Recent Review: I hired them to install a large French drain with an outdoor sump pump in my garden, as the garden was getting flooded during heavy storms. NV did a great job. They performed the work quickly and to very good standards. They were on the more expansive side of the spectrum of quotes I received but so far it seems that this was well worth it. In addition, when the sump pump they had installed got accidentally damaged by a gardener a few months later, NV came back as soon as I called them and fixed the pump (for a reasonable price)..

Recent Review: Green Future installed an outdoor sump pump, three drains, and connected the indoor sump pump and backyard gutters to the new drainage system. We only got two quotes but they were less than half of the other quote and only a little over a 1/3rd more than the price for the previous passive drainage work done by another contractor which was sloppy. The new drain and sump pump seem to be working as expected. My only real complaint is the amount of time it took to get on their schedule which was about 4 months. I know that the weather was an issue but since they were not able to get to it until June I do not expect any grass to grow with the heat. Overall though, they were easy to work with, responsive, the work seems good, and it appears that the drainage will fix the issue.

Recent Review: Rob was very responsive via the phone and email (he usually responds next day for emails, but I understand, he's working during the day). I called him and two other plumbing companies up and stated my case and work. Rob works on his own so I got him to call me back. The other two companies have answering services so I really couldn't get much information out of them. After speaking with Rob, I was very confident in his professionalism and his client service. I did get quotes back from the others, but I wasn't very happy with their level of detail and willingness to answer my questions. We scheduled a date and time and he was very punctual and friendly. He worked most of the day to get the job done and stopped to explain things and educate me on different plumbing terms and code. He was the ONLY plumber that I called had experience with the kind of backup pump solution AND was very knowledgable with the pros and cons of each system. All the other plumbers relied on one system and didn't even bother to research new or better ways do handle backup pumps. Again, Rob was friendly, knowlegable, and very professional. He may not have been the cheapest (he wasn't the most expensive quote either), but I trusted him throughly. With something like a sump pump, I didn't want to leave that to just anyone after our recent flood. I fully recommend him and I will be in touch with him for future plumbing jobs.

Recent Review: Although we are on public water and sewer, our wastewater has to be pumped up to the street. When the pump system broke, Mallick Plumbing replaced and tested new pumps, floats, and an alarm system which would alert us in case of pump failure. Although there may have been other companies who could provide the work need for the septic tank, only Mallick could replace the alarm system which had broken many years ago. Other plumbers said we had to get an electrician to fix the alarm; electricians said we had to get a plumber. Mallick just did it. In addition, we've had them in for normal repairs to drains and toilets. Not inexpensive; the last was $250 to replace the float and valve in a toilet and replace a fuse in the septic alarm system. But, they quickly and efficiently get the job done.

Recent Review: James Bennett, President, installed a new sump pump. He arrived on time and installed the new sump pump without any problems. He explained how the pump works, how much water is pumped out each time the pump is triggered to discharge, and other useful information. I believe that Mr. Bennett will give you an honest and accurate estimate and is very, very willing to satisfy the customer. Having less than favorable experiences with other waterproofing companies, Bennett Waterproofing stands out and really should be at the top of your list and the company you choose.

Recent Review: In April of 2010, we had some flooding due to our existing sump pump not keeping up with some heavy rains. I called Ehrhardt Brothers after reading recommendations on Angie's List and they came out in short order to replace the pump. The folks I spoke to over the phone were courteous and willing to hear all of the concerns I had and fielded a number of questions both before and after the pump was installed. Similarly, they explained why they choose the pumps that they do in a way that I found both proactive and reassuring. As these things go, it was a very pleasant experience and I'd definitely do business with them again.

Recent Review: I called Mr. Bromwell in a panic because we woke up this morning with no running water and water all over the laundry room floor. We had been having strange symptoms with our water pressure prior to this where the running water would just stop, then start back up again a few seconds later. Yesterday though one of the water breaks took about 30 seconds before coming back in. Since we have an elderly person here a lack of running water really is an emergency. I got through immediately to Mr. Bromwell's emergency cell and explained the situation to him. He had installed our well pump back in 2009 which is why I went to him. He was able to come out this same morning to see what was going on. He had a young assistant with him and both gentlemen were extremely professional and easy to talk to. They both came out within two hours of my call and got right to work. Mr. Bromwell rapidly diagnosed the switch issue and said that we were really lucky that we hadn't burned out the pump if it had continued to run. He then determined that the switch wasn't the only issue. There was a clog in the pump casing that was also causing problems. They fixed that and then before calling it done double-checked the relief valve to make sure that no more water was coming up. And they checked it very carefully, taking their time. It turned out that water was coming out and the valve was faulty. The gauge is all shiny and new now, we have no more leaking water and we have perfect water pressure throughout the house.

Recent Review: The pressure tank kept losing pressure and the well pump was cycling on and off every hour to hour and a half. Water on the ground indicated that the pitless valve was bad. I had talked with the owner of Atlantic Blue a few days prior to the crew arriving and was immediately impressed his sight unseen diagnosis of the problem and assurance that I would be happy with their work. The crew that was sent was fantastic. They immediately hand dug down to the valve, verified that the valve was the problem and set about replacing it. Since I have a shallow well they offered to pull the well pump and inspect the condition of the pump and the connecting wires especially since it had been cycling so much adding wear and tear to the pump. I was present when they pulled it and I noticed quite a bit of corrosion. The pump was 15 - 18 years old so I asked them to replace it. They told me that by doing it now I would save the normal pulling fee which would be charged if I did it at a later time and would only have to pay for the new pump. That saved approximately $400 on what would have been a future well pump replacement. The crew was very personable, friendly and always interested in answering any questions I had. One thing I noticed and did not expect or for that matter even thought about was how they would put clean boot covers over their work boots before coming into my basement garage when coming in to work at the well pressure tank and switch in the basement. Very nice touch and shows a real respect to the customer and their property. I have used other companies in the past for various well needs and believe that I have found a company that I will always turn to not only for my well needs but for any major plumbing and water treatment needs. I highly recommend Atlantic Blue to anyone needing the services they provide.

Recent Review: Everything went fine. My sump pump is very old and I had never heard it come on. Drain Sights used a hose to simulate water coming into the pump and found it was working and pumping the water outside despite the age of the pump. I was reassured that the pump would work in case of any flooding. I t was worth the money to know the pump is working!

Recent Review: The folks from Honest Abe were terrific. Abe and Richard diagnosed the problem as the failure of both sewage ejector pumps on the Wednesday before Memorial Day weekend. No pumps - no running water because there is no where for the waste water to go. They sourced the parts - and the nearest pumps were in Pennsylvania - and Richard drove to Pennsylvania to pick-up the pumps for Friday installation. It rained like crazy on Friday preventing them from doing the installation (the pumps are outside in a concrete tank underground). However, to get us back to normal, Richard brought his crew out Saturday to do the installation. They were just the best!! It would have been very **** ** the family to wait until after Memorial Day (Tuesday) to get this fixed. So happy to be able to run the water and flush toilets again. We have used Honest Abe several times before (water heaters, water purification system, valves and pipe leaks) and once again they exceeded our expectations. We will continue to use Honest Abe (Abe, Richard and the others) for all our plumbing needs.
