I must say that Temp control LLC from Woodbridge is one of the best companies around based on my experience with them. I called on a Saturday, Shai came a few hours later, performed the service, explained what the issues were and the next day he called back to ask if everything was doing well. Where do you find service like that? I can say without hesitation that anyone who gives a bad review to this company is either a competitor or someone who wants to damage this company on purpose because you cannot find this type of service anywhere. Buyer beware!!! They charge you $249 service fee to show up after 5pm and when they arrive they tell you the tech support for your manufacturer is not available until business hours the next business day. They return the next business day to tell you the part needed is not in stock and it will take a few days to arrive. Who has 2-3 days to wait at 30-35 degrees with no heat or hot water???? I went to a local plumbing supply company and brought the required part sealed in a box from the manufacturer, but Universe refused to install. I advised I would take responsibility for the part, they still refused to install leaving me with no heat... (maybe because there is no markup available when customer supplies the part?....I offered to pay a markup just to get heat in the house, they still refused). They claimed the job would cost $1,500. The required part was $75. Check out Sullivan Plumbing and Heating in Massapequa. They did the same job with my part for 20% of the price quoted by Universe Home Services. Mr. Sullivan is an honest plumber who does great work.

In our first summer in our new house, our central AC was not working. We hired someone from Angie's List and we immediately regretted it but after one day, we were too far in to back out. After a few days, we reached out to the company that had installed the AC, Breezin'. They were fast, professional, and thorough. When our boiler went down, the next winter we immediately reached out to Breezin and we had the same experience: very professional, prompt, and no worries about the quality/service. We will have them replace our water tank as well. Could not recommend them highly enough.

AJT Complete Construction LLCMoose and the team at Complete Heating and Cooling / Complete Construction were excellent to work with. 3 business days after signing the contract equipment is on-site and installing the header units. A day or two after that (mainly due to weather) the condenser was installed. The HVAC had to be charged and with any other contractor a homeowner would be thinking "when is he coming back?" - I didn't have to chase them down they came to me and within a day they setup a time to come and charge the units up ensure there were no leaks. Very professional and I look forward to future projects as they cover a vast array of construction areas.- Ryan W.

Arctic Air ConditioningWent smoothly as in previous years. This was the first year I needed some coolant added to the system. He explained the number readouts on the device hooked up to the unit. As soon as he added the coolant the numbers jumped up and the readings stayed where they should be at. We use Artic Air for the annual heating system check up as well. One year there was an issue with the heat turning off. The tech came and it was nothing more than a simple cleaning of a sensor needed. Highly recommended.- Michael B.
