. 128 Plumbing and Heating provided one of 3 estimates. They were tied at the upper end. However, they worked closely with us to look at our system options, explaining everything. I'd asked why they recommended a smaller furnace than the others had recommended which were the same capacity of the existing unit. The representative went over the process to arrive at his conclusion. For the cost change we were able to add some features we liked that now fit into our budget. The AC unit they speced out was more efficient than what we had where the other estimates recommended a less costly and less efficient unit for about the same cost. I will note one if the vendors sat in his truck and scribbled out his estimate in broad terms with little detail. I had expected more from the size of the company he represented. 128 arrived earlier than their 3 week scheduled installation date. They completed the work in 2 days, corrected some items not on the agreement, but were necessary or an improvement As with any job there were a couple of small hiccups. But they were very responsive and when finishing the last bit put tarps down on the floor as to not track dirt into our living area. They left the basement area cleaner than they found it. Did I mention as a former general contractor I was a difficult customer?

"I had an old light fixture removed that did not have a backbox &amp; cover plate to house the wires correctly and a bedroom ceiling fan that mysteriously stopped working. I read a number of Angie's list reviews and felt that VMA Electric seemed like straight shooters, fully transparent and would be able to solve my issues efficiently. (I knew this job would be T&amp;M rather than pre-quoted as it's impossible to say how long something like this would take). But Nancy in the office was wonderful to work with scheduling the work and she gave me the hourly rates ahead of time so I knew what I was going into. I was fortunate with my timing as they just had a cancellation - so they were onsite the very next morning. They solved both of my issues efficiently, cleaned up after themselves and made the whole process extremely wonderful. If you're reading this saying "I just need an electrician or two to come by and fix a couple of lingering items that I've had on my checklist for awhile" - you've found your company. The invoice/bill for the work was emailed to me the following day and it was exactly in line with expectations (a lot of reviewers are cautious about seeing an invoice after the fact). The pricing was exactly in line with the rates previously given and it was itemized with materials, etc. Anybody would be very happy with this group.
