They gave a good price, it was competitive. I found that I could do the work cheaper so I did it myself. The gentleman was nice, helpful and knowledgeable. He came very soon after I called them. Some companies say they are too busy, but he came right away. If I feel like a company is trying to help me even if they are more expensive. If I feel like they are looking down on me or don t know what I am talking about I won t use them.

MILLENNIUM LAWN & LANDSCAPE
At first the owner came out and did the quote. Seemed very nice and told me he focused on communication. When the lawn was laid the people doing the work performed it well. I also paid about $500 for my tree to be trimmed. I was not happy with that job. I called and the owner told me that his worker took a picture of it and sent to him. He said it looked good and made many excuses not to have to come back out to the job. I also had planted bushes under my tree that had problems (spindly and not healthy). He said he would swing by in the week to look at it. That never happened so I called the company owner and he hung up on me. I later explained that I would contact my credit card company to dispute the service. He got belligerent with me and in the end, I just walked away. I also informed others that were interested in sod services to steer clear of this person.

We hired the OB Sod team to replace sod that was removed during pool construction. Jose, the Sales supervisor responded quickly and came out for estimate the next day. They were able to schedule us pretty quickly. The crew were very polite to us and our neighbors. They worked quickly and kept the work area very clean. The sod is inspected for pest or disease by workers before delivery to ensure start up success. WE were provided start up and watering instructions. We would certainly hire them again.

Reliability distinguishes the best contractors from the rest. This was never in doubt with Jay in spite of two unavoidable issues that arose prior to installation. Both were handled perfectly with excellent communication. I don’t know what is typical but the sod from Jay’s supplier seems very clean to me. A month after installation I’ve seen only 3 or 4 small weed sprouts from 6,000 sq. ft. of sod. Owing to outstanding site preparation there’s also been almost no breakthrough of preexisting weeds.

TruGreen Lawn Care - 5798
We spoke with management and they did admit it, and they said that they would go ahead and come back. We put $150 down to get that treatment done and then they burnt the grass. They wouldn't even reimburse that money. They said that they would come out and take a look at it, and that they would treat it again. At that point, we weren't going to have them do any more treatments on the lawn. They were awful! They didn't correct the problem and we had to have a professional service come out. They treated it and just waited for it to come back. It eventually came back but it was hard. I think what it is is that they just hire people. I think there's a big turnover. They are not looking at the notes. I told the guys not to fertilize the grass, it needed a bug killer. Whoever they hired didn't even pay attention to the notes and just put fertilizer on it. I don't recommend them. The price was reasonable. They did get back to us eventually. They weren't mean about it, but I had to go through 3 different people for one person to actually concede that it was their fault. They were timely.

Owner John and Operations Manager Jason were on top of the irrigation and sod installation planning from start to finish. Any questions I had were answered thoroughly. The new irrigation installation consisted of two zones of spray heads in the front yard and one zone of drip irrigation for the plant and flower beds. The crews arrived on time, worked tirelessly in significant heat, and cleaned up the property when finished. Oasis will be returning this fall to complete the last phase of my planned irrigation installation and sod work. I have been extremely pleased with the results.

The sod-work performed was okay in the front yard and down-right horrible on the side and back yard. There are so many places that the sod did not take, many gaps which has caused a hazard to walk through the back yard without taking extreme caution. It appears that poor preparation and grading is the cause of this. However, I got a good price and would not have been able to afford the yard I have with another company (you get what you pay for.) I have been trying to contact the owner for the last month to get a receipt for service so that I can turn it in to my water department for an adjustment on my waterbill without success. All attempts to reach Mr. Loomis by phone and text message have been ignored.

Recent Review: First of all, my yard looks wonderful. The shrubs,trees and sod that Mark provided were in good condition and with watering every day the yard is green and plants look great. My gardenia tree is so full of flowers that it looks white. The job did take longer than I had planned on but I am very happy with the results. My yard went from a sandy,weed filled eyesore to a beautiful green lawn with beautiful landscaping. I would recommened Mark and his company and would use them in the future.

Recent Review: They showed up on time and went right to work, tilling up the entire yard with the sod cutter. They even gave particular attention to the areas where nothing was growing at all to ensure the new sod would take in that area, The sprinkler heads were cut around nicely, and when they were finished laying the sod it looked like it had always been there, seams barely visible! I had one large tree with an uneven slope up to it and the fill dirt that I'd asked for was raked in and that area of the yard is now a focal point! They have been very thorough, friendly, and professional through the entire process. i also contracted them for a monthly maintenance service to spray for insects, fungus, weeds, and fertilizer. They were here the very next day for the first treatment, and instructions on watering and care. I am extremely satisfied and highly recommend this company.

Recent Review: The owner, Travis Council, come out to my house and evaluated the area. He advised me on the sod I chose which was Empire Zoysia. The quote was fair. The proposal was very detailed and professional. His crew leader, Miguel, stayed in contact with me with updates as to installation date since rain was delaying them. Crew arrived on time and did an excellent job doing final grading and laying the sod. The sod is a superior product. The crew was very meticulous and professional. They also roll the sod which other companies do not offer. Council actually grows the sod for their customers as well as other landscape companies. Do yourself a favor, cut out the middleman and go directly to the source! It costs a little more but you get what you pay for! Thank you Travis and associates!
