Overall it went pretty well, although it took a little longer than what was originally quoted. When the linoleum was removed, they discovered some existing hardwood flooring on part of the floor that they decided to use. When I asked them if the nail holes from the previous linoleum installation on that section would show when the floor was finished, they assured me that they wouldn't. However, the nail holes show up quite a bit. I think I would have preferred if they used all new wood. All in all, we are happy with the floor. If it was an option, I probably would have given them a B+.

The installers did a great job, it looks beautiful, but their communication was non existent. Arrived late the first day, left without communicating any further schedule. They were pleasant when here, but I never knew if they would becoming back. It's hard to plan around that.

David excels at hardwood floor installation. He has one helper who is just as capable. It is sometimes difficult to get him to return phone calls or provide receipts & written estimates, especially if he has worked with you before. He is a very friendly person, & we enjoy having him work on our home. We recommend him highly for floor installation, but not as much for general carpentry work. He does only installation, not finishing.

I would use them again because they guarantee the installation and their work. There is a guarantee on the materials. I wanted to have someone to get back to. They were so good with the carpeting in my previous house. They were punctual and everything. They are a reputable company that you can locate if five years go by. Hardwood floor people come and go, so it's very hard. They can be good, but if you have a problem, they can be gone. I did have a problem and the order got mixed up. It all worked out. The company was gracious enough and gave me some money off for my inconvenience. I know that what I have, the material itself has a 50 year warranty. I also have a guarantee of 20 years if it starts to buckle. They will come back and repair it or replace it or whatever it is.

He was able to give an appointment for the estimate within couple of days, came on time for the appointment, and was very assuring and honest when he discussed the project with us. Even though his price was slightly higher than the average of estimates we got from others, we chose him because he gave us the impression that we could count on him for a good quality work. His people came on time during the day we agreed on, and did a great job that lasted exactly as we were told, so we did not have to extend our hotel stay. The new floors look very good, hope they last longer than the previous contractor's finish (which had only lasted about 6 months).

Don was able to give me a quote with some details and pictures via text, then he stopped by the same day and measured to triple check my measuring (good thing)! He provided a clear breakdown of charges, and send me the quote/invoice via email. We happened to get lucky with floor materials and an opening in his schedule. In less than a week we had a quote and job completed. If you have to wait for Don's team, it's worth the wait. Extremely professional and an excellent job on the tile removal and hardwood installation to the existing hardwood floor. Great job Don Marcotte!! Highly recommend.

Andre was the only contractor I contacted who responded to our queries in a very timely and professional manner. He provided a free written estimate including plans within a week. All work was done professionally and as planned despite unforeseen challenges along the process. He communicated well during the entire process and offered his professional opinion when needed. Andre was always able to keep his promises regarding quality and price of their work. Not only was his team very professional and hard working but alson respectful regarding our privacy and property. The team always made sure that the living areas were left clean at the end of each workday. In summary, we can only recommend Andre and we are looking forward to working with him on some bigger projects in the near future.

Cliff ordered the flooring for us and had it delivered about 5 days before the start of the job. We paid the flooring company directly, but the cost was included in Cliff's quote. No surprises!! Every day, Cliff and his workers were prompt, trustworthy, and very respectful of my house and my furniture. Before leaving each day, Cliff cleaned up. He seemed to think of every detail. He predicted it would take five days and it did! No late nights, no additional inconveniences. Bottom line is that it looks beautiful, we got exactly what we paid for, and his communication was top notch.

Recent Review: We hired Alex and Bella Floors to install hardwood floors throughout our downstairs of our house. His team did a wonderful job and we can't recommend them enough! They were professional, friendly, showed up on time every morning, patient with us throughout the process when questions arose, and kept us informed throughout the 4 day project. They removed the existing carpet and old hardwoods, removed the baseboards, installed the new floor and reinstalled the baseboards. They were also careful to keep the site clean each night and hung plastic to avoid dust spreading in the house. The install and attention to detail was A+++!! They are true masters of their craft. We can't recommend them enough and will definitely use them again.
