Have had several Christmas gift exchange celebrations at Faz with friends so decided to have our family Christmas dinner there and was not disappointed. Everyone was impressed with the ambiance, the decor and especially the buffet. This is one fantastic dining experience whatever the occasion.See more
As always, the food and atmosphere were great. Birk's has the best truffle fries!See more
Unique and flavorful dishes, excellent serviceSee more
We had dinner here Sunday evening. Our waiter was extremely personable and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious (we had the special pizza, minestrone soup, salads, and the apple tart with salted caramel gelato for dessert). I asked for the remainder of my salad to be boxed, and also requested a bowl of the minestrone to go, since it was SO incredibly delicious. When I opened the package the next day for lunch, I discovered the waiter had tucked in some of their delicious bread and olive oil/vinegar dip so I had a complete meal. What a nice touch to top of a perfect evening!See more
The waiters were amazing and the food was to die for. Definitely worth the wait. If I could live there and eat just that I would.See more
What's not to like about CasCal? Whether selecting from the lengthy Tapas list or the larger plates, there's no "same-o, same-o!" Each dish is unique, well executed, full of flavors and textures. For "newbies," highly recommend Spanish Tapas Sampler, almost a meal in itself. But, better to share the sampler with four or more and then share on of the Paellas. Another idea, the ceviche sampler, or any one of the Slow Roasted items. Very good wine and cocktail lists. The environment is high energy, but the noise level is tolerable. Big PLUS? Open continuously from 11:30 AM to 10 PM, or maybe later, 7 days a week!See more
My husband and I dined there on New Year's Eve and I can fully understand some of the negative comments, e.g. "We left hungry" and "overpriced". If you're looking for a 3-4 course, stick-to-your-ribs meal, then this is not the place for you. However, if you're looking for an adventure in food and wine, then that's quite another story. For the high prices, you're paying for the thought, creativity, and labor behind each morsel. Though one taste presented to me was not to my liking (nori wrapped potato), and the celeriac and uni could have been served warmer, those were the only two minor comments I can lend to the chef. Everything else was superb. Timing between courses was appropriate, allowing us to savor rather than devour each item presented to us. Each dish was like sipping wine . . . you're supposed think about the flavors on your palate to fully appreciate what you're eating. Beer with foie gras? Who would have thought. And the chance to taste A5 Japanese Wagu, truly an experience. No, after a four-hour, eleven course meal I did not feel hungry, nor did I feel stuffed. I did leave quite pleased with the experience and felt more educated about food, wine, and their appreciation.See more
My only complaint is that we had a reservation for 5:30 PM and didn't get seated until 5:35 PM because the dining room wasn't ready yet. I think they should be ready by 5:20 if they accept reservations for 5:30. The wine list is extensive but way overpriced. I expect markups, but these are huge. Anyway, those are my only two complaints, everything else was superb. We enjoyed the steaks and also chefs treats/cleansers in between courses. The service was spectacular. I loved it that the meals (for 5 of us) always arrived simultaneously. The main waiter Kitty was awesome and also patiently answered our 8-year old's many questions.See more
We had a group of 8 for my adult daughter's birthday party. We were seated in a semi-private area that made conversation easy. Two of our party were running late but there was no pressure from the staff. They served drinks, bread, and appetizers until they arrived. The food ordered was mostly beef with various sides. When the food arrived, at the same time, all the orders were cooked to order and correct. The kitchen had run out of one of the deserts so the General Manager came over, appologised and gave us a couple of desserts on the house. We chose the Sunnyvale Black Angus because it was centrally located for the people coming, but this was such an enjoyable experience we will most certainly be coming back.See more
We dined here years ago on Christmas Day, and we were some of the only people in the place. This time, however, the restaurant was packed. I can see why, since the food is excellent - starting with the hot bread, all the way through dessert. Husband had veal scallopini and said it was great. I had the penne with eggplant, which was also very good. My kryptonite has always been bread pudding, and theirs is TDF. This is a great place for Italian food.See more
Very good service, we would go again. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the atmosphere was perfect for our lunch meeting.See more
Frequent diner here. Always a great weekly buffet and the weekend one was even better. Have had a la carte meals here as well. Bit pricey then but well worth it.See more
Our party of three had Thanksgiving dinner there. My husband had halibut with tomato risotto. He pronounced it execellent. My friend and I each had the turkey dinner. I was impressed with the bread/cranberry stuffing and the perfectly prepared tiny brussels sprouts. I am fussy about brussels sprouts. Usually I set them aside because so many restaurants do not know how to prepare them. The pumpkin bisque and the chicken orzo soup were excellent. The salad was arugula sprouts with a cheese topping and dressing. It has been a few days and so I do not remember what the dressing or cheese were. The dessert table was eye-popping. We will definitely go back.See more
Its simply a gem of a place...the ambiance, the staff, the food, the bar and of course the wonderful owner Steve. Eveyone I've taken there or recommended simply loves the place. So lucky to live here and enjoy restaurants like Bushido. Thanks Steve.See more
Went on a Friday night. We were seated almost immediately. Service was fantastic. Was in the mood for exploration, so we had stuffed dates (wrapped in bacon) and brussels sprouts sauteed with bacon. Bacon makes everything better, but Scratch elevated this concept to new heights. the sea bass special was perfectly spiced and cooked. The slaw that went with it was an excellent complement. A companion ordered steamed mussels, which are generally trash in my opinion, but I'm not going to hold that against Scratch for having them on the menu.See more

My wife and I are thrilled that so much of what we loved over the years at Fiesta Del Mar is living on at Agave. The friendly waiters, great food (mole and guajillo sauces) and good drinks will bring us back on a frequent basis. We also love the queso fundido!See more
I loved this place. It was recommended to me for a friends birthday lunch. It is hidden in a non descript strip mall and was a total surprise. Our waiter was the best we have had in a long time. It was there on Thursday and now it is Saturday and going with my husband for dinner.See more
The owner will write a poem to your guest for their special day! They even sing to you for those romantic occasions or birthdays/anniversaries. Great food! They made it very memorable for my birthday.See more
Such a great experience for our group of 11! Everything was well paced and everyone loved their food.See more
Great food, aesthetically presented. Salads are extraordinary and a wonderful value. Sharing a number of dishes allows for a cornucopia of tastes. Each dining area has its unique qualities; the green room is quiet and allows for more intimate conversation. A sensational dining experience.See more
Everything was great from the service to the food. The only con was the music they were playing. It felt like we were having dinner at a club... I thought if I turn around I would see people dancing behind me.See more
Wonderful food and a delightful waiter!See more
Our waiter was a little strange, maybe he was new, but when asked about the water he said "you're lucky we even have any", he went on to say it was well water, he didn't think it was purified. the food as ever was tasty & big portions. I felt it was very loud, but that is just me.See more
Great food, reasonable price, nice ambiance... very polite staff and owner. We will come back for sure!See more
Having visited this location a few times before, figured it would be a great choice for early New Years Eve meal. Going early - 5 ish was perfect for us, staff was ready for a busy night, welcoming and well prepared for the later crowd. We ere allowed to take our time to enjoy the delicious warm pretzel appetizer and the happy hour price drink menu!! PBR and a shot of Jameson for $5 is a steal any day of the week! The main dishes were filling, presented well with all the hoped for sauces. Steak was cooked well, tater tots and fried fish were sinfully delicious! A great meal that lived up to our expectations in a fun environment.See more
Our experience was beyond amazing. The food was excellent and extremely memorable! The service was top notch, the drinks were delicious and the ambiance was perfect! A big thank you to Ed Tracy for making our evening great :)See more
I only condition the seafood as raw as we've only had poke bowls here -- but they are very, very good. The salmon yummy (I think it was) and the Vietnamese oyster things were worth of 2x2 pieces each. You will not be disappointed at all.See more
Order the humus with fresh pita bread. Try the Greek olive dip with is off the chart for your taste buds. I usually get the combo giro meat plate. It has chicken, lamb and beef strips of meat served over pitas. Tonight I had dinner with a group of 6 and we all had fresh Greek salads. The feta was amazing. Then we had the kabobs where the meat was tender and juicy. It was hard to save room for the baklava since they are such generous plates, but you must try the baklava- I've not had it better anywhere else and I am from NYC, so when I say this place rocks! You can believe it does!See more
I and my wife were trying to find a real restaurant to have a good evening with a glass of wine. This place is a real restaurant, not a fast food type of establishments. So we were very happy that we discovered this gem!See more

We have been coming to Pezzella's for many years and we always enjoy our visits. The food is consistently good and the service is always excellent.See more
Everything was very good. The only thing missing was a wine list. Get a little bit of professional help and come up with a decent local wine menu that would pair well with your fantastic main courses and you'll be perfect.See more
Some Thai restaurants are very good, but also quite expensive. This one gives you a generous lunch portion with rice and a cup of soup for a moderate price. On this occasion, the soup was not quite ready, so they served us a small salad. The dressing was very tasty.See more
