Recent Review: Dena Baldwin, the local sales representative in Thousand Oaks, presented all the options to me, responded to all my questions within hours of my e-mails, and was very proactive in making sure things were progressing as quickly as possible. When Dena found out the electrical panel would have to be replaced, which was not part of her original estimate, she arranged to split the cost! Dena continued to check in with me up through the approval to turn on the system. All the planning and installation teams were wonderful - the person who came to inspect the roof and plan the installation site, the folks who installed the support structures, those who installed the solar panels and new electrical panel, Tony who installed the monitoring system and taught me how to review the function of the system, and Adrian who did the stucco repair. All teams arrived when they said they would, met the inspectors as planned, and explained exactly what they would be doing. This was the best possible sales and installation experience I could have hoped for! Wonderful customer service.

Recent Review: I have a older, 3.8 KWatt solar panel with a battery backup system that I had installed in 2001. A component in the system had failed, and the first electrician I called took a look and said they weren't qualified to deal with solar - best to call the company that did the installation. The company that sold & installed the system was out of business. Many solar companies I called will only service the systems they installed; Earth Electric was one of the few who would come out to a diagnosis and work on the system. Because of the age of the system, and the complexity of having the battery backup (which was only used about 3 times in the past 14 years), I wanted the system reconfigured to remove the battery backup, and the inverter replaced. The job was done on schedule, and my solar panel system has been working well.

Recent Review: Amazing price and service. I was concerned that all heating and air conditioning company's were the same but then I met Josh the owner of Jim's. He lets his price and quality of his install and equipment speak for themselves. Most other companies were thousands more for lower quality equipment. Josh explained everything and delivered the best price for the best product. He is on the job with his super friendly employees and leaves things cleaner than when they arrive. He also does solar and tankless water heaters and will call him when I start those projects.

Recent Review: The guy who came out was very good and provided me with an estimate. I did a research on the manufacturer they were using at that time. I choose to use a different company's product to install the solar panels in my roof. The guy came out, we went outside and he took a look at the roof. We discussed basically what panels would need to go. We talked about the process and panels but because of trees in my yard I'm limited to really high efficient panels. Although I have a large roof area most of it is in the shade and there is only a relatively small area that you can actually put solar panels on my roof. The guy was great and their quote was great but the manufacture the company was using at that time was not efficient enough to provide enough power with the service area they had to work with. He was punctual and looked into things. He got information and followed up which was all great. What stopped me was the manufacturer of the actual panel they installed. I would definitely use them again but not for solar panels.

Recent Review: I installed solar on my roof with Akeena Solar in 2006. The inverter came with a 10-year warranty and after 9 years it failed. Although Akeena shut its doors, their former CEO Barry Cinnamon now heads up Cinnamon Solar and he was responsive and happy to help, despite technically being at a new company with no legal responsibility for Akeena's installs. Cinnamon Solar obtained a warranty replacement for the inverter and installed it free of charge for me. I really appreciate Barry's commitment to older customers and that they were willing to help me out like this. I will definitely be recommending Cinnamon Solar to my friends if any of them are in the market for a solar array.

Recent Review: I had talked to many solar companies and specially the big names. Then i talked to Daniel from Gold Rush Energy Solutions. He was very nice and polite and listened to all my questions and explained me all the advantages of the solar system and its different options with the solar panels available in the market and the invertor systems. He was not really pushy like all other solar companies will definitely do. Once i finalized the system with them, it took 1-2 weeks only to get it approved and permits and installation. Also approval from PG&E was also very quick and my system was running perfectly as it was explained and the way it should be. Also the installation crew were very professional and finished up the job on time and also cleaned up everything and also painted the conduits and pipes used on the wall. They were professional and neat as they worked. Also the online monitoring system is working perfectly as expected. I have seen the installation for other solar systems in my neighborhood and i could see the difference. I will definitely recommend GOLD RUSH ENERGY SOLUTIONS than the big companies, as you will get good service and personal attention than the corporate service which you don't know who you are talking to and might be different salesperson every few months. I will definitely recommend to all my friends. Finally A HAPPY CUSTOMER.
