After numerous HVAC replacement estimates from 5 different businesses I decided to purchase a new air conditioning unit from Environmental Comfort Heating and Air.
They sell several different brands, including Goodman, Rheem, Ruud, and Trane and are
a Duke Progress Energy certified installer (important if you're looking for a electricity energy efficient rebate - for higher SEER rated systems). Dominion Energy also offers energy efficient rebates if you purchase a gas furnace (as part of a new HVAC system).
Environmental Comfort Heating and Air owner John Van Order was very knowledgeable,
personable, and didn't try to up sell me.
The lead technician installer Kevin Harbig shared a lot of HVAC information with me, which I liked.
I recommend them on price, knowledge, professional ism and I had a good overall experience.

Requested a quote for a heat pump early morning received a phone call within a half hour to set appointment to inspect the unit. Came to my house yet that morning. Diagnosed the problem and explained what he found clearly. Called for availability of the required part, which happened to be in stock during these days of things being out of stock. He got it repaired the following day. Outstanding service.
I will give him all my heating and air service from now on.

Kenneth was recommended to us by a family friend. We had called other companies, who tried to see us a new unit without even seeing our unit. Kenneth came on Sunday, since a tropical system was headed to the area on Monday. Kenneth assessed the system, went to get the needed part, and came back to do the repairs. Kenneth was very reasonable, honest, and has a no nonsense attitude! We highly recommend Kenneth, and will only have him come back to work on our heating and cooling systems!

Iâ m let me start by saying if you call anyone else you have already made a mistake.

This heating and air conditioning company is superior and the gold standard by which others should be assessed!
In my opinion, their professionalism, customer service, unquestionable expertise, clear communication, fair (perhaps more than fair) pricing
establishes Delta Heating & Cooling at the top of the local industry. I met with the owner to discuss the best system for my home with no
attempt to up-sell, he answered all my questions without rushing me, and fully explained the Delta installation process, which was flawless.
I could not find anything negative anywhere about Delta. Although I did get other estimates, such was pointless since none
could beat their price. In summary, you will not be disappointed with Delta!

Good job, fast response, easy to work with. Project (converting propane connections to natural gas) has only been partially completed due to hot water heater leak that became an emergency. Technician replaced heater, upgraded piping to support NG allowing gas company to install NG meter and get us back online with hot water. Remainder of project will be scheduled when underground lines are marked and ordered materials arrive.

Michael & Son Services is a conglomerate of companies who joined under the same umbrella to minimize expenses by sharing protective covers like insurance and attorney fees.
This is a very good initiative as long as everyone remains ethical in quality of customer service. One bad apple will tarnish everyone else, and vice-versa.
From my personal experience, the Air Conditioning Service was first grade and since I now know what M&S is, I will keep my very good opinion of this service and perhaps try other services, if need be.
