R&E CHIEF SEPTIC LLCThank goodness for Mastero Edgar, his family and Crew! It was a dark and stormy night in Feb 2021, icy yard and flooded basement. We had cleared our septic tank 3 months prior and the basement flooded with clean water! We had hired a plumbing company 2 nights in a row...no clear answers despite hours of work!! Then I reached Angie.. Mr. Edgars daughter , Mr. Edgar overheard me, and spoke to me at 8:45 pm... on a Saturday night !!!! He did not have to... but he did. He found the problem....the following day I watched the most synchronized orchestra by the team ! Still mesmerized by the way the work was carried out! I work in health care, I am a business woman and I love classical music! Let me tell you all, their work is innovative! Great Falls Septic Service IncAlmost universally speaking, septic problems on weekends are never a good thing. Our basement started flooding and we discovered it as a septic issue. I started calling around — most businesses could not help until several days later. I finally called Josh at Great Falls Septic’s emergency line. He came quickly and had a swift plan of attack upon arrival. He give me the rundown of the problem, and gave us advice on how to avoid issues in the future. Josh was reliable, smart, skilled and honest. And well priced. I can not say enough good things about josh and Great Falls Septic. A&A SepticAbout five years ago, I had alarms going off on my septic system. I told the contractor to go ahead and do what needed to be done on the system. This was a highly recommended company online. They replaced both pumps and the electrical panel I called them again when the system failed with alarms on the panel. They came out and told me that they needed to replace basically everything but the motors. I call A & A for a second opinion. It was good I did. Rick Aits and his associate came out in one day. After about a half-hour of expert troubleshooting. Rick identified and isolated the cause of the problem. It's obvious that his knowledge and 40 years of experience really made the difference. I should also mention that he was very courteous and professional, but what blew me away that when I gave him a check for the amount of the estimate, he told me I overpaid. No contractor ever did that for me in my 64 years on this earth. I hope that whoever is reading this called A & A. I don't want to sound like a commercial. If you're like me you take reviews with a grain of salt. (Because no one wants to say anything negative). This five-star review should be ten stars because their off the charts good.- Rick S.

Great Falls Septic Service IncGreat Falls Septic pumped out our septic tank and they did a great job! Kurt was the service technician that came out and he was so polite and professional and called me before he headed our way and arrived right on time. He even took photos of where the tank head was located as we could not remember, and texted them to me. He gave us advice on things to do to help keep build up from occurring which I really appreciated. We had another company pump out our tank the previous time and they were terrible. Nugent & Sons fixed pendant kitchen lights that had detached from broken ceiling boxes. Nugent gave a $211 estimate to repair a single light. Total time for the repairs to three lights was close to three hours; the first light repair took about half that time. The repairs appear to have been well done. But we believe the bill was excessive, and unjustified. We paid the $1071 on site. The invoice was delivered later, and consisted of two unintelligible charges: “Customer Provided Lighting Fixture*Each $633", and “Miscellaneous Minor Repair $438". Asked for an explanation of the invoice, the Nugent accounting office (Chris) said that $211 for each of the three lights was the total of $633, as estimated. And the $438? The explanations offered changed, conflicted, and became increasingly creative. Among the explanations for the $438 were the following. ● Nugent charged $40 for each electrical ceiling box installed to support the lights. Nugent said $40 was a reduction from its “book rate” of $65 each. Those same boxes sell at Home Depot for approximately $3 each, less when purchased in quantity. ● The remaining $318 ($438 - $120) was for extra time, beyond 45 minutes, for each of the three repairs, billed in one-half hour increments, which is the shortest time increment Nugent bills. However, in our home, two of the three lights were repaired within 45 minutes. (Note that if each of three repairs runs over the 45 minutes by only a minute or two, Nugent will charge $318 for an additional one and one-half hours of work.) ● Nugent argued that the extra charges were justified by what Nugent “saved” us in drywall repairs by not needing to cut the drywall. So the less Nugent does, the more it charges. We were never told before or during the jobs that there might be additional charges for time or for materials – and certainly not for such excessive and creative pricing of time and materials. Consequently, we cannot recommend Nugent & Sons to others.

I am very glad Shenandoah Septic worked on my septic field. Mr. O'Connor is very professional and experienced, and got right back to me when I called. He identified the specific issues with my septic field, and solved my multiple problems. Mr. O’Connor did everything he could to limit the time that my system was unavailable and did his best to engage the county right before a holiday. Shenandoah Septic to did the highest quality work with the best materials for the job. I will use Shenandoah Septic again when I need help with my septic system.

I was extremely pleased with Five Star Septic. I called on a Wednesday to have my septic tank pumped, and they were able to schedule me right away. The people who answer the phone are very polite and professional. When the tech performing the service was delayed, the office called to let me know why and that he was on the way. The tech, Ariel, was very professional, very respective of my property, and very efficient. I would not hesitate to call and work with Five Star Septic again.
