We had used Tom at Tile with Style four years ago for our master bathroom and trusted he would do excellent work on the the hall bathroom. At his store, they had the perfect selection for the style I had in mind. He installed tile flooring, vanity, mirrors, backsplash, & tiled tub surround. His electrician was wonderful and tacked another job for me. He and Tom had suggestions to upgrade with an extra can light in and a timer for the exhaust fan. Tom was so easy to work with and went the extra mile to make sure I was happy. I highly recommend Tile with Style!

I was one of those clients who had one thing after another go wrong (simply due to the subpar materials originally installed in my house). Jonathan and his crew were wonderful helping me get though it, answering my questions, and coming out when unexpected things happen. The work is of wonderful quality. Jonathan is great about answering texts/calls/emails really fast. There is complete honesty with everything throughout the process. This project has been 5 years in the making, and Jonathan was one of my original estimates and he was my only 'second' estimate, that's how impressed I was even 5 years ago. Jonathan worked with my budget, even the unexpected parts, and is willing to work with you to get what you need at a price you can afford. Jonathan let me do the demo myself, but then he and his crew did: new plumbing, new floor, new drywall in walls and ceiling, new electrical, new bathtub, new tile shower, new doors, new baseboard molding, new fixtures, and new bath fans. Everything was done within 1 months time. All in all, Affordable Remodeling is hands down, 100% the way to go. I will absolutely hire them again when it comes time for further projects.- Patricia M.

Jam Carolina ExteriorsI was extremely impressed with the professionalism, quality, value, and comprehensive range of services Jam Carolina Exteriors provided me. I have a house rental that is long drive from my primary residence that had numerous repairs that I wanted a one-stop shop to address. The major repairs included - 2 exterior door replacements due to water damage - Subfloor repairs radiating from the threshold of each door, also due to the water damage - Linoleum replacement on top of the subfloor I also had a grab-bag of exterior trim, stair decking, and fascia that required about 60 boards to be replaced, painted, and in some areas gutters to be replaced. Given a budget of about $10,000, I had gathered quotes from numerous contractors big and small, and was disappointed in the lack of detail in those quotes, until I met with James from Jam. He provided an extremely detailed action plan and list of materials in his estimate for the major repairs. No other estimate I received was - Nearly as detailed, or - Prepared to handle all the major work components I then called him back to get another quote on the exterior trim grab-bag, and his quote for that work was just as precise and reasonable. I then approved both estimates. Given the distance from my primary residence I was not able to monitor the work onsite. However, Chris, James, and Brandon kept in touch via calls, text and pics. In addition, my tenant provided updates as well, and she was appreciative of the status updates and respect Brandon and the Jam crew showed her. There are always surprises that happen on a job of this scope. In those cases, the Jam team was always proactive and able to provide upfront options. They finished the job within the budget. During the final walkthrough James made sure every itemized repair in the estimates were reviewed and approved by me. I feel confident that the repairs will outlast the 10 year guarantee they supplied. I will definitely look for Jam Carolina Exteriors to handle my primary residence as well for any future remodeling project.- JEFFREY C.

Kanne Contracting, LLCI have been a homeowner for well over 20 years, so I've hired more contractors and handymen than I can recall. I am admittedly "picky", so I always sought the highest rated, even if it meant paying more. Regardless, I was always disappointed -- until I found Chris (~2016). I've hired Chris for exclusively since then. He has replaced about 20 windows, replaced/repaired tons of rotting exterior trim, repaired water damage caused by the rotting trim, replaced and repaired interior trim and drywall, spackled, caulked and painted to complete the repairs, and resolved various other handyman-type issues such as doors not latching. His workmanship is superb, his work is clean and efficient and he is a joy to work with, yet his rates are very reasonable -- and you know he will be doing the work, not a random group of workers that show up.- kerry m.
