    The team was efficient and friendly. They performed what looked like a dangerous task cutting a very large branch off of a huge tree overhanging our garage. They also removed a tree that was crowding the foundation of our house. We didn't even know what we needed, and they told us exactly what needed to be done. They cut the trees up into firewood for us. They were generously flexible with the cost, as we couldn't afford the initial quote for all 3 trees we had initially asked about. We will definitely be hiring them again for that last tree this summer

    We've used Macauley Bros for ~7 years now, and they are hands down the best contractor of any kind we work with. Most recently, we asked Bernie to advise us on removing some older yew bushes and replacing all of the plantings in our front yard. Not only did he do the removals quickly and without any issues, but he advised on some beautiful new plants, shrubs, and trees that his team installed perfectly. We love how it turned out! (& so do our neighbors!) Bernie also went the extra mile by clearing a stuffed gutter that was giving us some drainage problems, and installed beautiful reservoirs at the bottom of our downspouts, to further help us when big storms hit. Bernie's crew is always professional, efficient, and extremely hardworking. We experimented with another crew a couple of years ago, and it wasn't even close -- they were nowhere near as talented or detail-oriented as Macauley Bros. If you go with Macauley Bros, you won't regret it

We had poor luck with one of their competitors earlier that caused long project delays - Kucharski came in and took care of it all. Highly recommended (if you're in Southern NH)! My only regret in the project is not calling them sooner

I first called Done Right just to haul out some yard waste, but Bruce was so easy to work with, I asked him to take a shot at the neglected trees and shrubs in the front yard. I'm glad I did.     If you want a tree company that shows up on time, works hard and efficiently, and charges a reasonable amount that doesn't require a home equity loan, look no further than Henry and his crew from Boston's Landscaping. I hired him in the Spring to install new sod in our little urban yard, and was so impressed that I contacted him when we needed a tree removed. His crew showed up exactly when they said they would, and made short work of a 25 ft dying crab apple tree and it's stump. The only reason I hesitate to write this review is that I'm afraid once people find out how good and reasonable his work is, he will get too busy and not have time to come back and do work on my yard this Fall

Bernie is very responsive and constantly communicated with us throughout the process. Most of all, he cares. They did the work as if it was their own home, not only making it beautiful but using their expertise to make it more functional/useable. His crew, Gus and team, are highly skilled, professional and hardworking. They are very customer service oriented – Bernie and Gus listened to my requests and addressed every one of them to my complete satisfaction. The team worked efficiently and they leave the job site clean and tidy every day. The crew came the next week and the tree went down quickly and uneventfully. The crane was massive. I price compared with two other highly reputable companies, and McDonough was $200-400 less expensive. The crew cleaned up the area post removal, and you wouldn't have known anyone was there, but for the huge tree missing. Highly recommend McDonough, and would use them again without hesitation.     We had Juarez Landscaping trim a few trees for us at our home in Peabody. They did a good job at a reasonable price BUT they also drove a few large limbs through the asphalt in our driveway. The work was done on a Monday, and I called AJ the owner who assured me that his brother would be by on Tuesday or Wednesday to repair the damage. When nobody showed up, I called AJ again Wednesday night and he said his brother would now come by Friday or Saturday. My wife waited for them on all four days. Nobody ever showed up or called and we had to hire someone else to do the repairs. Will never use them again because they did not fix the damage that they did. Fortunately, it was not worse
