Harco ExteriorsWe had an excellent experience with Harco Exteriors from start to finish. John completed a thorough walk-through to get a sense of our needs and sent us a detailed proposal. He's very knowledgeable and had several great suggestions about how to address some existing gutter placement/drainage issues. John was reliably available to answer our (many) questions and guide us through several key decision points. He was also able to recommend and coordinate with some other tradespeople that we ultimately needed to involve in our project. The crew on-site was very neat, courteous, and efficient. And as a total bonus everyone was super kind to our young child who was sometimes curious, sometimes scared of all the commotion happening outside. Most important of all, the team did a GREAT job. He was also very detailed on his quotes and description of the work. Once work started, the crew was fast, the work was high quality. I get tons of compliments on the job from neighbors and others. This company worked very hard to accommodate every request I asked for. They performed and worked diligently, any issues that came up along the way as the project evolved was immediately discussed with me for approval. Updates were given throughout. For each day worked, the team made sure my place stayed clean at the end of the day which I found very impressive. I was given a date for project completion and they had everything done as promised. There were small details that needed a final touch and the team was always receptive, welcoming, and made sure it got taken care of right away. They worked very hard to make my dream project come true. I will highly recommend to friends, family and anyone that might be looking to do a home improvement or remodeling that is affordable and within budget when compared to other companies that charge the same amount for half the work. Innovative Contracting Services IncIt went extremely well. The work didn't start on time but because our end got screwed up by lockdown stuff. They were understanding and worked with us. Once the work started it went fast. The whole team from the guys pulling boards off the house to the people in the office were friendly and communicative. We didn't have a lot of mid-project changes or challenges, but what we did was worked through and everything came out to our satisfaction. The house has received many compliments. The work has been top shelf and each of the crew has been on time, customer focused, good suggestions, and went above and beyond with their efforts in many cases. POWER CONSTRUCTION ROOFING & SIDING CORPI highly recommend Power Construction out of Natick. As part of my diligence, I received 4 quotes from various companies that were highly ranked on Angies List. Lisa was a pleasure to work with from the onset. She was always available and very thoughtful. Power was also very competitive with their pricing. The other quotes tried to up-charge us for living in a nice town. Power Construction prices every town the same. The scheduling was a breeze and the workmanship and crew were very efficient. They are hard workers and kept the site very clean on a nightly basis. Communication with crew chief was great. They replaced my large asphalt roof, rubber roof, and repaired some cedar shingles. I highly recommend them and everything about the job was perfect.- Jay A.

The work was phenomenal, they finished the project 6 hours ahead the estimated completion. The clean up was impeccable, it went really well, they did a really good job, there was no nails scattered around the ground, the work was very neat and clean. I hired Diamond Construction to replace my siding with vinyl back in summer 2019. About 4 months later the siding on top of the garage started falling apart. I immediately texted the owner of this business (John) about it and he responded saying he will have someone stop by to fix it. Reached out again the following week with a text, this time no response. This was back in November 2019. I decided to not pursue this in 2020 given the pandemic. But since things are opening back up, I decided to call them back to get this issue resolved as the warranty is good for 2 years. Just this week, I called the owner John and spoke to him on the phone. He mentioned he has seen the falling siding. He again said he will send someone to fix it this week. It's the end of the week and nobody has showed up to fix the siding. I am leaving this feedback to caution anyone that is looking to hire this company for work. I have worked with different contractors in the past and this is by far the worst company of all.

It didn't - I called to schedule a site visit so they could give me a quote. They insisted that I be on-site for the visit and I asked why as I explained that I was based on the Cape and that my girlfriend was concerned about Covid. The person on the other end of the call couldn't give me an answer on why I needed to be there in person - just that that is their policy. I offered to call or Facetime and she said no they wouldn't do that. I asked again why I needed to be there, she started rhyming off a bunch of questions about what type of siding I wanted, how much this or that, etc. I said I want to have what is there replaced. I said I will try and see if my building manager could be there - she then said I sounded like a difficult customer and that they didn't want my business. I can only assume that it was someone related to the owner I was speaking to as any other employee would have/should have been fired for how my inquiry was handled.

Skillville did an amazing job on our bathroom remodel. Bruce provided clear information about the quote, what could potentially impact that quote as we moved forward, the timelines that we expected to follow, etc. Covid19 created a challenge because just as we were about to start, everything shut down. Bruce checked in with me every 1-2 weeks to let me know what was going on and when they expected to be able to start. Everything was delayed for about 6 weeks (completely understandable, given the circumstances). When we did start, he was clear about what his subcontractors would be doing as part of safety coming into my home. Every person vigiliantly wore a mask, wiped down surfaces with disinfectants wipes that they brought with them, communicated with me via text to reduce needing to be face to face, etc. I felt that they really cared about my health and safety, as well as themselves. Bruce laid out everything that we would need to shop for and provide ourselves, emailing me details like measurements, etc, so that we could pick out items like a tiles, vanity, mirror, toilet, and other pieces of bathroom fixtures. If I was unsure of any items, he was patient with my questions and made sure I was on the same page with what I needed to have on site for the upcoming steps. The project came in right at the quoted amount and within the projected timeline. Considering all of the added challenges, I couldn't be happier with the results. The bathroom looks great and I'm already thinking about what project to have Skillville come back for next!
