    Solar Union was great. Prior to choosing this company, I did my research. I found out because of the nature or shape of my roof, not many companies were willing to work on a flat roof. This kept my choices to a minimum. I picked SU for the following: 1) They are local. I didn’t want to go with a big firm who only recognize you with your phone number. 2) SU did NOT harass me with a multitude of sales calls. And lastly 3) Considering that I needed to push off from the project from my original start date. I found out after the initial inspection, that my roof needed to be replaced prior to getting the panels installed. SU (Solar Union) was so understanding. The installers were great!! They were so understanding regarding my over crowded garage. And after the roof and installation, my only issue was the city permit office, they took forever. But over all I was thoroughly satisfied with SU from start to finish

    Mr. Alvaro and his staff arrived on time. They were professional, personable and knowledge about the project. We had lots of windows to clean both inside and outside. They also cleaned out our clogged gutters and washed our solar panels. They left the premises spotless. The price was reasonable for the job. I will definitely hire them again

    As a homeowner, the anxiety that comes with undertaking a major home improvement, such as a home solar system installation, quickly dissipated when Roger Pang, from Cinnamon Energy Systems, provided us with an informative and effective presentation on what his Company could deliver. The presentation was quite impressive; with Roger taking the time to explain the solar system components (in layman's terms) and patiently answered all our questions (we had many). Over the years, we have had a number of contractors, and we have to say, that the Cinnamon Energy Systems Teams were the best ever. There were two main teams; Ramiro Martinez supervised the solar panel installation (roof penetrations,roof hardware, rails, conduit, junction boxes, etc.). And Alejandro Rodriguez, Senior Electrician, and his assistant Moses were responsible for building the "heart" of the Solar System (all electrical connection for the battery, inverter, subpanel and Solar Edge monitoring). It was clear from the start, everyone in involved, operated on the principle that "quality" mattered in every phrase of the project. As both the solar panels and the "heart of the system" were being built / installed, people walking by noticed the quality, organization and cleanliness of the work being done on the project. Some of those same people asked if they could take photos of the solar panels on the house. Well done, Ramiro and many thanks to your hard-working crew. And to Alejandro Rodriguez, you're the best! You are truly the master of your craft. Thank you for your patience in allowing us to watch and learn how a Solar System is properly installed. Even our neighbor (who works for a competitor) had a look of appreciation when he saw the "final" products. Also, thank you all for accommodating our special requests in the design and allowing us to participate in problem-solving as the build was taking place.     We successfully used EnergySage to get broad range of quotes for our solar install completed May 2021 in Moraga CA. I had shortlisted Solar Optima and American Array Solar as they both had teams that were local and did not use contractors. One of the key reasons I selected American Array is I consistently spoke with the same person from the first quote until the signing of the contract. Julene was incredibly prompt on every question I asked and never pushy. I docusigned on April 7th and paid the final invoice May 14. Post signing there was continuous communication on the process, design and submitting the permits. I read reviews on many companies with a lot of drama which I am sure in cases was warranted. Our install with American Array was zero drama and it was incredibly easy. The install took a day, and the installers were all great, down to earth people and happy to talk me through how the technology worked. They were very organized and set up tables with all their supplies as a production line and that gave me even more confidence, they know their craft. They did not leave any trace they were here other than the panels on the roof. It’s a big decision and if you are like me and have read the horror stories you worry.     Valley Heating was courteous and professional at all times. They kept their promises and met their installation date. Because they were backlogged with heater repairs, they loaned us without charge an electric space heater for the interim. I wasn't satisfied with the exposed fiberglass batting applied to the base of the furnace. The crew told me that it was not routine to wrap the fiberglass. But Valley agreed to send a technician to wrap it later at no charge. They did so and now I'm a satisfied customer. My only complaint is that both the furnace and the AC rated at the low end of the efficiency scale, despite costing almost $9,000. Fortunately, the weather in Sunnyvale is mild so paying more for greater efficiency did not make sense

    We chose NRG for our solar installation. Everyone we worked with (especially Gemma and Leila) was incredibly helpful and responsive along every step of the process. They responded to emails and texts within a day or two at the most, but usually within a couple of hours. They were patient and very helpful with all of the questions we had (and we had many!), and they were happy to coordinate with other contractors that were doing work on our house at the same time. We did a fairly detailed analysis of the quality, cost, efficiencies, and expected lifetime of the equipment that NRG proposed compared to other companies, and we are confident that they provided the best equipment at the best cost. The installers that came to our house were very professional, worked quickly, and the system was up and running within hours - very impressive. We passed our inspection with no issues and the whole process was completely painless!     They came out and were pretty responsive, but the problem never got solved, but I had to call somebody else. They were just super busy at that time. They?came out and did a?temporary fix and told me to call them back when the rain stopped because they could not do a permanent fix at that time, which was okay. They charged me to come out. Regardless, when they come out I think it is, like, 300 bucks, I think is what they charge. I think they came out the next day. I would refer them. They are a very professional company to deal with.

    Made appointment, salesman showed up, went over options in great detail.&nbsp; Did not pressure me in any way to make a decision. <br /> After I did decide to go with them, salesman came back and I signed the contract and gave deposit.&nbsp; He said that it would take about 4 weeks for the permits to clear etc. and then only 2 days for the actual install. <br /> And this is the only complaint I have - I was not kept &quot;in the loop&quot; during that time, so after 6 weeks of nothing, I contacted them. <br /> They had to reschedule the installation several times because of a previous job running long - they ran into unexpected issues with the roof.&nbsp; BUT, they notified me each time - I was never left wondering if/when they were going to show up. <br /> When they did the work, I couldn't be more happy with them.&nbsp; The workers were polite, explained each step in detail, appeared to know exactly what they were doing.&nbsp; Cleaned up after themselves, I just really couldn't be happier with the actual installation guys and the work they did. <br /> After, they installed an online tracking system so that I can see exactly how each panel is working 24/7. <br /> I've had the system running now for about 3 weeks and everything is going smoothly. <br /> I would highly recommend them to anyone considering solar. <br /
