Allied Outdoor SolutionsAllied Outdoor Solutions was a fantastic choice for our most recent construction project. They were a pleasure to work with and our patio turned out beautiful! We contracted Allied Outdoor Solutions to build out the patio on our new house. The project involved considerably extending our patio with an expanded cement area and Alumawood roof cover to accommodate a family-sized set of patio furniture, as well as a wood-burning fire pit. We also wanted a small outdoor kitchen with a built-in gas grill and bar area. Allied was more than up to the task on all these asks. From the very beginning we appreciated not only how prepared Jack was with the vast array of options on offer, but also how he helped steer us toward choices that made sense for us while still making sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. We weren't completely set on how we wanted the final product to look but Jack was both patient and accommodating through the early steps. Even when we had to make another bigger change later on in the process, Allied was both kind and gracious in allowing us to do so. Once we'd gotten underway, Carlos - our project manager - was always reaching out and making sure we were happy with how the work was proceeding along. Though we ran into a few issues along the way, Allied went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect in the end. If I had to come up with a con, I would say scheduling the work itself was a bit unpredictable. Even this is very much understandable as our particular area has a lot of new home construction and demand is very high. We would absolutely recommend Allied Outdoor Solutions to anyone in need of quality and reliable work from a company and people that are pleasure to work with.- Zdravka C.

Allied Outdoor SolutionsWe worked with Jordan on a pretty extensive project. He added travertine tiles to our front porch, doubled the size of our patio with pavers (including a retaining wall, firepit, seating wall and low voltage lighting), and added pavers on the side of the house for trash storage. The project has helped to totally upgrade our backyard. Jordan and Allied did an incredible job! We are elated with the outcome!- Gerhard g.

Anthony & Sylvan PoolsAs a long time Angie’s List subscriber (15+ years), I have posted reviews of numerous companies (35+) that have provided exceptional service for my wife and I, both at our prior home in Dallas and now at our new home here in Austin. Of all the companies reviewed however, there is only one that has warranted multiple reviews and that company is Anthony Sylvan Pools (A&SP). They were one of 5 pool companies we engaged back in 2018 to submit proposals for an elevated pool and deck at our new home in the Austin hill country. Their design proposal (in 3D virtual reality (VR) form that you could literally fly around and through to explicitly see and actually “feel” what you would be getting) blew us away and in addition the cost was approximately one third less than the next best competitor. Needless to say we awarded them the contract, and construction, while challenging (e.g., as high as 10 feet above ground, huge thick concrete forms with 7 tons of steel, several hundred cubic yards of packed road base below deck, pool equipment below water level, etc.), proceeded reasonably on schedule with few hiccups. In the 2 years since commissioning, we’ve only experienced 1 issue of significance, which was a failure of the heater igniter that A&SP quickly isolated and replaced under warranty. The purpose of this review post (our 3rd) is to try to convey how thrilled we are with every aspect of our life that is now centered outdoors around our pool and deck. We along with several members of our family and friends are swimming, sunning, eating, visiting and/or view gazing poolside virtually every day of the week, which is exactly what we were hoping for at the outset. If you’re wanting to build a new pool and your area is served by A&SP, I highly recommend you give them a call to see if they can make your dreams come true as well…- John M.

Options for changes the job dictated once the excavation was done were thoroughly explained and well executed. All involved were so friendly and polite; the work area was kept and left clean. A couple of follow-up requests are being handled smoothly. The new lake-view patio leading into my guest apartment will be fantastic for family gatherings and grandchildren play. In a geographic area where there are (unfortunately) a lot of fly-by-night contractors, Glenn is the real deal---his years of experience show in his excellent customer service and performance.- Susan V.

The work went great. I found a water stain in my ceiling after a recent storm, and I wanted to get the repair done before the next rainstorm in the forecast. I spoke to Alex, and he showed a real interest in getting the job done and asked for any pictures that I had that could help him assess the job. He was able to help me out and get the repair done right away. He even showed me that there were some exposed nailheads (that should have been sealed by a previous contractor but weren't) and took care of that as well. The price was competitive (I quoted with another roofing company), and I am very satisfied.

Francisco and his team were very professional and dependable. They finished removing half of my driveway and installing it in 2 days, just like they said they would. Francisco explained to me what my home builder did wrong on my driveway and he assured me he would use rebar instead of metal mesh. He also uses higher psi concrete than the other companies that I received quotes from. I learned a lot from Francisco about driveways. Some neighborhood men really paid Martinez Masonry a compliment when they said that whoever did your driveway, they did a great job. My neighbor is going to hire Martinez Masonry for some work. They gave me a really good price so I will go to Martinez Masonry for all future jobs!
