Fast forward three years later when we plan on doing some work to our house. County tells us our plat is incomplete as it does not have house on it. Tried contacting this company 3 times in span of one week to get original work updated. No reply. Highly unprofessional. If you can't handle basic administrative tasks like calling people back in a prompt manner, you should not be in business. Also, company never explained why the original work was incomplete. Found another surveyor at a reasonable rate who agreed to do job in quick time. Update 3/2014 It is funny how some people stretch the truth and others flat out lie. As we stated in the original review, the surveyor never even responded to 3 calls. Therefore, we never requested any discount, or as he calls it, 'gratis', as we never spoke to anyone there. If people make mistakes, I can deal with that. If people are liars, I can't. Caveat emptor (buyer beware).

It went spectacularly well. I am pretty sure I received a call back within a hour and they offered to come out virtually the next business day. We then had days of torrential rain (you can't survey in the rain). I think they kept in ocntact with us every day and it seemed to me that they felt worse about the weather than we did (and obviously there is nothing they could do, but when the rain stopped they were here and did the job. They were just great!

Recent Review: Borderline was highly recommended by the fence installer. I had some problems getting the right contact info, but once I did Brennan was extremely helpful. Borderline easily beat the other surveyor quotes. Borderline is in demand and we had to wait more than a week for an opening. Borderline kept me informed, came as promised, and completed the job quickly and professionally.

They had to correct mistakes that had been made by other surveyors in the past and follow up with making sure the job was done correctly. Tom's team discovered that the neighbor had a fence and a significant amount of debris on the property that we were buying, and we had to delay closing two and a half weeks to resolve the issue. While I was at the property looking at the issue, Tom's team was there doing the lot staking, and his team agreed to place some additional stakes to help me resolve the issue. Once the issue was resolved (the fence was removed), Tom's team promptly came out to re-survey and delivered a new plat within 24 hours.
