"It went okay. They ended having to come back, and they didn't record the video. But I will say they guys who came back the second time were better then the first. The first visit took about an hour and half. They also took the toilet apart, and didn't have the correct parts so they came back to fix the toilet. And the second visit took about 45 minutes.

"I have used Out of the Woods on several occasions over the past 11+ years. Most recently he was called upon to help us in an emergency situation involving extensive tree damage to our historic home. He took charge and managed all the subs I had already contracted for the specialized repairs (slate roof, chimney, copper gutters, stucco, etc...) and I knew the project was in safe hands with him at the helm. Because of the seemingly endless weeks of rain, he personally got up on the scaffolding and constructed a massive canopy over the roof and chimney so that repairs wouldn’t suffer any more delays. His overall knowledge, professional demeanor, and genuine concern for a perfect and timely outcome, shows through in all his work and that of his crew as well. Greg is about as good as it gets!

The crew was working up the street from my house when the owner knocked on my door and said he noticed the condition of my front stairs and was curious if I would like them redone. John offered competitive pricing, got the job done in a timely manner and was able to work with us when problems arose. Initially we planned on reusing the existing iron railings, however they were badly damaged and were not suitable for reuse. "<p>Just wanted to drop a line or two and let you all know how impressed we were with both your workmen and their work.&nbsp; In today's society, you just don't find companies that really do a great job, they usually just do enough to &quot;get by&quot;.<br /> <br /><br /> <br />At times, without their knowledge, I was home and could hear some of the men talking.&nbsp; Much to my surprise, their language and subject matter were always&nbsp;appropriate.&nbsp; Don't find that much in the labor force today!&nbsp; It spoke volumes to me.&nbsp; When they did speak with us, they were always very kind and informative.<br /> <br /></p> <p>The work that was performed consisted of excavating the dirt to gain access to the footings on both sides of the&nbsp;foundation.&nbsp; On the inside, they had to bust out the concrete floor and hand dig to the footing in order to&nbsp;install their brackets for the &quot;unified lift system&quot;.&nbsp; After installing the brackets, they attached special hydraulic equipment to the brackets which drove 3&quot; diameter<br /> <br />pipes down to bedrock.&nbsp; Next, they attached a hydraulic&nbsp;jacking system to each pier location.&nbsp; Using their&nbsp;special vehicle with a unique hydraulic pumping system they attached hydraulic lines to each location and were able to do a controlled lift.&nbsp; From what we understand, your company is one of the only ones that can perform this &quot;unified lift&quot;.<br /> <br />&nbsp;<br /> <br />We were taking pictures daily and emailing them out to family and friends who could not believe their eyes!&nbsp; They started out making our basement look like a bomb went off and when they were done it was swept and looking very nice!<br /> <br /><br /> <br />All this to say that the work done was absolutely astonishing!&nbsp; We will highly recommend EHM to everyone&nbsp;that we hear may need this type of work completed.<br /> <br /><br /> <br />Thanks so much again.&nbsp; We were dreading having this work completed, but you all made it so much nicer by your<br /> <br />expertise, kindness, and professionalism.</p> <p>Mike and Cheryl <br /> <br /></p> <br />

"Very well <br /> Putting in a gunite pool is a complicated and expensive project no matter who your pool company is. &nbsp;SSG did a fantastic job and I am thrilled with the end product. &nbsp;Quality experience overall with a couple of particular highlights for me. <br /> Communication and project management: &nbsp; <br /> Excellent communication during the process. &nbsp;Once the project was started, my project was put in the hands of a project scheduler who did a fantastic job keeping me in the loop on the process, the comings and goings of the various crews and the timing of various steps. &nbsp;She was the &quot;face&quot; of the company for me during the process and if there was an issue or question, I called her directly and she either had the answers or found the answers. <br /> Expert Crews: <br /> I have complete faith that I have the most technically sound (and very pretty) pool that I could buy. &nbsp;An excellent project scheduler/ point person is very important because an SSG pool is built by a number of crews - all very specialized and efficient at what they do: &nbsp;excavation, plumbing, rebar, electrical, gunite, plaster prep, plaster and service/startup etc.. &nbsp;We were impressed by the professionalism of each crew and by how efficiently they all worked while they were on site. &nbsp;Some of them we only saw for a few others, other crews were here a number of times - all friendly, showed up looking professional and worked hard while they were here. &nbsp;Excellent experience with the crews. <br /> Responsiveness/ problem solving: &nbsp; <br /> Not everything in our project went smoothly. &nbsp;We encountered a number of little challenges along the way - mostly out of anyone's control. &nbsp;I think it is easy to make a good impression when everything goes according to plan but the way SSG responded when the plan had to be altered highlights their deep experience and their commitment to a high quality product. <br /> Competitive Pricing: <br /> I have not investigated service pricing yet nor did I use SSG for the landscaping or patio/ deck/shed but I can comment on the pricing of the pool was competitive in this marketplace. <br /> Advice: <br /> 1) Start the process early so you are not delayed by your town permitting process. &nbsp;These things take time... <br /> 2) Take the time to learn about the different options - there are a lot of things to choose at the beginning - try not to gloss over the details - I focused on total price of the project and should have been more careful in some of the choices I made initially that were the lower cost option but not necessarily the better option from an energy efficiency perspective or fulfilling the functionality that I really wanted. &nbsp;Examples are: &nbsp;types of pumps, fencing options, finished product/functionality of landscaping, pool lighting... &nbsp;I changed course a couple of times during the project to get it right but if I were doing it again, I would be more careful up front. <br />

"Philip came out within a week and evaluated the property in a single visit. Pointed out a number of things but especially a couple important details about improvements we could make. We followed his improvement suggestions and upon removal of a brick patio struck paydirt, finding a large hole under an old concrete walk against our foundation. There was no way to see the hole under the brick and there were no&nbsp;signs of standing water against the house. <br /> Was worth every penny to make sure we spent money only on those activities that would address the problem.
