Houston Roof Shingle Installation

Early in the project we found the wrong shingles were delivered. Nick Ochoa took immediate action found replacements of the right shingle and corrected the issue immediately.

The roof installation went well except for all the roofing nails and shingle pieces all over the yard. They dropped oil on my brand new driveway and oil on my brick walkway. After a few weeks my roof started to leak ,they came out and fixed it with some roof cement and said all fixed. Then after a month or so it started to leak again and even more then before. I cc'd called Addison Roofing and sent them pictures and text messages with no reply or call back. I now have damaged cathedral ceiling, water damaged painting and damaged 60's SGT PEPPERS POSTER and water damaged shiplap wood trim. Do yourself a favor and never call Addison roofing company. You will sleep better and save a lot of money.

Went great! Workers worked very hard, kept the work place clean and we're very professional. Owner Eddie was very nice, and made sure his guys did their best job on my roof! Roof turned out great, haven't had any problems! Would definitely hire again

Scott Thames did a great job setting up the contractors and supervising all aspects of the repair. His team did a great job staying in communication with me through the while repair process. His office personnel did a great job dealing with the insurance. I would definitely do business with Texas Engineered Roofing again!

Took money and did not perform the job. I have been calling for over 2 months and no call back. Lost all my money. Very good talk that's all it was. Fraud committed.

Alex Suarez went out of his way to make sure we were pleased and satisfied. The application was professional, on time and we were pleased with the results.

All done in one day. Had one blemish which was fixed promptly upon notification the next day. Excellent cleanup. Might have gotten cheaper from a less-qualified firm, but price was reasonable and work was terrific. Would recommend.

I noticed some damage and we experienced some leaks. State examined thee roof, identified some hail damage. They worked closely with our insurance carrier. They came on.time, finished promptly and left the property in excellent condition. They did break a flood light in the lawn area but promptly replaced it. And a few months later, we noticed a small leak at one edge. They returned and replaced or added some flashing which seems to have corrected the problem. Overall, very satisfied. Installer assigned by company was very good at responding to questions about roof replacement and provided samples of different shingle colors to choose from. He emphasized that work would be hand nailed. Some colors would cost extra. My spouse was home during the days work was being done. Once work was completed, a walk through inspection with installer was done. It revealed some nicks in the vinyl siding that most likely occurred when old shingles were removed and fell to the ground. The top portion of my house has siding and brick on the lower half. On one side of the house, two new windows with white trim had small nicks and tar from shingles falling from the roof as well. Just to clarify, the majority of windows in my house have solar screens. A few months back I purchased new windows for my living room area and they do not have screens on them. Some of my large plants had broken branches. Other than these issues, roof looks fine and the cleanup by crew was adequate. About a month after the roof replacement, I decided to clean all the windows and discovered that the two new windows actually had scratches on them. The scratches were in line with the dents and tar on the frame. I contacted company and owner agreed to pay for repairs.

Anuar and his team did an excellent job replacing shingles and performing minor repairs on our 17 year old roof. They also power washed, caulked, and painted exterior of the house. Anuar did of the chart job with respect to punctuality, responsiveness, care and reliability. His team performed the project with great care and attention to quality. We have had a one item left to do after the project was completed. We were leaving a house the same evening. Anuar promised to complete this last remaining task after the weekend when we were away. When we come back the following week the task was completed exceptionally well as the whole job. We would definitely hire All Over Exterior and hope to be able to work with Anuar and his crew. Well done!

There were some issues and there still are but the job is not finished and they have not asked for a dime until the job is done and done right. Very satisfied so far, will be super satisfied when whole job is complete.

The work was started and completed on the same day. The workers were extremely nice and kept everything moving at a steady pace. A couple of days following completion of the job, there was a lot of rain and a leak in the roof. I called to report the problem, they came back immediately (in the rain) and reported to me they had failed to put the proper glue (or whatever they use) around one of the gutters on the roof. They apologized for the problem and within a day or so, sent someone to do a minor repair on a ceiling that was damaged. I was very pleased with the group, and the fact that they didn't hesitate to take responsibility for a problem that was theirs, and not mine. They were very nice people and I would definitely use them again. I can't really say they were the lowest priced roofers around, but they used the best product and the right amount of nails (not staples) per shingle. That's important too. They are definitely not just a group who flies through town with no responsibility. By the way, this was hurricane damage.

I had a covered patio added on to my house in March/April of 2010. My contractor subcontracted out the roofing of the new patio to Roof Toppers and I assume this work would have been done under Linson Construction. So on the day that the roofing was done I looked at it with my contractor and I questioned why the shingles used were a different color (light gray) than the shingles already on my roof (brown) and my contractor told me that it was the closest match they had and that the shingles would ?fade? to be close to the same color. I didn?t pay a lot of attention at the time because we were doing major renovations on our house and there were so many issues that I didn?t really have time to deal with it. Three weeks later I fired the contractor because of his cost overruns with no legitimate excuse. In October 2010 we had additional insulation, radiant barrier, and a solar fan put into our attic. As part of this installation we were removing two old turners on the roof and would need shingles to fill in the holes. The provider pointed out to me that the shingles on our roof were two different colors. I told him what my contractor had told me at the time and this man just laughed. He said that since he had just purchased matching shingles to our original roof at Lowes that there was no way that was the closest color they could get to the original roof. He thought that perhaps when Roof Toppers arrived to do the job they had the wrong color shingles on their truck, did not want to go get the correct shingles and probably worked out a deal with my contractor so that they could use the shingles they had brought. This man suggested that I call Roof Toppers and explain the situation and have them come out to look at the roof because any reputable company would not want this obvious mistake on their record. I called and spoke with a lady at the Roof Toppers office who took all of the information and kept telling me she would have to call the ?main? office and see what they said. I never received a call back.

Showed up early Day 1 and protected the house during a brief rainstorm. Completed ll the work by 2pm Day 2 and cleaned up completely. You would not know anyone was there.

Seemed fine, the repairs went quickly and have held up well. But had the chimney& roof looked at about 2 years later and the repairs did not hold up well. The ridge vents had collapsed and found numerous problems with the shingle repairs. Had to have the entire roof replaced including all of the repairs less than 2 years later. The person hired to do roof inspection commented that the repairs had been done badly and that the roof was not very secure and barely waterproof.
