I did payroll and HR in tech in SF. This was exactly my first thought. Disrupt HR/payroll and kill it all even faster than disrupting engineering. Severance packages don't happen. Benefits cease. No one works for free. HR does more to keep the lights on than people realize.

I'm done!! no 2nd cost of living payment yet, £1.22 left on the emergency on the electric, I now won't be able to run my dialysis machine until payday! Octs price hikes have killed me, I'm using £10 a day just on electric compared to £2 a day this time last year!
