  The Bluegrass Construction team did a great job with my fence project. It was a bit complicated at the start as I was installing a horizontal, mid-century style fence to replace 250+ linear feet of older vertical picket fencing. Some upfront engineering/design work was necessary to figure out how to manage the transition and step-down of the fence panels with the various changes in grades of the yard - but after working with the team the first few days to figure out pattern and style, the fencing went up very quickly and came out looking great. The team was really flexible to accommodate what we were trying to accomplish and checked in often to make sure everything was in step with the overall plan. As we ran into some grading challenges, the team helped figure out the logical path forward at minimal change order expense. They also helped coordinate with five neighbors involved with the project. Can't recommend the team highly enough and I will plan to reach out to Bluegrass with my next phase of fencing work in the new year.   Quality work. I came by RTI Services quite by accident & while discussing another potential project found they also do decks /porches. I had another company coming out for a bid so asked RTI to do the same. The time, effort, detail & price provided by TJ @ RTI left no doubt they were the choice. The front porch is beautiful - as many neighbors - who gave unsolicited approval attest to. I again chose RTI to replace a very old back deck with 2 smaller decks which beautifully match the front. RTI had an excellent crew member work on each project. And some 42 year old cedar siding was sorely in need of replacement - done AND stained by TJ. And while I worried about rain before completion, TJ protected & secured the exposed side of my house with plastic. All professionals all the way

  I need a deck and some concrete patio replaced. I had called Eastside Fence & Deck and left a brief phone message regarding what the work was and asking for a quote. A short while later, they called back and left a message saying they were booked thru the end of the year and could even bid the work. I just thought I should recognize them for a business practice (customer follow-up) that does not occur with all companies these days. I guess this is part of the reason they get great reviews on Angie's List

  Seamless .About the only thing that went right in 2020! Ronnie and his crew are dedicated to their craft and their final work displays that. They ALWAYS showed up on time, if not a few minutes early. They stayed on task and were helpful when we solicited opinions for types/colors of decking and on deciding configurations of structure. The covered deck and front porch are a PNW dream. Truly turned out more beautiful than expected. Trying to come up with any 'cons'. The cost was somewhat more than other bids, but money well spent for the quality of work. They didn't cut corners with materials or workmanship

He demonstrated pride in his work, a real craftsman. I interviewed and researched many deck companies, and Defined Exteriors and its owner, Michael, was by far the most detailed and professional, not only meeting, but exceeding my expectations. I enjoyed talking to Michael, he was informative and knowledgeable. He was chatty, but not "pushy" or hard sell. The contract price was very fair, with no hidden or add-on charges.
