Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why.
I am a solopreneur and use Google Workspace for all kinds of things. First of all, I use the custom domain for my email address. It works so much better through Workspace than the company where I bought my domain. I also use Google Workspace for my work calendar, creating surveys, sharing files (Sheets, Docs, Slides, and Drive), and even for Google My Business. And I occasionally use Google Meet, though I prefer Zoom. It's terrific to have an entire suite of products that works both easily and seamlessly together. I have been very happy with it, and have referred it to others.
- It's terrific to have a suite of products that is built to work together, rather than having to piece tools together.
- The email and calendar are the tools I use most often together. I use Gmail through Apple Mail rather than in the browser, and it works great. Also really easy to access and use my calendar.
- I use the other suite of features both for my own company internally and to share files with clients. Super easy to use and share.
- I have several Workspace accounts, and it can be kind of annoying to switch between them. For example, if I click in my work email but my Chrome defaults to my personal Workspace, I have to open the file differently or log in and out of the other account.
- Meet is my least favorite feature. I find it very subpar to Zoom in both ease and picture resolution. It's harder to tell when you're sharing your screen and you can't see comments if you're presenting.
- Google My Business can be difficult to navigate. I frequently forget where features are and have to hunt around for them.

The core of our [Google Workspace (formerly G Suite)] use revolves around GMail, Google Drive, Contacts, Calendar, and for me, the admin portal. We primarily assign drive letters were set up shortcuts so the Google Drive users can get to documents stored on Drive using their desktop applications rather than the Google equivalents. While Google Docs, Sheets, and the others are OK, most users are accustomed to Microsoft Office, or other desktop products. We recently switched to Google Voice, and it has made a huge, positive difference! Getting notifications of voicemail and e-mail, including a (not 100% perfect, but pretty close to it) transcript of the message is very helpful. Being able to forward more than one phone number's messages to a primary e-mail address is also very helpful. These various tools when used together make for very productive collaborative environment, but also does well for the person working alone.
- Integration of Google Voice with contacts
- The entire suite of product being available, and being able to interact
- Storage and sharing with Google Drive
- Gmail's easy to use flexibility and extended functionality
- VERY good and attentive support 24/7
- Very sophisticated, and relatively easy-to-use mail administration. (To me) It seems far more straightforward than Exchange.
- A single Google Workspace user should be able to have more than one Google Voice phone number (ideally)
- At times, Google Meet seems a little clumsy (but I think they're about to address that with the new release...It may or may not be better. Who knows? :))
- Some screen layouts are a tad clumsy, but they are sufficiently malleable that once one gets the hang of it, one can customize the environment quite a bit.
- A viable (for small business), relatively-inexpensive, virtual desktop that would include/could include a Windows license or, at least close-to-perfect emulation.
- It would be great if there was accommodation for those who send out a great deal of mail in a given day. Not everyone who does that is a spammer. Although, by Google standards, and relative to some others, Google allows for sending out a good bit of mail, for those who do mass volumes and would prefer not to have their own mail server, it would be good if Google could find a way to accommodate them.

Google Workspace is used by everyone working at Holidify. It is an integral part of our daily planning, content storage, and data analysis. Being able to access google spreadsheets and documents simultaneously across multiple devices and by multiple users helps in maintaining a cohesive working environment with the current pandemic situation forcing us to adopt a 100% work from home policy. We find it quite easy to use as well and due to google workspace's easy learning curve it becomes easier to onboard interns or new co-workers into our working processes and workflow. The ability to set meetings and reminders via google calendar and the ease with each it integrates into Slack (our official intra-team communication platform) makes it easy such that nobody ever misses an important discussion.
- Google calendar and google drive [are] integrable with popular communication platforms like Slack making it easy to share spreadsheets, documents, and files. The prompt notifications make it such that nobody misses anything important.
- Google documents and spreadsheets being [easily] accessible by multiple users across multiple devices makes accessing, edit and [analyzing] data more efficient in terms of time.
- Google meet is one of the best video conferencing software due to its superior sound quality and ease of access even by third-party users. It is easy to set up meetings and invite users as needed.
- Support and troubleshooting could be a lot better. Most of the time reading through support does not easily help tackle the issue at hand when trying to learn a new feature or understanding it correctly.
- Google meet should be [optimized] in terms of internet bandwidth usage and CPU usage when [the] video is turned on. I have mostly noticed an unreasonable spike in CPU usage when using google meet on lower-end devices.

As a one-person shop, I am the only user. I initially started using G Suite/Google Workspace when my email became unmanageable using Outlook. My website developer recommended moving to G Suite. It has simplified managing my email and has solved what had become a major problem for me, as I rely on my email, and of course, there isn't a day that goes by when I'm not using it.
- Email management: This was the primary reason it was recommended to me. Makes a HUGE difference in how I manage my email. It also allows you to do things the free version won't.
- Google Docs: I use these more now than I used to. It allows easy collaboration with clients.
- Google Drive: I use this for not only docs but for sheets - which I'm using more of these days.
- I think Google could provide more info on how to make the most of the product/app. I'm probably not doing everything I could with it to manage my business.
- I use the very low-end version, so it works fine for what I need. I guess they could try to convince me to upgrade to the higher version, but I don't see them doing that.
- I like the video component more than Zoom, so maybe they could market that a little more aggressively.

Google Workspace is leveraged across the agency as our primary cloud storage, email, shared docs/spreadsheets, and chat platform. We've been utilizing this system for eight going on nine years now and I have no complaints. The system is very easy to implement, add users, and manage our storage needs.
- Cloud storage & file sharing.
- Simple email platform.
- Ease of use & implementation.
- Authentication across multiple third-party applications.
- Email cleaning & archiving could be improved.
- Google Sheets needs functions improvements.
- Document conversion is a bit off at times.

We use Google Workspace mainly for our email and calendar needs. We previously used another provider that worked well, however as Google products are so widely integrated, the switch to Google Workplace has been a more efficient solution for us overall. Additionally, Google Drive has given us some real time connectivity through documents which we did not have previously.
- Google Workspace handles email seamlessly. It's always easy to find any email I need with the search and label options.
- The integration that Google Calendar offers makes creating appointments incredibly easy with other apps like Zoom, Calendly, etc.
- The set up on mobile devices is easy as it is basically built in on both Android and iPhone. No need for IMAP, POP, SMTP information.
- From time to time I get an email that requires me to scroll pretty far down in order to reply. I'm sure there's a reason why, but for now it seems random.
- I do wish that we were grandfathered in to the original price we paid when signing up rather than be subject to price increases.
- Sharing calendars is not difficult, but the process might seem daunting to some.

My law firm has used Google Workspace (formerly G-Suite) for over the past decade. At inception, we used Google Workspace for email and calendar functions. Over the years, our law firm has grown to use many of the other features and benefits offered by Google Workspace as they have been offered. My team primarily uses Gmail, Google Drive, Google Chat, Calendar, Google Meet, and Google Voice features. I further use Google Keep, Docs, and Sheets to complete personal tasks. Google Workspace allows our team to collaborate effectively and efficiently communicate with each other. Google Workspace eliminated any need to have a LAN Based IT system or local servers for shared servers or databases. It has allowed our staff to conduct remote work and work together from remote locations and satellite offices.
Google Workspace works on many different devices including IOS, Android, PC, and Mac computers. Our office is primarily Apple-based. Google Workspace easily integrates with Google Chrome to be accessed on a variety of devices.
Our team has increasingly used the Google Chat feature to stay in constant communication with each other. Google Chat resembles and works like Slack. Topics and conversation threads are shared in the different chat rooms to provide the team with organized instant messaging and communication.

- Email
- Company shared calendaring
- Team Communication
- Shared Data Drives
- Google is too quick to reiterate and kills software programs that were offered previously.
- Switching between work and personal email accounts on Google Chrome can be confusing at times.
- Google does not give information about software updates and new features.
- Help sections and tutorials could be improved with video presentation about features.
Google Workplace is the central hub for everything we do. Gmail, calendar, forms, docs, sheets, slides, so in essence it replaced Microsoft Office years ago. We like it due to the simplicity of sharing, the ease of use, and the lack of bloated features that never get used. The best thing about it is how many other companies we work with use it, making sharing and scheduling a breeze.
- Sharing files. Nothing is as easy.
- Making templates-you just save them that way.
- Forms that integrate into Sheets for tracking data.
- Forms should be a bigger play in the mix.
- Ability to share files via Google Voice.
- Google Meet integration is needed.
Google Workspace is the main collaborative working tool for our organization. We are spread across the country, and use Google for communication, video calls, storage, and file editing in a variety of ways. It has been consistent, secure, and well priced for our organization. Also, the offering has grown with our company and allowed our employees to work in a collaborative manner, with an intuitive interface.
- Collaborative working
- Intuitive interface
- Covers most aspects of remote business needs.
- Secure
- Office-like applications not up to Microsoft's level.
- Until recently, video calling was not up to level of competitors (fixed).
- Messaging application is not great.

It is currently being used across the org. We just got acquired by LeanIX, so we are in the process of moving to Microsoft Office. But my team is still using Google Workspace for the time being. Google Workspace was our main organization/ communication tool that is essential for email, calendar, sheets and docs.
- Calendar usability - after being able to compare it with outlook, the functionality and smoothness of the google calendar is much better.
- Email organization - email is easy and simple to use. It is also easy to customize to my liking.
- Google sheets is more user friendly than Microsoft Excel - it simplifies terms and makes navigation easier.
- When someone forwards me an email thread, those are pretty hard to decipher because of the way the emails are displayed. This could be improved.

We use Google Workspace for everything at NoMo Diagnostics. It is used across the entire company by each employee at the company. We use it for communication and file storage. Gmail is fantastic for communicating internally and externally from the company. Google Drive is easily the best file storage system that I have used for work.
- File organization.
- Communication.
- Secure file storage.
- I wish that the PC desktop client worked more consistently - sometimes it has trouble syncing.
- Sometimes the Gmail application glitches and does not refresh like it should.
- A lot of times the file upload freezes when putting files on Google Drive.

Google Workspace is used by our entire organization for user management, single sign on, email, office productivity, and shared drive access. We split our usage between full access across engineer, operations, HR, and business development, and partial access for departments such as accounting, and legal. What would typically be done using a series of services (Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, NAS) is done through a single product suite.
- Browser-based email client.
- Cloud Drive Storage.
- Google Sheets.
- Calendar.
- Management interface is lack luster.
- Distribution groups.
- API access to calendar features.

Right now, we use it to collaborate on documents, tasks, and other things. It's easy to share things between users and makes collaboration easier with team members. Additionally, some of the meeting integration features are handy and easy to use. We generally find Google Workspace easy for people to use, with a familiar layout that many employees are comfortable with.
- Collaboration of documents and meetings.
- Good basic MDM for employee management.
- Great integration with many products and plugins.
- Documents suite is good, but could be improved on.
- MDM is very basic, with no real location tracking of devices, for example.
- Messaging client implementation is confusing and inconsistent.

Google Workspace is used across the company. It is our primary email tool. We also use the Drive and various document features (such as Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.). We integrate it with Slack and many of us have Drive on our local laptops. It helps us to collaborate across departments and externally (with clients and business partners).
- Realtime collaboration in documents
- Easy ability to share files
- Ability to view and recover past version
- The calendar customization and features are great
- Email formatting is inconsistent
- Email doesn't have advanced features like Outlook and Exchange does such as read receipts
- Now that our company has grown, would like to see better ways to view/manage calendar availability
Our company uses Google Workspace for all work emailing, as well as Google Docs to document share. We keep all important documents such as setup documents, ABN and other account information, as well as customer information, ordering receipts, and the like. This enables us to ensure that we have access to these documents whenever we need them, and that we don't have to track hardcopy documents.
- Excellent emailing application
- Great ability to store, sort, and share documents
- Google Docs also can read and edit Microsoft documents
- Creating email signatures with links and images can be frustrating

Google Workspace is being selected as the organization collaborative tool and it was a progressive rollout from initially a few selected departments and subsequently the whole organization. Google Workspace help us to collaborate more easily through tools such as Google Drive, Google Chat and also facilitate virtual meeting via Google Meet.
- Cloud Storage
- Instant Messaging
- Virtual Meeting
- Compatibility with Microsoft Office
- User friendliness on Google Drive File Stream
- Capability of setting different status on Google Chat

Google Workspace is our primary calendar, email, and network sharing file repository for my company. We use the G chat, email groups, and SMTp services.
- Email
- Mobile security
- Group email
- Domain manegement
- Domain level access to company emails
- Domain level access to email forwarding and auto reply
- Domain level management of email archiving during employee separation

We migrated to Google Workspace primarily for email. We initially provided our own email services which is more difficult that it sounds and generally more trouble than it is worth for a small company. Dealing with spam, poor IP address reputation, and deliverability are all very difficult to control, especially when using a cloud provider where your email reputation might depend on your neighbour in the same IP block. When we used our own email servers we often had deliverability issues when sending mail to Gmail and Live email addresses. We were also always worried that our server might turn into an open relay for spam mail.
Since we have moved to Google Workspace, non of those things are even a thought anymore. Email is delivered reliably and we get the same spam protection offered by Gmail. We can also setup user management for our company and our clients and we have access to all of the security features we need to prevent data loss or unauthorized data access.

- Google's service integration is seamless. Sharing files and documents with team members and clients couldn't be simpler. We can limit file sharing and access as needed.
- As expected, Google Workspace integrates perfectly with Android phones allowing for a seamless mobile experience. Integration with iOS is also good.
- Spam protection is second to none. I cannot remember ever finding a spam message in my inbox!
- Google has a good reputation for email deliverability making it less likely your outbound mail ends up in someone's spam folder.
- Google Workspace allows you to host multiple domains and alias domains on your account.
- There is a robust set of tools to allow routing of mail to different mailboxes.
- Collaboration is so easy with Workplace. Real time editing of documents is flawless. When chatting with collaborators, I can see their changes as they make them with no delay.
- Pricing is a little bit higher than other services
- The cost of each email inbox costs the same whether you want just email or all of the features. For example, we wanted a support email address that we could setup our support desk with. The cost of that added account is the same as the account I use with all of the features.
- They removed their free tier for small organizations like mine and restricted the free tier from adding new domain names. This was likely due to abuse, but everyone lost the privilege of the free service.

We use Google Workspace [(formerly G Suite)] internally organization wide for all it has to offer - email, calendar, drive, docs, sheets, slides, meet, voice, etc. By leveraging Google Workspace [(formerly G Suite)] it allows us to have a distributed team with ease and saves us time managing tools and processes, allowing us to focus on our work.
- Corporate email through GMail
- User administration is simple and straightforward
- Full suite of tools with Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc. to get work done with easy collaboration from anywhere
- Google Voice is an add-on feature rather than being included
- Authorization of external applications and managing access for them could be easier
- Meet has improved substantially over the past year, but still not quite up to feature parity with Zoom and others.
We use Google Workspace [(formerly G Suite)] as our primary email, chat/messaging, video call and office productivity system across our organization.
The system provides a robust set of tools making remote work scenarios and collaboration easier than many competing solutions. With strong MS-Office compatibility now available we have dramatically reduced the usage of MS Office in our organization.
We removed many phone extensions from employees who were instead able to communicate using Google’s tools, for a dramatic telephony cost savings.
- Video meetings and collaboration for teams
- Quickly searchable document folders (team drives etc) which can reduce the need for traditional file shares
- Robust and broadly supported email
- Best in class multi user document collaboration
- More granular security controls
- More robust DLP

We use Google Workspace throughout the entire organization, primarily taking advantage of Gmail, Drive, and Sites. We use groups to containerize users and control access to resources internally, primarily centering around file access. Since our teams are globally distributed we rely on Google Workspace to be the core of every communication we have, including customer support, sales and meetings. As [a] global workforce, we're able to reliably stay in contact with each other despite the distance that separates us.
- Simplified sharing and collaboration through Drive and Shared Drives
- Greatly enhanced advanced functions in Google sheets like macro recording
- Regular updates and proactive communication around them
- Out of the box spam filtering
- SSO and third party app integrations
- The support team is frustrating to deal with and make you perform redundant troubleshooting tasks at each step of the way
- Per page permissions on Sites - they had it on classic but removed it on the new sites
- Need to add mail delegation to admin console so super admins can give managers access to departed staff accounts without having to reset passwords
- Longer log history - 60 days sometimes doesn't cut it

Google Workspace is used by my organization for email (Gmail), office suite software (Docs, Sheets, Slides), cloud storage, scheduling with Google Calendar, and as an identity provider for other services logging in via Google SSO.
The main tools we use for remote collaboration are Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom - without Google Workspace, collaborating and running our organization would be a lot more challenging. We heavily rely on Google Drive to create and file important documents for easy retrieval by anyone in the organization. Google Meet has been a good backup when Zoom isn't working, and we've used that platform for remote teaching as many schools find it more secure than Zoom.
One of the best things about Google Workspace is that many people are familiar with the Google suite of apps and Gmail, so onboarding my less technical team members was very easy and relatively painless.

One of the best things about Google Workspace is that many people are familiar with the Google suite of apps and Gmail, so onboarding my less technical team members was very easy and relatively painless.
- Docs - creating a doc is as easy as visiting docs.new.
- Sheets - Google Sheets is a valuable tool for creating workflows in Zapier and storing small amounts of data in an easily accessible location.
- Cloud Storage - We store a lot of PDF documents of sheet music, video files, and other large media. G Suite storage is relatively cheap and easy to access via the desktop Backup and Sync app which allows you to select which folders to store locally.
- Drive - I have heard that the desktop Backup and Sync app will be deprecated soon. This app is a lifesaver for our org, so I'm hoping there will be other options besides the file stream app that doesn't allow for selective sync.
- Drive - file ownership is tricky to change from a consumer user. Many of our files were originally uploaded by an @gmail.com user, and we'd like to bulk change the ownership to the G Suite company domain user. It isn't currently possible to transfer ownership from a consumer Gmail account to a paid G Suite user. The only means to do this appears to be downloading all the original files from the cloud and re-uploading from the local machine as the G Suite user at the company domain.
- Passwords - it isn't possible to add a login to the Password Manager tool when logged in as a user in Chrome. The only way to add a password is to be on a site and wait for the automatic popup. This isn't a great user experience, so we use 1password instead. It also seems more secure to use a password manager that doesn't automatically fill in the password without prompting the user for a master password.

Google Workspace [(formerly G Suite)] is our main email and calendar application across our organization. In addition, we use Google Meet for impromptu and scheduled internal meetings, as well as some external meetings. GMail and Google Workspace was selected as our main email platform largely due to user familiarity and its spam and malicious email filtering. When we have tried alternative email providers, even with security email filtering, we see an increase in unwanted emails.
In addition to these, we also utilize Google Workspace [(formerly G Suite)] as an identity provider for some internal tools using SAML Single Sign On. This, combined with syncing our Google accounts with our internal Active Directory service, allows us to access 3rd party tools securely and quickly.
- Spam filtering in email
- Single sign on
- Calendar events combined with google meet
- Easy to administer users and applications
- Numerous plugins and 3rd party applications
- Easy to use, familiar user experience
- No dedicated client software as an option
- Some products come and go quickly, so don't rely on non core products
- Office applications are good for most, but lack some more advanced options

Google Workspace [(formerly G Suite)] is used for all email and Google access for staff and students in our district. We use mail, drive, docs, classroom and other. Having google as a one stop shop for so many different needs helps us keep problems to a minimum. Having all of the apps that Google hosts available to us in the cloud also keeps costs down on-site both in terms of hardware and maintenance.
- Email is great. It doesn't require any on-site hosting.
- Having one account that is able to use so many different features is very convenient.
- Google Workspace for education is nice for allowing teachers and students to participate in their respective roles.
- The admin functions often times do no allow for mass changes behind the scene.
- When there is downtime, there is no option for offline access and any troubleshooting is out of our hands.
- Getting support can sometimes be difficult. While I can always get someone, it can take a while and/or require a callback.

We as a business used Google Workspace tools to collaborate on multi-user files and cloud computing opportunities across our business. We implemented it in 2015 and have since consolidated our cloud software to exit the Google Workspace of products for another vendor, but I continue to use the tools personally where I can.
- Multi user interface.
- Autosave and version history.
- Notifications
- Sheets tools were lacking in comparison to other tools.
- Government restrictive projects and lack of secure cloud locations.
