Recent Review: I thought that Stephen Brownley did an excellent job and the price was a steal. He did the entire job by himself. He showed up every day and worked until the job was finished.

Recent Review: Let's start with the positives. First and foremost, the finished product looks amazing and I have no complaints with the quality of the work performed. Of the 3 projects that we had done, the painting was the only one that Clarksville didn't use a subcontractor for. The painting process was handled very efficiently and we never came home and felt like we were displaced from any one room. There was an understandable level of dust, but they did a good job cleaning up after themselves each day. The finished product looks very good. There were a few things that needed to be touched up at the end, and they responded very quickly to fix the things that we pointed out. Clarksville used Classic Granite & Marble as a subcontractor/supplier for the granite counters. Classic did a great job with the installation. The counters were replaced all in one day so we were never at a point where we were without counters. They installed our new faucet for us that we had bought on our own at Home Depot. One minor complaint was that they did not have the plumber there on the same day to install the faucet, so we were without use of our kitchen sink for one night. All in all, though, the counter install went very well. The problems that we did have were with regard to the hardwood flooring. Clarksville used Bode Floors (CB Flooring) as a subcontractor for the work. We knew that the material was coming from there, because we went there to pick it out, but did not know until the workers showed up that there would be a subcontractor to do the actual work. Clarksville does have flooring guys on its staff, so I was very surprised that the project had been subcontracted. The crew that showed up spoke very little English and were extremely hard to communicate with. When I came home on the day that the flooring was being done, the entire level of the house was covered in a thick layer of dust. It was clear that the workers had not covered a single piece of furniture and they had been doing all of their sawing inside the house. We had had to take everything out of our pantry because flooring was going in there, so it was all sitting on the countertops. Every single thing was covered in dust. We had to throw away some food and wipe down every surface. Additionally, the dust was in the air and it was difficult to breathe on that level of the house. This was particularly concerning because we have a 2-year old daughter. Additionally the workers had left a few pieces of my daughter's furniture outside on the deck. To Clarksville's credit, when I called our project manager, Quelvin, to complain, he was very apologetic and agreed to have a cleaning crew come in and clean the whole house (at no cost to us), which they did the next day. They also set up a number of fans to get the dust out of the air. Another issue, albeit a small one, was that Clarksville had either measured wrong, not ordered enough material, or material had not been used efficiently because there was about 6 inches of flooring that was not finished on the install day. More material had to be ordered and it wasn't installed until one week later. Clarksville used their own flooring guys to finish the job, which was nice because I had no desire to let the Bode guys back into the house, but it just begged the question of why they couldn't have used them in the first place. Another issue that we had was that on one day when we got home after they had been touching up paint, our fridge had been left unplugged. Fortunately no food was spoiled, but in order to get to the plug I had to slide the fridge out across the new floor. In doing so, one wheel of the fridge left a long scratch/indentation on the floor. Clearly the specific act was my own fault, but I felt that Clarksville should repair this for me because I wouldn't have had to do it at all if it weren't for the fridge being left unplugged. They wanted an additional $400 to replace 2 boards for me (even though there was enough material left over--this was just for the labor). I refused to pay anything more to have this done, so it's just going to be left as-is. The finished product of the floor does look really good, though. One final small complaint I would have is with regard to the communication to us about who was responsible for what on their team. We got our initial estimates from the owner, Adam. He was great to work with, and I never expected that he would be on site once the project started or anything like that. We were then handed off to Tom. I guess he was our account manager (?), but he just came out to reconfirm the measurements (which were ultimately wrong). I traded a few e-mails with him before the project began, but he was not on site for the actual work. Finally, when it came time to actually do the work, Quelvin was our primary contact and project manager. He was at the house for periods of time on most days. All in all I have to say Quelvin was great to work with. He was very responsive, helpful and professional. I know this seems like a lot of complaints, but I still give them a B overall rating because at the end of the day the work is done and it looks good. They are far from the cheapest company around--they are definitely on the pricier side of the quotes that we got, but we felt that the quality of the work in the end would be worth it, which it was. I would work with them again in the right situation. This was my first foray into working with a contractor, though, and I feel like I learned some things for later. For example, I would want to get a clear idea of all of the subcontractors that are used so that I may evaluate them individually on Angie's List or elsewhere.

Recent Review: AG Construction and Flooring provided my estimate the same day after taking measurements. They were the best of three estimates provided. They were very punctual and professional. Floor installation was perfect. Clean-up after installation was outstanding.

Recent Review: We love our new kitchen! We had a wonderful experience with VKB from the design process through the installation. Their use of the Computer Aided Design program helped us see the proposed layout from different angles. They were helpful as we thought through the options we wanted. When we wanted a few changes, they listened and readily accommodated us. The final design was stunning. Their workmanship was great and they delivered our kitchen ahead of schedule. The project manager was on top of the job. We highly recommend VKB for your kitchen or bath.

Recent Review: I want to first start off by saying that my bathroom looks amazing!!! I contacted John because they advertised a big deal. There was work that the deal covered that I didn't really need. John came out and listened to what I wanted done, the budget I had to work with, and came to agreement on the services to be provided. I had talked to two other contractors but John listened to what I wanted and worked with me and my budget. It was a 12 working day job. The crew is friendly and professional. They covered my hardwood floors from the front door, up the stairs, to the entry of the bathroom. They took care to cleanup at the end of the day. They made sure I was satisfied with the job.. All the white 4x4 tile was removed (floor and tub surround) including the white tile base molding. The toilet was removed and set aside (I did not need the toilet replaced). The sub-flooring under the toilet was water damaged due to a leak i was not aware of. They replaced the sub-flooring and a section of pipe for the toilet. They were able to fix the leak that caused the damage. The tub and tub fixtures (faucet, handle,shower head) were replaced. There was a slight mishap with the tub but they replaced it without any problems. As I requested, a niche was built into the wall for shampoo and liquid soap bottles. The tile was installed to ceiling as requested and the floor and wall tile was installed so cleanly. It did not have the grout caking that was previously very apparent in the builder installed tile. New sink faucets (supplied by me) were installed and the cabinets stained a darker color. The painter who preformed the staining and painted the bathroom and trim does amazing work. When he started the painting of the walls he had me come in to make sure I was satisfied with the color. When he stained the cabinets, he tweaked the color until I was happy with the stain. The mix he came up with make my cabinets look new and rich. I wish I could remember all their names so I could give them individual shout outs but unfortunately this is a shortcoming of mine. I am terrible with names. Suffice it to say, they are an amazing crew and it was a pleasure to have them do this job. I hope to do the master bath next year and I will be calling John Krause Construction for that job and my future kitchen make over.

Recent Review: Remodel USA did a wonderful job on our floors. The team was punctual, professional and polite. The work was done quickly. They were good at communicating the process and letting us know what to expect. They even painted the trim in our bedroom even though we didn't expect it.

Recent Review: If you need someone you can trust - in your home and around your family - then this is the company, and these are the men, you can rely on. We contracted with DMV, this is our second time, to finish our powder room, dining room, living room and install hardwood floor. Finish, materials and performance of everything is first class! Oscar gave many helpful hints when we talked with him about the design, and made commonsense recommendations to help keep the project within our budget. While they spent whatever time was necessary before the job to spec it all out to our approval, when customer decisions were needed in the midst of the job they did not push us to do what would be easiest for them - rather, they would explain the options involved in a way that was clear and that eased the decision-making process for us. Their crews showed up when they promised, with the skilled workers, tools and materials necessary to do a great job. Now, we are so proud of the rooms they created for us - we recommend them in the highest degree! They do what they say they are going to do, and they do it with courtesy and class! This was the best experience I've had with a vendor on Angie's List. FIRST CLASS JOB, AGAIN !!!

Recent Review: It went wonderfully. They were incredible to work with, did a great job. They were quick, perfectionists, and the job turned out so beautiful. My house looks like a model home now. I would highly recommend them to anybody.

Recent Review: The process from start to finish was quite professional. Freddie met with me multiple times to review the plan for installation and ensure that all questions were answered and all details were worked out. The installation went smoothly and the final result is amazing! The workmanship and attention to detail is apparent. I couldn't be happier and I plan on having Freddie and his team back to install more hardwood in the rest of the house.

Recent Review: Bernard was super responsive and helpful when we had questions. He and his team offered helpful suggestions and worked with us to keep the cost down. Their estimate was pretty close to the final cost and they got everything finished on time. We would definitely hire them again.

Recent Review: 1000 sq ft of hardwood floor was installed by L & C pro floors. The initial cost estimate was accurate and competitive. We were happy with the crew: professional, efficient, and polite. The floors look fantastic! We will hire them again to install the hardwood on our 1 st floor and stairs.

Recent Review: Although they did adequate acceptable work during the initial install some work was missed and needed to be redone. In addition to that their response from the company management or owners was pretty slow. They needed to come back and make some corrections. They seemed to be understanding of what needed to be done. They understood what the issues were and came out and looked at it and disappeared for two months. I had to keep on calling them. I would maybe use them again.

Recent Review: After relocating and rehabbing houses 5 times, I can honestly say Gary is the most professional and talented tradesman I have ever worked with. His install was gorgeous, on-time, and fuss-free. I’d hire Gary to install new hardwood flooring again in a heartbeat!

Recent Review: He was very good. He moved everything for me and did not charge me extra. He came back a couple of times to fix where they had chipped my wood. The first time they laid the floors, I had no furniture in my house. They cut the wood outside and cleaned it all up. The workers had to cut the wood out and they did not use a vacuum as they went along and I had sawdust all over my house. The last time they came out, he came with them and made sure that they did it right. I had to wipe everything down. I did send Bruce an email. They were very professional and friendly, if there was a problem he fixed it. I would hire them again; I would just make sure I was home to supervise. I felt they were trust worthy and honest and they did a good job. After they laid the floor, they came back and fixed their mistakes. I think that the price was comparable to another quote that I had. This guy included moving the refrigerator and stove and two toilets in the cost.

Recent Review: Precision Remodeling partnered with a local a kitchen designer that updated our kitchen layout that was over 20 years old. The new layout provided a combined kitchen and Great Room that opens up the floor plan and living area. New cabinets, electrical, plumbing relocation, flooring, counter tops and appliances has made the kitchen and Great Room better than you will find in new homes and with better craftsmanship. Dave and his crew and sub-contractor's are true professionals. Daily communication was excellent as there were decisions that needed to be made during the demo and remodeling project. The sub-contractors including electricians, drywall, plumbing and flooring did an outstanding job and coordinating the work was outstanding. The project was complete in approximately 4 weeks and was on time and on budget. We would definitely contact Precision Remodeling in the future and recommend them to our friends and neighbors.

Recent Review: AMAZING! From the first phone call with Ash for him to come measure and give an estimate, he was prompt, personable, he educated us about the different wood types, hardwood vs. engineered, etc. I knew almost nothing about wood floors and now I could explain to someone else if I wanted. We then went to the warehouse and picked out a beautiful cherry oak hardwood, I was able to set up the install for within 2 weeks. Ash spent time with us, never seemed rushed or annoyed with our questions. I also like that it is a family owned business. The 2 guys who installed the floors took care when installing the floors. They turned out absolutely beautiful, I wish I could attach a picture. Lastly, they have the best prices around for the same quality product. We went to only 1 other store and that store was much more expensive, probably because they have to pay overhead for their fancy brick and mortar establishment and the many employees this other store had. Bottom line, if you want quality flooring installed at a great price, along with great customer service, use PriceCo. I plan to use them again when we floor our upstairs.
