I used to be a Tiger customer, but I decided to switch because of their frequent price increases. I gave Metro Waste a change and I'm glad I did. I mean, I just want my trash picked up, easy day. Metro has delivered with no issues whatsoever. Even when we might forget to take out the trash one day, their customer representatives have been nice enough to accommodate us. They collect my trash on Tuesdays and Fridays, and recycle on Wednesdays. Very dependable. When I had the need to dump a mattress, they gave me a fair quote and were quick to pick up the mattress the day they indicated. So far, so good. I recommend Metro!

We had a big 3 bedroom house that we sold and we were downsizing to an apartment because we have a home being built and the help I got from Andrew, Darrell and Will was incredible. My wife and I could not believe just how "careful" these movers were! We had a lot of very fragile items and nothing was broken and everything was handled with care. When we are ready to move again in 5 months I will request these guys again. You would be crazy not to use anyone else but this company.

DO NOT USE THESE CROOKS! They quote low "contractor price" to get your business then stick you with a HUGE bill with extra fees on the back end that you have no way to dispute. Wish I would have read all the negative reviews about their shady business practices before using them. Don't make the same mistake I did PLEASE.

Warrior DisposalI really cannot say enough great things about these wonderful people. To make a long story short, my husband fell quite ill, to the point of near death and critical peaks. In preparation for his eventual return home, I desperately sought a business that could bring a dumpster to my home the same day that I called. When Joseph got a hold of me, not only was he courteous and professional, he acted quickly and ensured delivery of what I needed in the time frame that I needed it. He kept me informed and even got it to me earlier than I anticipated. The pricing was PHENOMENAL, especially for the service I got! They went above and beyond, and when I told him about my situation, I was met with so much compassion it brought tears to my eyes! Upon removal of the dumpster status post clean up, they even cleared some yard trimmings I had intended on clearing myself later. Now THAT is customer service. They continue to check in from time to time, just to see how my husband and myself are holding up. They treated me just like family, and not only have they earned a customer for life; but rather a friend too. If you're looking for services from these Warriors, you can stop here with them because you'll receive much more than anticipated. Junk Chunkers, LLCIt took a couple of phone calls, but the 12-cubic-foot dumpster was delivered. We were grateful because other junk services said they were too busy in the week that we called. We filled the dumpster, and then had to leave before they could come back for it, but Junk Chunkers picked it up again and phoned us to say everything went fine. We wished we could've gotten a larger one (we could have filled it, no problem!), but we simply didn't have the funds for something bigger.- ANNE S.

Bin There Dump ThatMaking the order was really easy and quick. I called them directly and was taken care of promptly and professionally. One thing that bugged me was the the price advertised on-line did not match the price I was given over the phone (higher price). They said that it was because of the distance to the city dump; if that's the case, they need to do a better job in updating their website with more accurate pricing. Furthermore, when I made the order I was asked on what side of my driveway I wanted it placed. Consequently, the dumpster was delivered and placed on the opposite side of where it was requested. This normally would not be a big deal because it did not affect the job at hand, but it bothered me that they failed in that aspect since they did ask where I wanted it placed. One thing that I really liked was that the dumpster look very clean for what it is! It did not look like the ones you see at major construction sites all dinged up and rusty. It looks like good quality. All in all, I would give them 4.5 stars out of 5!- Carlos H.

WASTE MANAGEMENTI've used WM since 2005, and they never miss a Mon/Sat pickup unless it's a holiday, and I'm always notified in advance. The only other service available is once a week Tiger, and they're cheaper, but I can never get through and have read several bad reviews about their customer service. WM is more expensive, and my cost has been going up every quarter. I paid $320 a quarter last April, and am paying $370 a quarter now. Was not notified of increases, incremental each quarter. Breakdown - $262 for pick up, $71.42 fuel/environment charge, $12.02 Regulatory cost recover charge (???), tax $21.61, San Antonio tax $1.73. I live outside the city, but we were just annexed. Will continue service but hope the price hikes stop.- Delia B.

1-800 Got Junk? - San AntonioGot Junk was very prompt and friendly and did an excellent job. But be forewarned, there is an additional "$50 dumping fee" if the materials need to be hauled to the dump, rather than recycled or donated. We were disappointed to find out about the dumping fee after we had entered into the agreement, but we decided to go ahead and use the service. We were pleased that the job was completed so quickly and thoroughly.- Suellen G.
