I used Mr. Handyman to replace a lock on the exterior doors to my business on 12/7/17. Two days later, our key got stuck in the new lock. After working on it for a while, we were finally able to get it out. Two days after that, the same thing happened when we were closing up at the end of the day. This time we were not able to get the key out and we were locked out of the building. We contacted Mr. Handyman to schedule someone to come out and fix the issue. When the technician arrived, he fiddled with the key for a bit and then said that he was going to try pliers. He retrieved a set of pliers and tried to twist and pull the key out, resulting in the key breaking off in the lock. He then said there was nothing else he could do. He said he would go to the office and tell them what happened and he suggested we call a locksmith. The appointment that day was before their office opened so my Office Manager contacted the "after hours" call service to report what had happened. The call taker took down all information and said the office would contact us as soon as it opened. My Office Manager then sat in the parking lot waiting to hear back from Mr. Handyman because she was locked out of our building. We eventually had to get a different company to come out and they were able to drill the cylinder and replace the lock set. To this day (2+ months later), I have not gotten a call from Mr. Handyman. The only communication I received was a survey asking whether I would recommend the company to others and an invoice for the original service date. I am appalled by the quality of their work and by their customer service. The key got stuck in the brand new lock within 36 hours of them replacing it and then their technician who was supposed to fix the lock, did nothing except break the key off in the lock. I ended up having to spend money to have a locksmith come out on an emergency basis so that we could be open for business. At the very least, Mr. Handyman should have offered some assistance to us after their technician broke the key off in the lock. If their technician did not know how to fix the problem, he shouldn't have tried. The only thing he did was make the situation worse and then throw his hands up and tell us there was nothing else he could do.

This contractor was terrible. The doors were scuffed in may places. the workmanship was terrible. I asked them several times to clean up after themselves. 2 $18,000 doors and they could not be bothered to even clean the glass. I still need to bring someone in to clean up. They did not complete some trim work that they promised to do. After they got there money they would not respond to my calls. Extremely unprofessional.

I got an email back from my inquiry the next business day from Ryan, who said he'd be out to take a look. At some point he realized this was a commercial building, and he does not do commercial work. He attempted to reach me by phone but could not. They were apparently very busy when I requested the estimate, so he did not get back with an email right away. I got other bids from other companies. Companies who did mostly commercial work bid in the $5-7,000, well out of our price range, and ridiculous. I got a bid from Home Depot to do the work, and they told me they used Just Doors to do the installation. However, it seems that they did not tell me the truth, and so I wrote an earlier review with incorrect information, for which I apologize to Ryan who followed up with me promptly and offered to help us find someone to do our door for a more reasonable price.

We have used their service before in our garage with no complaints but I was very disappointed this time. I had asked in writing to have 2 commercial deadbolts. My husband who was working intermittently at home and requested adding a commercial locking door knob to the front door. The front door locks are sturdy and seem secure. I wasn't pleased but I could have lived with the garage door knob lock replacement; however, it is worse than the previous standard builder's lock. It appears to go no more than 1/8 inch into the plate. Also none of the plates on the doorframes were replaced/upgraded. This was suppose to include a security check. He should have noticed that his work there did not appear very secure. Hoping for a re-do.

Company came out quickly, repaired door in timely manner, and had very reasonable rates. We used another company prior to our experience with them, who did not reply on time, and did not fix our door. (Beware of Overhead Door Company). Thank you Fred C. Johnson Co., Inc.!

Joshua was very prompt and communicative. He refuted the issue we brought him out to repair, identified the correct problem and repaired the door. We then had another issue with our front lock and he fixed the tumbler and provided additional non=duplicating keys. Both of these problems had been “repaired” by other locksmiths. His pricing was very fair and we could not be happier.

Jim from American Windows came and presented the same style and quality of windows that Thompson Creek and Window Nation have, but $7K and $5K less respectively. American Windows does not have the annoying jingles, commercials, and other expensive advertising to pay for; so, the price was enormously less. The installers were great; very professional.

Arranged to have Vern come out to give us an estimate on a couple of minor construction projects. He was not timely with his communications. Had to follow up with him several times to see when I would receive the estimate. Seemed he was busy on a commercial tenant improvement. On the last email, he promised he would deliver it, "without fail" the following day. Never heard from him after that. If the job was too small, he should have just said that, rather than waste my time.

I am in commercial construction and have seen my fair share of shoddy work and good work. As I have said previously the door and transom installation was superb, very good work Ryan prefers to use quality products from manufacturers like Andersen, Provia and Pella among others.

Technician came out and was very polite, friendly, professional and provided his opinion on a few services he recommended for various areas of my house. He was not salesy nor pushy about the services. The installation of the deadbolt and door lock went well and he made sure I tested it thoroughly and was satisfied prior to leaving. Although the price was higher than I anticipated its great to know I have new commercial grade locks on the door after having tenants in prior to me purchasing the home.

We hit about every hurdle possible in the formation of our new business, and hurdles are unavoidable, but a good contractor can make all those problems seem much smaller. Billy and the guys from KingCaire Construction really went above and beyond to help us every step of the way. They built to code even when our plans were sub-par. Their work was impeccable, the pricing fair, and the staff were timely and professional. I highly recommend them. I will upload photos of the finished project when we finish our part.

The overall job went Great! MC Commercial & Residential Construction LLC and the project manager, Mr. Reyes were totally professional at all time while working in my home. They completed all the described work listed in the original estimate on time and on schedule. Mr. Reyes was very helpful with the design process by bring samples of cabinets, flooring, title, granite and paint to my home. The work commenced on 12/04/17 and was completed on 12/14/2017 (No weekend work).

Mike Laudicina and his sons, Chris and Tim, and everyone who worked on this job were courteous and highly professional. They were on time and knew exactly what they were doing. They took the time to explain what they were going to do and then did it. All the subcontractors did this as well. They are a Residential & Commercial Construction company

He assured me that he would be able to complete the project in the required amount of time and he and his team often worked 16+ hour days to make sure that they finished on time. They certainly did complete it on time and the work that they completed was absolutely flawless. RG Contractor gave us an unbelievable quote for an entire build out of our healthcare practice in Mclean, a project that included plumbing, electrical, flooring, mechanical and painting. The project was completed ahead of time and exceeded expectations. RG is a good guy who cares about his clients, which made the process painless (both mentally and financially)! I was so pleased with them for the commercial work, that I hired them for our house kitchen remodeling as well. Given this job was performed at an office I wanted to complete the work on the weekend or late evening if possible and have the work completed prior to office hours starting. ICM showed up on a Saturday. The owner Israel showed up early. He introduced me to his employee. He explained and verified the process of work prior to starting. He evaluated the process and explained the unknowns but left me confident the process would be completed on time. He confirmed location of door and movement of the electricity. He listened to my needs and wants and achieved my goals. He was on site the entire time with a smile and positive attitude. The installation was clean, efficient, and done on time. I am very pleased with the work and I intend to work with ICM on other projects for both the office and my home.

They were extremely professional. They called back immediately when called. The installation was very fast. They were all business and there was no "funny business."
