    Vic and his team were truly amazing throughout our entire home renovation. I cannot recommend this company enough. We had new hardwood floors installed in 4 different rooms, our hallway, a wall removed to create an open concept in our home, professional painting, and vinyl floors installed in our basement. Vic, Kelvin, and Mark were always on top of the project and readily available for any questions or concerns we had. During the reno process we also encountered a problem with water coming through into our basement and Vic was able to get the problem fixed so quickly and efficiently to stay on our projected schedule. We were truly taken care of and blown away by the outstanding job AHR did. Everything was beautifully executed and we definitely plan to use AHR for any and all of our future renovations or repairs needed for our home

    I'd give Mr. Costanza 10 stars if I could. He correctly diagnosed the issue and moved quickly to remedy it. He stabilized the foundation and shored up the flooring, even making some repairs that weren't foundation related, but that he'd found needed to be done under the flooring. To reach the foundation, part of a new patio had to be removed. Now replaced, it's impossible to tell it had been disturbed. He noticed the chimney had some cracks and repaired it, without being asked and without charge! He was communicative and happy to answer any questions I had in a way that allowed me to understand and to know that my home was safe. Knowledgeable, affable and kind, Mr. Costanza was on the premises throughout each day, directing the work. His crew were also gentlemen, pleasant and helpful. I will definitely hire them again

    The work Eddie and his crew did for my house was exceptional. From the get-go, Eddie was able to explain the structural issues of my house in a way that was understandable, yet did not demean my lack of knowledge. He is a true teacher, and I wish we had someone like him as an inspector when we initially bought the house. Given his reviews on Angi's list, I had really high hopes for him, and he did not disappoint. His crew did a full underpin of two of my foundation walls, and while he was here, he patched up all the cracks in my foundation and even paved a new walkway and did some landscaping to ensure that we would not have water issues moving forward. He went above and beyond what our contract laid out, but I think my favorite part about the process was that I now feel there is someone I can always call if I have any concerns about my home. Eddie would give me an honest answer and help me find a solution, even if he wasn't an expert. I feel more comfortable as a home owner, knowing that there are people like him in the world. Once we pay this repair off, we are already planning to hire him again :)

    Flawless Masonry recently renovated our front stoop and sidewalk, which extended along the side of the house into the backyard. Dave Semprini provided us with the initial quote and estimate and was involved throughout the entire project. During this pandemic-related economic downturn, we have all experienced inflated prices and supply chain disruptions. In spite of those challenges, Flawless kept to their original, fair quote and did beautiful stonework. The team worked in several groups independently to get the job done. They were meticulous and professional every step of the way. Flawless also added a French drain in our driveway that looks good and will help us avoid flooding problems in the future. Several of our neighbors have commented on the quality of the work. We definitely recommend Flawless Masonry for anyone who wants quality stone or brickwork for their home at a fair price

    I have worked with Malek for 20 years. My first project was in 1999. I purchased a house in 1997 covered in permastone. The project entailed removing the permastone and replace it with brownstone this included the stairs. The job also included repairing the cornice and removal of painted on the blue slate. The job was completed on time and it still looks beautiful. I also has small children at the time so they always clean-up after themselves everyday. In 2004 I purchase a build, Malek started work on it in 2006. They added structural beams, redid the sidewalk (blue slate) repointed front of building and added new store front windows. In 2018 Malek work on building again. Repointing the whole building, put on a new roof, replaced the cornice and added brownstone. The building is complete and won The Lucy Moses Award in 2019.     They arrived at the time they said they would. They did cement and sheet metal work during a heat wave in August. The work was completed in one day. I asked them to come back in a few days to do waterproofing under the porch. They came back and did the job. They noticed the steps leading to the cellar were cracked and needed waterproofing.     What we expected to be an 8-week project ballooned into a 16-week project, delayed largely by rainy weather and perhaps some mis-scheduling on the company's end as it juggles multiple projects. Be aware that your project's projected timeframe may very likely be extended; Abedin is in high demand. This was the most frustrating part of the process, having the project at a standstill with a large 3-storey scaffolding out front blocking sunlight and bags of cements and other work items in the courtyard. However, whenever I did call Abedin to find out the status and when work would resume, he was readily accessible and responsive. The craftsmanship is exemplary and it's apparent that the workers are highly skilled and take great pride in their work. I also greatly appreciated that the workers cleaned the site daily after working. This is HUGELY important because the worksite is also my home and not an uninhabited construction site. This meant a great deal to me and Abedin was often on site or sent a supervisor on site to assist and inspect. Abedin is hands-on and has high standards, which keeps the works not only focused and accountable, but motivated. Here's an important tip: where possible, throughout the process, protect your historic fence and railings with a drop cloth because they, like the courtyard's surface, will be battered. Abedin promised to repaint after the work was completed and his guys did, but the repainting job did not match the quality of restoration work we had previously paid for with the ironwork restoration contractor. Despite the setbacks and extended project time, my husband and I are extremely happy with our restoration project and the craftsmanship. Our brownstone looks completely transformed and historic and beautiful! Should we have future brownstone restoration needs, Abedin will definitely be our choice. Thank you

    We first hired Rahmann Contracting five years ago, to repoint and repaint our four-story townhouse façade, windows, doors and ironwork, front and back. They did a professional job (with hanging scaffolding). Five years later, it still looks great. After that job, we asked them to excavate and replace a long drain pipe in our back yard and resurface the yard with bluestone and a granite perimeter curb. Once again, the job turned out great and looks wonderful. This year we needed our stone cellar walls repointed and waterproofed, with additional waterproofing and support on the foundation walls. Structural support of the cellar columns was also required. Again, a thorough, professional job. Rahmann also did interior site preparation in connection with our recent installation of new furnace/air-conditioning units. We also had them remove, repaint and re-mount the exterior shutters on three floors and do additional exterior painting. This job has just been completed. We find all the company’s workers to be friendly and professional. They work to a high standard and there is always active supervision and frequent on-site management by Mohammed Hye. He aims to please. We would definitely hire Rahmann again
