I absolutely loved the art in this volume. Not sold on Levi but I do like where they went with it and I think this is a Swamp thing that doesn't have me wishing it was Holland lol. But the idea behind it and where Levi's story started and seems to be heading I enjoyed. Then the Obsidian sun stories were amazing on all levels. Art ,A+++,story A++++, lettering,dialogue, coloring all just top notch. Can't wait to read the next volume.

For a series that historically always gives a treasure trove of contemplation, this specific run manages to blend old sensibilities in with new quandaries. Could be the start of something incredible.

Lots of clear Immortal Hulk influence while still holding true to Swamp-Thing's vast roots!
