Magnolia Home Remodeling GroupWe worked with Chris from Magnolia on a second floor remodel and were extremely happy with the process and results. The reno included demolition, framing for new roofline and dormers, roof and gutters, siding, new master bathroom, master closet, laundry space, wood floor and stairs, doors, millwork, tiling, masonry for a chimney extension, windows, and central air system. Chris is a great guy, very easy to work with it, trustworthy, and responsive. He hires skilled subcontractors and kept the reno moving at a good pace. There were no surprises with either the budget or scope of work. Magnolia made our dreams come true with this reno and we would definitely recommend them for your job.- Beth H.

Gaudioso ContractingWent well. My family lived in the house during the 4+ month reno and the crew were always clean, respectful and kind. They would wipe down the floor protectors 1x per week and upon request. Project manager Luis took feedback on progress of job and always reacted/corrected promptly. Was visible on site every 2-3 days, but would always show up at the appointed time upon request and with helpful constructive solutions, many at no additional cost to me. Would never slam me with requests for last minute material needs where I would need to make a decision without reasonable notice. I was my own project manager for everything but the bathrooms, where I had a designer, and Luis could speak in both designer language and in 'normal person without construction experience' language at all times without dumbing things down. Would always explain the 'why' when he would explain the construction possibilities. They did parquet throughout the top floor in keeping with the rest of the 1920s townhouse that looks great. Across the board everyone exhibits great care in the final work product. Owner Anthony also straightforward and clear in all communication and office manager Allison helpful and attentive.- Alesa N.

JBL HOME IMPROVEMENTS INCThis is our second time using JBL home improvement. Dave and the JBL crew are excellent people to work with. They started work right away and Dave kept us informed of possible delays with furnishings due to the Pandemic. He always followed up with the cabinet and granite manufacturers and kept us informed of their progress. The crew was excellent and clean. Everyday they left all work areas clean. They always gave us options and opinions for furnishing placement. We are looking forward to using JBL for our future home renovations.- Joseph C.

MC Home Improvements and ConstructionMC Home did an incredible job customizing our new home. We found them August 2020, moved into the house October 2020 and began work in November. The crew was a delight to have at the house everyday while we were home working, of course noisy with the demo but we made it work! Availability for materials/doors/windows delayed the project at times which was out of their control. Word of advice during home remodel during Covid, don't delay decision making! Eric did a great job explaining things that we didn't know or other ways to think of how to build/style. The sunroom is hands down our favorite room in the house. The fireplace needed a makeover - MC Home gave some great suggestions on trim/moulding styles and it was done in a week. Overall, I appreciated the time Eric and the team took to make sure we understood the process and keeping us in the loop as it progressed each week. Project costs were reasonable and in line with industry standard. We'll definitely recommend them to friends/family and use MC Home in the future!- Candace K.

I have worked with this team for 5 years now on more projects than I can count. I have never been disappointed. Their office is fast, accurate and knowledgeable and their field work is just as excellent. The field crews always show up on time and the on-site work is effectively communicated to their office and in-turn myself. It is hard to find a go-to contractor but NY Empire is the most reliable and consistently great electrician in NY I've had the pleasure of working with.
