TOP NOTCH FENCE COMPANYJason and his crew Amber, Connor, Nick & Natalie did a great job. They took up four 4x4 post in concrete and replaced them with 6x6 post leveled not an easy job. After that was done Jason started building the gates to the new post. Everything looks fantastic there cleanup made the place look better than before they started. TOP NOTCH FENCE COMPANYThis company is VERY hard to get a hold of. I had to basically chase them down to hire them. I emailed them, called them, messaged them through Angie's List before I was able to talk to them. I finally got a hold of Dave (the owner) on a Saturday morning via telephone. Once I got a hold of them it went well. They do great work and their price was responsible. And once the project got started they were really quick. AnA Fence and More, LLCMy first meeting with Robert was great. We went over everything and I gave him half the cost of the project to secure a date. It was downhill from there. The project was to start in September of 2020 but"because of Covid" didn't get under way for 2 months. The fence was installed crooked and Robert tried to convince me that I wanted the fence not straight but to follow the terrain. I didn't buy that and had him fix it. The hinge of the garden gate was so weak that the gate collapsed and the locking mechanism now does not work. Then there was the driveway gate... He was to install an automatic driveway gate. The gate was ugly with the wood slats not lining up with the fence and the gate kept jumping off the hinge falling flat on the side at times. Robert tried to convince me that it was vandalism when I convinced him otherwise with video footage of the gate being blown off by the wind damaging the motor. He then made me pay extra for a more powerful motor, installed it and the same thing happened. He then decided that he had to make a stronger hinge all the while the posts supporting the gate were splitting and the gates kept falling. My neighbors asked for the name of the company so they don't ever make the mistake of using them. Throughout this whole ordeal there was a lack of responsiveness and many lies and accusations. Unasked, Robert came and picked up the gate because I told him the I had to keep baby sitting it when it would fall. He picked up the automatic opener and the manual key. I tried to get a refund for the gate and it's components and the next thing I heard was that Robert was in a serious accident and the phone number is no longer his and they have no idea of what's going on, all this after Ashley was to meet with the accountant two months ago to figure the amount of my refund. I had to have a new gate fabricated and my current contractor cannot reach them to get the components to attach the motor to the new gate and the remote controls which I payed for and have not been refunded. All in all Robert and this company displayed the worst in workmanship and customer service plus they have my property for which I need to be reimbursed. Throughout this whole ordeal I was very patient, giving him all the time and extra money he needed to complete the job. This patience was met with dodginess, not answering texts and rude and contemptuous responses when we did communicate. People like this should not be allowed to deal with the public and I do not recommend this business at all. .- Kathleen B.

This is the 3rd project done by TruBlue for us. Each time, I have been extremely satisfied with the work!! The first project was a shower installation. (It is beautiful!!) The second project was exterior trim repair and painting. The most recent project was an attic door replacement, by Darrell and Anthony. (Arrived and finished on time, did great work, and were friendly and helpful!) Each of these projects were quoted fairly and completed within budget and on time. The owner and his crew are respectful, knowledgeable, and friendly. I obviously trust the work since I have scheduled work with TruBlue on 3 different occasions. 10 out of 10 plan to call TruBlue when I need any other work to be done!

We had several woodworking jobs and most of the companies that came out would do some of the projects but not all of them. Hittle was able to do them all at a good price and with great professionalism. The hardest part of the job was taking out the old wood retaining walls around flower boxes that surrounded our patio and replacing them with new wood. They had to dig them out and then replacing them required a lot of precision work. They also took down an awkward old wooden awning and replaced it with a lattice wall next to the garden. Together those two projects make the patio area look 100 times better! We also had them build a short wooden fence and gate on the unfenced side of the house. And in front they installed a small wooden fenced area to corral our trash cans and hide them from the street. Everything looks great and the workmanship was truly excellent.

Company failed to come out for a quote-TWICE. Talked with woman on phone and she said she would call first and come out either Thursday or Friday afternoon to give a quote for fence repair. Stayed home both those days, but got no call by Friday late afternoon, so I called her again. She sounded like she didn't remember me, but did apologize. We then set a specific date and time for her to come the next week and she actually called the day before to confirm she'd be here. But she did not show up and has not contacted me since. I'm disappointed and wonder why a company would do this-TWICE-to a potential customer.

I am so torn on this company. The sales process was smooth and prices were on par with everyone else. The set the expectation initially was that it would be about a 2 month wait to get the fence. I understood. Their process of scheduling and overall communication was TERRIBLE. I had paid a $2000 downpayment and didn't get any communication when that two month time frame came and went. I would have to reach out to them to give me schedule updates and emails would go unanswered. So I'd have to call for updates. Then that time frame would come and pass with again no communication. I gave them a lot of feedback on why this lack of communication felt very shady. It sounds like they just had a lot of delays due to covid, weather and staffing, and I totally get that. Pushing the time out didn't bother me, it was just the lack of follow up that completely irked me. They need a better system of updating customers on schedule changes. After a total of 4 months, the fence was finally installed. The crew did it in two days and worked hard, even in bitter cold temps. The actual install was wonderful and the fence is beautiful. No complaints there. Just hope they can organize themselves better for future customers having a better experience.

Top Notch Fence did a really nice job. They did exactly what they said they were going to do on the exact schedule they quoted. They also honored their estimate to the penny. They even noticed after they started the job that the "standard" straight gates were not going to look right on our sloping fence line so they took measurements and custom made gates to the slope of our yard, for no extra charge. Now that is customer service at its best. Nick was great to work with on the job. I would highly recommend hiring them for your next fencing job.
