Josh, with Carpenters LLC, is PERFECT if you are into DIY and want to save some money on your remodel.
WE SAVED A TON OF MONEY by doing the following on our kitchen and living room remodel:
- Demolition of the old walls and floors. I used the roll-off dumpster that he had delivered to my home.
- Wiring electrical and installing lights, I happen to have experience with this.
- Prepping for hardwood floors and tile.
- Assembling our cabinets. This saved over $4000 and was easy!
- Painting the walls and celling after Josh had a drywaller match the texture perfectly.
- Tiling the backsplash. I borrowed Josh's tile saw for free.
In all of this, Josh would schedule his team around my timeline, which took quite a while because I have a full time job.
Josh provided expertise in designing our new kitchen and helping us navigate the purchase of floors, cabinets, counters, and appliances. His team also did the following:
- Start and finish the hardwood floors.
- Install large format floor tile.
- Install cabinets and counters.
- Install appliances and the hood.
- Making everything look BEAUTIFUL!!!
I cannot recommend Carpenters, LLC highly enough! They can complete your remodel 100% or they can help you save money if you don't mind doing some DIY.

Words were hard to find when I finally found a contractor that knew what they was doing and provided excellent service. We had a foundation leak that resulted in major repairs and mold clean up in our basement. I have had many repair people promise services, but never have I had a contractor that not only delivered what he promised, he did more. The work was absolutely beautiful. Mister Fixxit takes pride in his work, follows through on all commitments he makes, and delivered more than we expected. He consulted with us throughout the repairs and apprised us of ongoing progress. Once you use Mister Fixxit, you will never want another contractor to do anything more for you. I can t remember the last time we had a contractor who came so fully prepared, they didn t even ask for a broom when they cleaned up after themselves. YES, they cleaned up after themselves besides doing such a professional job on our home. Our home is so much more comfortable and looks so nice. THANK YOU, Mister Fixxit!!!

Mike has done my entire unfinished basement and his work ethics and willingness to work with changing design needs is exceptional. Mike's patience and quality of work is exceptional. His only goal is to ensure that customer is happy and he doesn't hesitate to redo things if customer wanted differently. I'm so happy with Robert's work, work ethic, communication and attention to detail that I'll be hiring him for additional projects. It's wonderful to work with someone who takes pride in his work and ensures you are comfortable every step of the way.
Robert patched the bathroom subfloor and spackled many rooms in the house that showed cracking due to settling or water damage (around windows). In addition, he replaced a toilet, hung a heavy mirror, and replaced bathroom lights. All of this was done with care.
I work from home and my kids often school from home and he made sure to avoid noise during meetings, etc. He was also generous with his expertise, open to discussing ideas, but never pushed to take on more than was requested. I'm happy to share such a good experience.
