    ‼️ Dr. Keith Scott is a respected voice in ICUs. He got COVID Pre-vaccine from his 1st pt. He healed & months later developed Guillain Barre (neuromuscular paralysis) & almost died. Now >1yr later he’s unable be a doctor due to . Tragic 🎥 Get ‼️

    13/fin Dr. Angelou taught me about Cultural - embracing a sense of equity, equality, respect, & love. The more I incorporate cultural empathy into my life, the better I can care for my pts both in & beyond the ICU. The more I will be able to say, “I see you.”

    12/ I didn’t realize how far I’d be leaving this goal behind as I channeled myself into . Nor how long it would take to get it back. I also didn’t realize how much silencing of pts I’d “commit” along the way & how much shame I’d carry seeking redemption.
