We had a great experience with Rich and his team for a diverse list of projects we needed done inside and outside our home (fan and light replacement, curtain installation, rotted wood replacement, finishing part of our basement, repairing and weatherproofing doors, caulking). Rich advised us on affordable options, gave us a detailed and specific quote with creative solutions (e.g. for a water shutoff cover panel in an awkward location), communicated proactively about scheduling issues (some of our project needed good weather conditions), were extremely courteous and tidy in completing the projects, talked us through parts of the projects as they went, and did a final walkthrough. We would definitely hire them again next time we need something done around the house.

We highly recommend House Doctors of Columbia. Very high quality work at a truly good price. We are pleased.
Chris did a superior job on the carpentry of our front door. He had to "stick build" the framing and the end product was absolutely AWESOME. Loved his creative solution on this difficult task.
We got our quote quickly (the office manager was responsive & easy to work with). We plan on hiring House Doctors to install new shutters and several more jobs.
They do great work.

We recently completed a project with AHI - a new screened in porch and deck, complete with a ceiling fan, recessed lighting, and beautiful finishing touches.
AHI was amazing from start to finish. Irshad (on site) and Nanda (in office) were both incredible to work with. From the start, they were easy to communicate with, responsive to inquires, and all around friendly and professional. They regularly communicated with us regarding availability of materials/supplies, their timeline for completion of work, and a fair price - there were no surprises!
Irshad and the crew who worked on site were courteous, professional, and did excellent work. Irshad gave us near-daily updates on the status of the project, and took great pride in providing us with a finished product that we will love for years to come. He was attentive to every detail throughout the process. The crew cleaned up so well each day when they left and when the project was completed they had it sparkling and ready for immediate use.
I can't say enough positive things about our experience with AHI. We can't wait to hire them again for future projects in our home.

Charles repaired and updated our 27 years old screened porch. He covered our stained wooden porch with vinyl (inside and out) and added windows with screens. It turned out amazing. Charles has years of experience. His knowledge of construction is outstanding. His crew are extremely skilled and respectful. Charles made sure the foundation of the porch was structurally sound before any other work was started. Charles met with us many times to discuss the design/plan before the work began. He was patient with us as we changed the design many times before the work begin. He listened to us. The materials he used were the highest quality. His cost was reasonable and fair. I was very paticular (picky) about what I wanted and questioned every phase of the project - Charles listened and was kind, patient, and worked hard to achieve what I wanted. He answered all my questions and listened to any concerns I had. You will not go wrong if you hire this company. I hope Charles will work with us again for future projects.
